Today we attended court in Chelmsford regarding Muqbil Al Dhaheri, 36, who sexually assaulted an NHS staff member at Broomfield Hospital — and it was very eye-opening. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t enter the courtroom because it was a “sensitive case” and police expected hundreds of protesters outside. In reality, there was not a single protester there. Because of this, public access was restricted and only seven of us were eventually allowed in alongside the press. He arrived at court on the public shuttle bus that runs 365 days a year from Wethersfield into Chelmsford, Braintree and Colchester. He had a phone, a watch, and was wearing a coat with a Union Jack sign saying “Good for nothing, United Kingdom.” He sat in the waiting room while we, as members of the public, were told we could not sit in the same waiting area. In court, it was stated his date of birth is recorded as 01/01/1990. A plea was made that he had never broken the law before. We also heard he missed two pre-court meetings — one by email and one by text — and did not attend either. It was claimed his asylum lawyer advised him not to attend the second. The court also heard he does not understand right from wrong and that his level of danger has not yet been fully assessed. The case has now been adjourned, and he is allowed out Monday to Thursday until the next hearing, meaning he can still travel into town and city centres during half term. The next court date is 7th April, Court 1, Chelmsford at 10am. He required an interpreter, had a lawyer and a probation representative present, yet the case centres around the sexual assault of a frontline NHS worker. What we witnessed was restricted public access based on a protest that never happened, missed official meetings, and a case adjourned while risk is still being assessed. Most importantly, an NHS worker at Broomfield Hospital was assaulted. That should be the focus. Justice for victims and accountability should come first. Holly England

This was filmed on 29th December. Straight off the shuttle bus from Wethersfield into Chelmsford. Cash withdrawn from the bank. Walked straight past a homeless person. Then directly into a vape shop, where the cash was handed over and an item was passed discreetly from underneath the counter. This is what’s happening with your taxpayers’ money in Essex. This is what’s happening in Chelmsford. This is what’s being facilitated by the daily shuttle buses from Wethersfield. Meanwhile, our homeless are ignored. Our NHS is under pressure. Our communities are told not to ask questions. We will keep documenting. We will keep raising awareness. And we will keep asking why this is being allowed to continue.

Statement Update 29 January 2026 On Monday morning, Holly was arrested at her home in front of her children. She was taken to the police station and later released on bail. We are not permitted to discuss the bail conditions. Due to legal reasons following this arrest, Holly and Emma made the decision to move the planned demonstrations for this coming Saturday. Holly has now been contacted by the police and informed that her bail conditions have been brought forward. She has been instructed to attend Chelmsford Police Station on Monday 2nd at 1pm, where custody will be taken. Police have advised her to arrange childcare just in case she is not released later that afternoon, stating there is another case to be addressed. This situation is deeply distressing. Holly is already traumatised after being handcuffed in front of her children. She is not sleeping and is experiencing nightmares. Her daughter is extremely anxious and worried that her mum is going to be taken away again. With high-profile individuals attending events across Essex this weekend, we also cannot ignore the increased safety risks. We are not prepared to put our supporters, families, or ourselves in danger under the current circumstances. Because of this, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel both the Wethersfield and Chelmsford demonstrations scheduled for Saturday 31st January. If individuals still wish to gather independently in these areas to raise awareness, that is entirely their own decision. However, as organisers, we will not be attending or organising any demonstrations on that day. We are absolutely devastated to have to cancel these events. We are only three months old as a team and have already achieved so much together. This decision has not been taken lightly, but the wellbeing and safety of our families must come first. We are deeply disappointed in the way this situation has been handled. A mother has been treated in a manner that has caused significant trauma to both her and her children, while serious criminality continues to impact our streets daily. We will be taking a short pause and will update everyone after the police meeting on Monday. That said, we will still be coming together informally on Saturday. If anyone would like to join us, we will be meeting at The Bootmaker in Chelmsford at 3pm for drinks. It is child- and animal-friendly, and you are more than welcome to come along. Holly England

I am absolutely outraged. Muqbil Al Dhaheri, 26, has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a medical worker inside my local hospital. After that, he urinated in public in front of women and children outside the hospital. And now? He has been bailed back to Wethersfield. The exact same place I have been raising serious safety concerns about for months. This is everything I have been warning about. This is not scaremongering. This is not speculation. This is reality. By bailing him back there, authorities have once again created a situation where he could simply go missing, and the public are left carrying the risk. I have made a video explaining the details because I am genuinely heartbroken and furious that this has happened on our doorstep — to a nurse, to women, to children, in a place that should be safe. 👉 Please watch the video for the full details. 👉 Let me know what you think. 👉 Please share this — this message needs to go far and wide. This is exactly why I refuse to stay silent.

