The 35-year-old man, who was arrested for raping a... seven-year-old girl and inserting iron in her private parts, was booked for attempted murder after he attacked cops with a sickle and tried to escape on Wednesday night. The police fired in self-defense and two bullets hit the accused #Ramsingh's leg in the village of #Jasdan taluka where they had taken him for recovery of the rod. After recovering the rod from his field, the cops reached Ramsingh's house where he suddenly picked up a sickle and launched the attack which left Dharmesh Bavaliya, head constable with the Local Crime Branch (LCB) of Rajkot Rural police, injured. HC Gohil and KM Chavda, both police sub-inspectors, fired from their service revolvers to prevent him from fleeing. Bavaliya suffered injuries in the chest and arm. The police control room was informed and both were first taken to KD. Parvadia Hospital in #Atkot for treatment and later shifted to the civil hospital in #Rajkot city late at night. Rajkot Rural superintendent of police (SP) Vijaysinh Gurjar had told reporters that the accused committed the sexual assault in about 10 minutes. He was familiar with the girl and her family, knowing that they were originally from #Dahod and had come here to work as farm labourers, Gurjar said. Police said the girl cried out during the assault, which agitated the accused, who then inserted the rod in her. Ramsingh is on police remand until December 15 in this rape case. In a big twist in the death of real... estate firm director Ketan Vishal Agrawal, police on Tuesday arrested his fiancée and her lover for allegedly pushing him into a deep gorge off Lohagad Fort in Pune and passing it off as an accident, officials said. While the incident, which occurred on June 18, was initially believed to be a case of an accidental fall at the historic Lohagad Fort, the investigation pointed to a murder conspiracy, they said. Agarwal (26), a resident of Gahunje in Pune district and director of a family-run real estate business, was found dead in a gorge near the fort on June 18. The police had then said Agarwal fell nearly 400 feet into the gorge while taking photographs during a trek with his fiancée and friends amid strong winds at the fort. An accidental death report was registered after his fiancée, Siya Goyal, told the Lonavala rural police that Agarwal had slipped and fallen while the couple was on an outing at the hill fort. Agarwal was scheduled to marry Goyal later this year. It was learned that the families had made elaborate wedding preparations, including booking a palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan, for the ceremony. Superintendent of Police, Pune rural, Sandip Singh Gill, said the circumstances surrounding the death appeared suspicious, which prompted police to investigate the case thoroughly. "Our teams examined multiple angles, including financial disputes and personal relationships. During the probe, police allegedly found that Goyal was in a relationship with another man, identified as Chetan Babulal Chaudhary (22), a resident of Kondhwa in Pune," he said. The investigation showed that Goyal was unwilling to marry Agarwal and considered him an obstacle to her relationship with Chaudhary, the official said. The two allegedly conspired to eliminate Agarwal. As part of the plan, Goyal took him to Lohagad Fort under the pretext of an outing, while Chaudhary was called to the spot later. The duo then allegedly pushed Agarwal off the fort, leading to his death, police said. Based on suspicion, the local crime branch took Chaudhary into custody. During interrogation, it emerged that since Agarwal was becoming an obstacle in Chaudhary's relationship with Goyal, both of them plotted to eliminate her fiancé. Goyal was also arrested based on Chaudhary's interrogation, the police said. "Following a complaint lodged by Ketan's father, Vishal Agarwal, the Lonavala rural police registered a case of murder and criminal conspiracy under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita on Tuesday," Gill said. Further investigation is underway to establish the exact sequence of events, collect forensic evidence and determine if other persons were involved in the alleged conspiracy, police officials said. Lohagad fort is linked to the history of Maratha empire founder Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is one of the 12 forts in Maharashtra listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.show more

Something is broken in our Uganda Police Force. This... State Witness, a full Regional Scene of Crime Officer, showed up in court, took oath, said he had visited a murder scene with a certain police officer, Mary Mbabazi. The defense says he’s lying about having gone to the scene of crime with said police officer and at said time. A video is played showing Mary Mbabazi arriving alone. Police officer recognizes her and says yes, that’s Mary Mbabazi. He’s not anywhere in the video. It’s played for minutes before and after arrival. He confirms he’s nowhere in the video. It’s put to him by Jet John Tumwebaze that he lied. He says he didn’t lie. The video clearly shows he lied. He insists he didn’t lie. Perhaps the video recorder just edited him out. These are the Uganda Police Force officers the state wants to rely on to convict someone for murder. These are the police officers that have filled up our jails to 4 times capacity. Same police officers are being accused of back-dating police forms 17A and submitting forged documents. Police officers filed two PF17As that are alike on everything, down to placement of commas and stamps but one has extra exhibits. The witness is having a difficult time explaining why a carbon copy has different information than the original. Witness says “pens fails sometimes”. The Chief State Prosecutor tries to step in and Mr Tumwebaze, with whom they seem to have no love lost, tells him not to bother helping his (the defense’s case). He says: “why are you helping me with my case, Mr Muwaganya? You help yours. You can’t fail to help yours and help mine”. The man is only serving violence. The Chief State Prosecutor, a very good prosecutor in his own right, looks distraught. The witness battering goes on…It’s a bit painful to watch. #UgandaVsMollyKatangashow more

