Today I’m exploring one of China’s most rural villages, the Tianlong Tunpu Ancient Town 🇨🇳 This place is incredible! Most the house in this town are built out of stone and have stood here for over 600 years 🤯 I’ve travelled to many cities in China, but it’s always amazing to get out outside of the major cities and experience the countryside life 🏔️ Feel like I’ve travelled back in time, watching these elderly men enjoy a smoke on the side of the river

Just drove over the Hua Jiang Grand Canyon Bridge, the world’s tallest bridge and this modern marvel is incredible! 🌉 It’s over 2,000 feet above the river down below and reduced a 2 hour drive down to 2 minutes. This is why “decoupling with China” is a complete myth. I’m here in Las Vegas attending CES the world’s largest tech show and was invited to join a Chinese Tech cocktail party this evening. Some of the brightest minds and entrepreneurs from China are in this room, including the founder of DJI There is ZERO chance the US could ever decouple from China. 1/3 of the companies in attendance at CES are from 🇨🇳 Mandarin is spoken all over the convention floor and every Chinese entrepreneur I speak is optimistic about the future and not worried at all about a Trump presidency. Remove yourself from the media who spreads lies and fear. Come to the trade shows and learn about how the real world works!

I feel in love with this tower the first moment I saw it in 2007! 🌅 The Oriental Pear TV Tower has constructed in Shanghai in the early 90s as a symbol that Shanghai would become a key economic hub of the new Chinese economy 🇨🇳 Nearly 35 years later it’s still one of the most iconic buildings in the world and it’s always amazing to be back in Shanghai, a city I was blessed to call home for 7 years 😃

I’ve been traveling through China with my family the past 3.5 weeks and the more time I spend here the more I realize one important fact 👇 Chinese people want the same things in life as every other culture in the world. Good job, safe country, children, opportunities for those children, quality of life that continues to improve. I’ve been coming to China for the past 18 years and can see why Chinese people have an overwhelming positive view of their government but more importantly their country. My family and I came to play tennis this afternoon and found the world class sport facility on a rooftop of a downtown office building. 8 outdoor tennis courts, 6 pickleball courts, 4 indoor tennis courts and over 15 coaches. This is just one example of a plethora of changes across China the past two decades. Better infrastructure, clean streets, less crime, better education, the list goes on and on Sport is growing fast in China, people are prioritizing their health and this society is moving forward. It’s incredible to spend our summer holiday here and experience it first hand

This is how the 🇺🇸 🇨🇳 relationship will improve…people to people diplomacy👇 This afternoon I took my kids to play badminton, a sport we do together as a family 3x a week here in China. Two young Chinese boys approached my twins and wanted to play against them. They were fascinated to play against two young Americans. The four of them battled for almost an hour, spoke a mix of both English and Chinese, and at the end all 4 young boys were so happy they got to play with each other. New friendships made, new cultures learned, but most importantly an experience all 4 boys will remember. This was probably the first time these local boys got to play against American kids, and it was the first time my boys got to test their skills against local Chinese boys. This is why we come back to China every summer. Explore the country, teach our kids Chinese, appreciate my wife’s hometown here in Guangzhou. Life is beautiful when you just focus on people and being kind to others. Chinese people are amazing, this country is amazing and I will never stop trying to share China’s story with the world 🌍

International and local chefs are constantly coming up with new concepts, unique menus, and creative decorations 🥘 While China’s economy isn’t as strong as before, deflation has kept food prices down and every night in the city I go out and see restaurants filled with people 🍲 Most people think China is cut off from the outside world. Instead when you visit China you’ll see China is learning and becoming more modern and international 🌎 There are now more high end coffee shops in Shanghai than NYC and London combined. Bakeries filled with artisan breads and pastries are all over China now showing foreign tastes have been developed on mass scale in China ☕️ China is opening up. Dozens of EU countries can now travel to China visa free. Yesterday New Zealand was added to the list. Foreigner visits to China is up 305% in Q1 2024, when measures from the same period last year ✈️ More foreigners are coming to China and it’s a great thing. The world needs to learn more about China. This country is simply amazing and truly changing the future of the world 🇨🇳 Come here to see a nation who is embracing their commitments to producing clean energy. It’s simply incredible how much of the auto industry is now dominated by EVs 🚗 Visiting China is taking a step in the future. Such an absolute pleasure to be back in the country for an extended stay 😃

Took my family to Hong Kong Disneyland today! This is the BEST Disney park to visit for families and here are 5 reason why 👇 First off, I'm an Orlando, Florida native. I grew up going to Disney World as a kid and while Orlando is great, the size of Disney World and crowds are too much. It isn't an enjoyable experience anymore. Here is what makes HK Disney so special: 1. More Affordable - Ticket prices are roughly 40% cheaper than the cost in the USA 💵 2. Smaller Park - Hong Kong Disney is the smallest of all Disney Parks, easier to get around and see what you need to see in a day! 3. Less People - Located on Lantau Island in HK, this Disney is a bit far from downtown HK and really never gets too crowded (compared to the insanity of USA parks). 4. Better Food - Fresh Dim Sum, some of the nice buffets you will find in Hong Kong, this Disney has a lot more tasty and healthier options than it's American counterparts 5. Cultural Experience - It's fun listening to Mickey Mouse speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Disney does a great job combining classic Disney stories and Chinese culture.

Even the US State Department has a Level 3 Travel Advisory Warning for US Citizens stating: "Reconsider travel to Mainland China due to the arbitrary enforcement of local laws, including in relation to exit bans, and the risk of wrongful detentions" The reality on the ground is much different. This was filmed yesterday. A group of young Chinese students approached me wanting a photo. I greeted them in Chinese but then switched to English as they wanted to practice English and I also want everyone to hear and understand their exact words: "We think America is good. We think American people are good. We want to be your friends." I've been traveling to China for 17 years. This has been the ONLY reaction I've ever had from Chinese locals. Chinese people love America and they love Americans. In reality, China welcomes ALL foreigners and the country remains an incredible place to travel, visit, and live. Don't let the media tell you what to think. Keep an open mind and go experience life for yourself.

That might sound like propaganda to some people, but if you actually do visit these small villages, you’ll see how technology and infrastructure are changing people’s lives and providing them a higher quality of life for the future I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to visit, explore and connect with China every year. This is one of the most fascinating countries in the world and I love sharing my travels and journeys through the Middle Kingdom 🇨🇳

Say what you want about China, but there is no doubt in my mind that China is inventing the future technologies that will fundamentally change our world. The United States has the most corrupt, profit driven medical industry in the world and generally speaking, the majority of Americans are overweight and unhealthy. Love to see practical uses for AI that will result in real change for the people, but most importantly prolong people's health and allow doctors to do their jobs better in the future 👇

While walking through the Tencent booth, I was approached by this young Chinese man who recognized me from YouTube. This might be the single worst video I've ever seen from a US government official as Senator Tom Cotton goes on record stating he doesn't believe in the United Nations and believes the famine in Gaza is "made up". Absolutely disgusting! There should be a documentary made on how Israel bought the loyality of our US government officials. I can't believe US politicians sell themselves for so cheap to a foreign nation.