This case raises serious concerns about justice and accountability. Muqbil Al Dhaheri, 36, from Yemen currently living at Wethersfield Migrant camp admitted to sexually assaulting a nurse at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford. Despite pleading guilty to this offence, he has avoided what many would consider a proportionate sentence. He has been given 5 years on probation, ordered to pay just £114 in compensation to the victim, and fitted with an alcohol monitoring tag. If he changes address within those 5 years, he must inform the police. However, he has not been placed on the sex offenders register. This outcome is deeply troubling. A frontline NHS nurse, simply doing her job, was assaulted, yet the consequences handed down do not reflect the seriousness of the crime or the lasting impact it can have on victims. It raises important questions: How can a sexual assault result in such minimal compensation? Why has this individual not been placed on the sex offenders register? And how does the justice system ensure victims feel protected and valued in cases like this? The public deserves transparency, and victims deserve far stronger protection and support than what has been demonstrated here. He doesn’t speak a word of English. Detain and deport. Essex Police have done everything in their power to try and stop tomorrow. But we will not be silenced. Tomorrow we will be peacefully marching from the skate park in Chelmsford to the Shire Hall. This is a calm, family-friendly demonstration by people who genuinely care about our local communities and what is happening across the country. We are not far right. We are ordinary people who care. A huge thank you to one of our very kind supporters who has donated 150 whistles, delivered to my house today these will be handed out tomorrow. We also have over 100 safety alarms to hand out. Please join us at 11:00 at the skate park. Let’s stand together, peacefully and respectfully. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there.

Happy New Year everyone 🎉 We successfully stopped the buses from running yesterday, which was a huge achievement, so thank you to everyone who showed up and stood with us. I’m back out on the streets again today, keeping an eye on what’s going on, and yes, the buses are running today on New Year’s Day. We’ve got some really big plans coming up. Our Facebook page may be taken down, so please make sure you’re following us here and keeping an eye out for future events and updates. 2026 is going to be a big year. We’re not stopping. We will not be silenced. Thank you for the continued support.

Good morning everybody. For future protests, we have heard rumours that vehicles may have been sent out via the emergency exit. Because of this, we will need that exit clearly marked and monitored. Ideally, we are asking for two men to be positioned there at all times. We do not want anyone on their own. This role is for people who do not wish to be on camera, but who still want to support us and help keep things organised and safe. This is purely about awareness, visibility, and ensuring we have eyes on all exits so nothing is missed. If you are willing to help with this role, please comment below or message the admins directly. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and teamwork.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST RAF Wethersfield. This isn’t opinion. This is FOI data. Women are being told “everything is fine.” The facts say otherwise. Since July 2023 at RAF Wethersfield: • 82 police incidents • 35 arrests • Violence, disorder, and 2 SEXUAL ASSAULTS Yet buses still run into our towns daily including Christmas Day. Home Office this is my message to you. When will you start putting the residents of Chelmsford, Braintree and Colchester first. Chelmsford City Council when will you start standing up for your constituents and push back Chelmsford Lib Dems when will you grow a pair? This is only what’s been reported. Our council should be PUSHING BACK but instead they are staying silent. Here’s a video of the first coach load going into Crowborough in the middle of the night. There were over 14 police cars in attendance late last night. This is how much of your taxpayers’ money is being spent. Coaches, police escorts, and overtime, all to protect and manage this operation while local services are stretched to breaking point. Meanwhile, residents are told there’s no funding, no resources, and no capacity for the things that actually matter to our communities. People deserve to see what’s really going on. Watch. Share. Make it make sense.