A 21-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in broad daylight... at the BC Road bus stand in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday evening, sending shockwaves across Karnataka. The victim, identified as Lavanya, a resident of Kakkepadavu, worked at a private nursing home in Kalladka. Police said the accused, identified as Chethan, allegedly attacked her with a machete after she repeatedly rejected his advances. He was arrested within hours near Vamanjoor-Pacchanadi on the outskirts of Mangaluru following a coordinated police operation. The incident has sparked widespread outrage and renewed concerns over crimes linked to harassment and one-sided obsession. Police have registered a murder case and launched a detailed investigation into the circumstances leading to the attack. According to the police, Lavanya was returning home from work on Thursday, 16 July, at around 6 pm. She had boarded a KSRTC bus from Bantwal to Kakkepadavu after finishing her shift at the private nursing home in Kalladka. Police said Chethan, who is believed to be a distant relative of the victim, boarded the same bus and sat next to her. The accused had allegedly been pursuing Lavanya despite her repeatedly rejecting his advances. Sensing something was wrong, Lavanya reportedly called one of her relatives and informed them that a young man had sat beside her on the bus. The call was disconnected shortly afterwards. After Lavanya got off the bus at the BC Road bus stand, the accused allegedly followed her. Police said he then took out a machete from a bag and chased her. Despite her attempt to escape, he allegedly attacked her repeatedly before fleeing the scene. Police personnel from the Bantwal subdivision and Bantwal Town Police Station rushed to the spot soon after receiving information about the incident and began an investigation. Lavanya, who sustained critical injuries, was immediately shifted to Bantwal Taluk Hospital. However, she succumbed to her injuries despite efforts to save her. After the attack, the accused allegedly fled towards Mangaluru in an Alto car. During his escape, he reportedly called Lavanya's father and told him that he had killed his daughter and intended to end his own life. Acting swiftly, the Bantwal subdivision police formed a special investigation team. Using mobile phone location data and CCTV footage, officers traced and arrested the accused along with the vehicle near Vamanjoor-Pacchanadi on the outskirts of Mangaluru. Police sources said the accused had allegedly created a disturbance at the private hospital where Lavanya worked about a month earlier. Hospital staff reportedly intervened and prevented the situation from escalating. Investigators are now examining whether the absence of a formal police complaint after the earlier incident contributed to the tragedy. Bantwal Town Police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation.show more

CCTV footage has surfaced showing the moments before Haryanvi... singer and YouTuber Ankit Baliyan was shot dead outside a gym in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli. The footage shows Baliyan, 35, stepping out of the gym around 6:45 pm on Wednesday with a kit bag in his hand. He walks toward his car. Four men, the suspected shooters, follow him. One of the assailants, dressed in black, can be seen holding a gun. The attackers open fire as Baliyan approaches his vehicle. A barrage of bullets follows. Gunshots ring out intermittently for about 25 seconds. The shooting sends commuters and pedestrians into a panic. People peer out from nearby shops but quickly duck back inside as the firing continues. Police sources said 12 rounds were fired in all. The shooters also fired into the air, apparently to spread terror. The attackers used .30- and .32-caliber pistols, police sources said. The weapons are considered sophisticated firearms. Baliyan’s post-mortem examination will establish how many bullets struck him and the exact nature of his injuries. The singer was critically injured in the attack and was taken to a community health center, where he was declared dead, police said. The murder took place about 15 kilometres from the Haryana border. Police suspect the shooters may have come to Shamli from Haryana. Baliyan, a resident of Banti Kheda village in Shamli, had made a name for himself in the Haryanvi music industry. His YouTube channel had more than 3.68 lakh subscribers. His songs often featured guns, fights and SUVs. Many of his lyrics revolved around violence, defiance and rivalry. Several of his songs had drawn millions of views. His final Instagram post was uploaded about two hours before his death on Wednesday. In the video, Baliyan is seen sitting in his car and singing a Haryanvi song that includes the line, “Murder maar de sadak ke upar (murder on the road)”, an eerie foreshadowing of how he meets his end. Baliyan was also known for his song Bhari Court Mein Goli Maarenge Meri Jaan whose title translates to “We’ll shoot you in court, my love.” The notorious Gogi gang has claimed responsibility for the killing. In a social media post, the gang alleged that Baliyan was in contact with its rivals and had composed a song about an incident involving the gang. A post from the Instagram account of Bholu Shahpuria, who is reportedly associated with the gang, said, “This is just the beginning, everyone’s turn will come.” The post also threatened the Uttar Pradesh Police and warned of more incidents similar to Baliyan’s killing. Police have registered a murder case against four unidentified assailants based on a complaint filed by Baliyan’s father. Several police teams have been formed to identify and arrest the attackers, officials said.show more

