Someone asked me yesterday in response to our release: "Is this truly *it*, the next step for agents? A terminal application? Or is the next step a proper desktop application?" Here's my answer:

Playing around with GPT-5.4 and I had it one-shot a version of a Bavarian card game that lets me play against Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.4.

"Is this the bet you want to take? While everything around us is changing?" Some loose thoughts on why this isn't business as usual right now and why treating it as such might not be a good option.

Opus 4.5 added earthquakes and sparkles to my terminal, using Metal shaders. Two messages from my side.

theme: switch I'm kinda shook. Amp's new experimental deep mode built this today. I didn't write a single line of code. I gave it a big prompt at the start with strategy for how I'd implement it and then nothing but handoff and 2-3 "continue" and small messages. Ship it?

Woke up and decided to add support for Go.

Just merged my PR to restore unsaved buffers on restart in Zed 🥳 No more "You have unsaved changes" when quitting Zed. It'll be in the Preview release next week. Next step: restore project-less windows on restart.
