A video of Indian tourists breaking into an impromptu garba performance on an airport tarmac in Vietnam has gone viral online, triggering a wave of reactions across social media — with many users expressing shock and disappointment over the unusual scene unfolding beside a parked aircraft. The widely circulated clip appears to show a group of Indian tourists enthusiastically dancing near a VietJet Air plane, turning the airport apron into a makeshift dance floor. Several members of the group were seen forming a loose circle and performing energetic garba steps in an open area close to the aircraft, seemingly during boarding or immediately after disembarking. While some users found the spontaneous celebration entertaining, many criticised the act as inappropriate and unsafe for an airport environment, questioning how such activity was allowed so close to the aircraft.

The death of 27-year-old techie Yuvraj Mehta in Noida’s Sector 150 has exposed a chilling case of ignored warnings and civic negligence, as a truck had earlier got stuck in the same deep, water-filled pit weeks before his fatal drowning. Despite this near-miss clearly highlighting the danger, the excavation remained unbarricaded, unlit and without warning signs, even amid dense fog.

When the body of SOG jawan Amjad Khan reached home, the room fell silent — until his 1-year-old daughter cried out, “Papa, Papa.” In Jammu and Kashmir, a Special Operations Group (SOG) jawan, Amjad Pathan, was martyred in a fierce gunfight in Sohan village, Majalta tehsil, Udhampur district last evening. Security forces had launched a search operation after receiving intel about three terrorists, believed to be linked to the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit. Two other SOG personnel were injured in the exchange of fire. While the initial gunfight has been contained, the area remains under a tight security cordon with all escape routes sealed. The Nagrota-based White Knight Corps shared updates on social media, and IGP Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti, highlighted that a very small SOG team bravely engaged the terrorists. Forest combing was challenging due to darkness and difficult terrain. One terrorist is believed to have been injured in the initial encounter. The operation was suspended overnight and resumed at first light, with reinforcements rushed in to strengthen the cordon and neutralize the holed-up terrorists.

“I am Trapped, Can’t Talk Now” - Twisha’s last heartbreaking message As the Twisha Sharma case continues to spark outrage in Bhopal, her cousin Meenakshi Sharma has now come forward with an emotional testimony, claiming she was among the last people to speak to Twisha before her death. According to Meenakshi, Twisha had been opening up to her for weeks about the alleged harassment she was facing inside her marital home. She claims Twisha repeatedly said she was being mentally tortured, abused, denied food, and isolated. “She was messaging me for almost a month… she kept saying she was trapped,” Meenakshi alleged. Twisha Sharma — a former Miss Pune, MBA graduate, former employee at a German company, and sister of a Major in the Indian army — allegedly lost nearly 15 kilos in just five months, according to her family. Meenakshi also questioned the suicide narrative, alleging that visible injury marks were found on Twisha’s body, including marks near her neck, ears, hands, and feet. The case has triggered widespread anger after allegations surfaced that Twisha was repeatedly humiliated by her in-laws, called degrading names, and pressured over pregnancy and finances. Her husband, advocate Samarth Singh, has been accused by the family of harassment and is reportedly absconding, while his mother — a retired district court judge — is also among the accused. The grieving family says they are still struggling to get justice, alleging delays in police action and claiming they had to sit for hours at the police station before their complaint was heard.