🙏🙏 He did not hesitate. Not even for a... second. In front of his wife and children, Chase Childers saw a family of five being dragged into a rip current at Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The ocean was pulling them farther away with every second. People on the shore watched. Some shouted. Most froze. Chase moved. A 38 year old husband, father of three, former Cobb County police officer, and former professional baseball player, he had spent his life stepping toward danger when others stepped back. He entered the water and swam straight into the current. Rip currents are invisible k!LLers, powerful enough to drag even strong swimmers under. But Chase focused on the people in front of him. One by one, he reached them. One by one, he helped them get back toward safety. Five lives pulled out of the water. Five people who would make it home. Then the ocean took him. The same current he fought against dragged him under. His wife and children watched as the man who had always protected them disappeared beneath the waves. He did not come back. Chase Childers d*ed the way he lived, putting others before himself. He had already been honored during his life for saving people as a police officer. But his final act said everything about who he was. A man who saw strangers in danger and chose to give everything so they could live. Five people survived that day. Because one man didn't walk away. 🙏🙏 Story based on reported informationshow more

This happened on day at Hospital in Denver, Colorado.... The officer in the bed is Officer Daniel Park, Denver Police K9 Unit. The dog is Axel, his four-year-old Belgian Malinois partner. Five days ago, Officer Park and Axel responded to a robbery in progress. During the confrontation, Park was shot in the shoulder. Axel was right there. Saw his partner go down. Stood over Park and wouldn't let anyone near him—not even other officers—until paramedics convinced him they were helping. Park was rushed into surgery. Spent five days in recovery. Hospital policy says no animals. But the K9 unit pushed hard. Axel hadn't eaten since Park went down. Wouldn't work with any other handler. Just paced and whined constantly. The hospital made an exception yesterday. Watch the footage. Park is propped up in bea. You can see the bandages on his shoulder. The door opens. Axel walks in with Sergeant Kim holding his leash. Axel sees Park and just stops. Stares. Like he can't believe it. Park reaches out his good arm. "Hey, boy. Come here." Axel bolts across the room. Jumps onto the bed. But look how careful he is. He positions himself across Park's chest, deliberately avoiding the shoulder injury. Park wraps his arms around Axel and starts crying. Axel tucks his head under Park's chin and doesn't move. Park's nurse told us: "We don't normally allow dogs in recovery rooms. But watching that reunion, I understood completely. That dog needed to know his partner was alive." Axel stayed for thirty minutes. When it was time to go, he refused to get off the bed. They had to use his favorite toy to coax him down. Park gets released tomorrow. Goes home to Axel. Sometimes the only thing that matters is knowing your partner is still breathing.show more

This guy cracked the code on AI virtual influencers... using real-time face filters and now D2C brands pay him $2,000 per UGC video. He got tired of watching D2C brands burn $4,000 on a single creator who takes 2 weeks to deliver one angle, so he built a setup that runs hyperrealistic AI girls in real-time from his own webcam, generating viral content without actresses, studios, or makeup artists. His monthly revenue hit $89,000 last month from a network of 7 AI personas across TikTok and Instagram, while the average UGC creator caps at $6K juggling 4 brand deals. Here is the exact breakdown: → The hardware is the moat, but most people butcher the setup in the first frame. You need the face mesh locked at 60fps with zero artifacting → Persona comes first, and if you mess this up nothing saves it. Name, backstory, voice tone, niche before a single clip is shot → Face selection is not random. You A/B test features (eye spacing, jawline, hair contrast with face-framing highlights) because some faces convert better in 9:16 → You are picking who your audience trusts, not who looks cool. That is your targeting baked into bone structure → Real-time physics run before the script, and this is what kills the uncanny valley that destroys watch time in 2 seconds → The filter has to survive the strap of a tank top, the texture of a knit cardigan, the hair flick. → Batching is the move 96 percent skip: one performance, multiple personas, three platforms. → The system pushes 12 pieces of content before lunch, while traditional brands test 2 creators per week and wonder why their CPAs are stuck at $94 The economics are stupid: each video costs him $4 in compute, sells for $1,500 to $3,000, and takes 14 minutes to produce. That is a 37,500 percent margin, while UGC agencies pay creators $400 to $800 per clip and net $200 after revisions. One supplement brand generated 14 variants with 7 personas in 4 hours and found a winner in 36 hours without flying a creator to LA. They were previously paying $1,200 per UGC video and burning $6,000 per week on content that did not scale. Now they spend $210 for 14 variants and their CPA dropped from $89 to $27. The avatars hold real products. Warm window light on the persona, cold neon on the operator. Mouth shapes sync to consonants, not just vowels. Just a webcam, a tracked face, and the discipline to move enough that the filter never has a chance to break.show more

Sometimes, the first hello becomes the best part of... the journey.✨ My submission into the contest by FansAI based on the theme “AI Cartoon: warm & animated” PROMPT: In a quiet little town in Seoul, a shy little boy named Minho moved into a small apartment with his mother. Everything felt new to him , the streets, the people, and especially his new school. On Monday morning, Minho wore his tiny yellow backpack and nervously walked into the classroom. His hands trembled a little as the teacher smiled warmly. “Class,” the teacher said, “this is Minho. He just moved here. Please make him feel welcome.” The students looked at him curiously. “Now,” the teacher continued, “who would like Minho to sit beside them?” The classroom became very quiet. One by one, the children looked away. Some pretended to be busy. Others hugged their desks tightly, not wanting a new student beside them. Minho lowered his head sadly. But then, A small hand slowly rose into the air. It belonged to a sweet little girl with soft pigtails and a bright smile. “You can sit with me,” she said gently. Her name was Hana. Minho’s eyes widened in surprise. The teacher smiled, and Minho quietly carried his bag to the empty seat beside her. During lunch break, Minho sat alone again, opening his lunchbox silently. But Hana scooted closer and placed half of her rice balls onto his tray. “My mom makes too many,” she giggled. Minho smiled for the very first time that day. After school, Hana walked home with him under the warm orange sunset. Soon, they began doing homework together every afternoon. Hana helped Minho with difficult words, while Minho drew funny little cartoons that made her laugh. Later, they would run to the park near their homes. They chased butterflies, fed pigeons, and played on the swings until the sky turned pink. Day by day, Minho stopped feeling lonely. And before they even realized it, the shy new boy and the kind little girl had become the best of friends. 🌸 #FansAI #FansAIOpenCallshow more

The Government Railway Police (GRP) arrested 30-year-old Roshan Suvarna... on Wednesday, June 24, for allegedly stabbing a co-passenger to death inside a moving first-class compartment of a Mumbai local train. The fatal altercation, which took place late Monday night between Andheri and Borivali stations, began as a dispute over closing the coach door to block out heavy rain. The victim, 22-year-old finance marketing professional Mayank Lohar, was stabbed multiple times in the abdomen and chest before the attacker jumped from the slow-moving train at Borivali station and fled. Roshan Suvarna is a 30-year-old airport ground employee who works in the cargo section at the Mumbai International Airport. A resident of the Mira-Bhayandar suburb, Suvarna was a regular commuter on the Western Line network. According to railway police investigators, Suvarna did not have a known prior criminal record matching this profile, but he was carrying a large knife inside his personal bag on the night of the incident. Following the stabbing, CCTV footage captured him calmly walking away from the station platform, prompting authorities to deploy specialised tracking units to locate him. The incident occurred aboard the Churchgate-Nallasopara Fast Local (Train No. 90663). Both Suvarna and Lohar boarded the first-class compartment at Andheri station. As heavy monsoon rain lashed the city and wind blew water into the compartment, an argument broke out between the two men over whether the coach door should be shut or left open. The verbal exchange quickly escalated between Jogeshwari and Malad stations. Investigators state that Suvarna pulled a knife from his bag and repeatedly stabbed Lohar in the abdomen and chest. Despite other passengers being present in the coach, the sudden violence left bystanders frozen, and no one intervened. The train arrived at Borivali Station’s Platform 6 at approximately 11:04 PM. Before the train could come to a complete halt, Suvarna jumped onto the platform and escaped into the city transit crowds. Railway Protection Force (RPF) and GRP personnel reached the compartment within three minutes, safely evacuating a critically injured Lohar onto a stretcher by 11:12 PM. He was taken to the station's Emergency Medical Room and subsequently moved to Shatabdi Hospital in Kandivali, where doctors declared him dead due to severe internal trauma. To track down the attacker, the Borivali GRP established six specialised search teams. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage across multiple transit hubs and eventually established Suvarna’s location after questioning his father. Suvarna was ultimately intercepted and taken into custody in the Kurla neighbourhood. The victim, Mayank Lohar, lived in Virar and had been working at a retail corporate office in Chakala, Andheri, for the past nine months. Although his family originally traces their lineage to Nepal, his relatives noted that they represent the sixth generation of their family residing in Mumbai. The fatal confrontation has renewed public concerns regarding safety protocols and baggage screening on Mumbai's suburban railway network. Because millions of commuters crowd the local trains daily during the monsoon season, authorities are facing mounting pressure to improve the presence of security personnel inside late-night compartments. Roshan Suvarna remains in police custody under interrogation as the formal murder investigation proceeds.show more

After five years at Twitch, the road comes to... an end due to today’s Amazon layoffs. Five years ago, I took a leap from being a full time creator on Twitch to joining Twitch proper. I wanted to make a real impact for creators on a larger scale, and I know I did that. I started on the Charity team expanding charity education helping nonprofits understand how to collaborate with creators and supporting creators fundraising for the causes they care most about. I onboarded and fast tracked animal focused non profits to Twitch, helping them bring their animal cams online during the pandemic to grow global audiences beyond local support during the shutdown. From that work, I created the Animals, Aquariums & Zoos category on Twitch. Im also one of the folks who launched the Twitch Charity Tool, empowering creators to fundraise directly on Twitch for nonprofits. After the first layoff, I was moved to Twitch’s Marketing department, where I expanded the Ambassador Program giving it new life and to the Ambassadors, new direction and purpose. From integrating ambassadors into internal feedback loops across monetization, product, trust & safety and more, to larger inclusion in marketing efforts across the site as well as TwitchCon, these were some of the way I uplifted and supported Twitch Ambassadors, their communities and the things they are passionate about. As for what’s next, I’m updating my resume and exploring new opportunities where I can continue empowering communities through community management, creator partnerships, program management, or marketing. While I look for my next adventure, I’ll also be returning to content creation, so you’ll definitely be seeing more of me around. I’ve got some things I’ve been wanting to create and right now is the perfect time 🙂 It’s not goodbye. It’s see you in chat. 💜show more

On his first day, he fell into deep despair because he thought he heard “gunfire” and saw “troops gathering.” However, he quickly realized he had misunderstood. People around him explained that it wasn’t a military operation but students participating in military training exercises. During the 2024 Spring Festival, while recording food videos in Henan, he was eating at a barbecue stall when the sudden sound of firecrackers frightened him. For a few seconds, his eyes were filled with fear. “I thought it was the sound of a bomb exploding.” Once he realized he was safe, he let out a bitter smile, shook his head, and continued eating. What Actually Happened (Verified Facts) • Date and location:... May 25, 2018 (nearly 8 years ago), at the Al-Zaim (A’Zaim) checkpoint near Jerusalem in the occupied West Bank. • Victim: Karam Qawasmi, a 22-year-old Palestinian man (not a child/“youth”). He survived the incident, was hospitalized, and later spoke publicly about it. • What occurred: After a security check (during which he alleged he was run over by a jeep and beaten for hours), officers told him to “get out” / “go.” As he walked away (hands raised, ~20 seconds later), a Border Police officer fired a sponge-tipped bullet (a non-lethal crowd-control round, not live sniper ammunition) into his back at relatively close range. He screamed in pain and fell. Off-camera laughter from officers is audible in the full footage. • Not IDF “long-range shooting practice”: This was Israeli Border Police (paramilitary unit handling checkpoints), not regular army soldiers in a combat operation. No long-range rifle or “target practice” — it was a single unnecessary shot during a checkpoint interaction. Legal Outcome The female Border Police officer who fired was charged with assault and reckless use of a weapon. In June 2020, she pleaded guilty in Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court and was convicted (physical assault, reckless use of weapon, obstruction of justice). The judge described the act as done “as a form of dubious entertainment.” She faced up to 3 years but the exact sentence isn’t detailed in public reports. This was not ignored — Israeli authorities investigated after the video leaked in 2019, prosecuted, and convicted the officer.show more
