Pulling off the ball is the #1 issue hitters struggle with. (they would agree) To fix it, you don't need to try harder or swing slower. Schwarber proves that. He hits the longest home runs without coming off the ball. How to correct it: Shoulder in, chin and face in on the ball and swing the bat over your front shoulder. Then hold the finish (Arraez swing and finish drill he did in the video) It's worked WONDERS for hitters I've used it with when they need it.

Behind the ball is how you get depth AND length out front. (Not one or the other) Here’s what it actually gives you: 1. You swing more connected and deeper. 2. The barrel enters earlier and stays in longer. You get both. 3. Depth behind what buys you length out front. Most guys are picking one or the other. 4. You sling the barrel through. You’re not shoving it or yanking it into the zone. 5. You actually use the ground. Behind the ball you turn. If you’re not using the ground, you’re probably sliding and pulling everything towards the ball. 6. Your bat speed becomes usable. Pushed and pulled bat speed still reads fast vs one pitch one speed. Only one of them shows up on the barrel, in the zone, on time vs pitching. — Cue for your next round: let the ball get deeper than usual, and turn behind a wall. You can scoot close to a net in front of you to get the feeling, too. Then vs moving ball. > Save this for when you need it > Send this to a hitter who needs it right now (And make sure you’re following)

Gunnar Henderson - Cage Work - High School, 2nd round pick (AL) - I love showing HS clips of MLB hitters for PERSPECTIVE to current HS or College hitters - Many times the elite qualities are there but it's not polished, 'perfect' yet like it is when they're in MLB

Everybody tries to fix their direction by training and feeling their bat path. Makes sense. The barrel and hands the part you can feel the most. But your path is mostly just following where your body already sent the energy. Posture leaks a little, the energy comes away from the ball, and the barrel goes right along with it. So when you’re pulling off, it usually started before your swing even starts. It started with your posture and where your body was working. Hands, path, posture, energy. They all work together. Clean up the stride, body energy and posture and the barrel falls in line on its own. Typically. The drill in the video is how you train that. Volume up so you catch the cue.

Let’s break down one of the best hitters in the country and steal what works. Brenden Lawson had one of the most impressive bats I saw all year. #2 in OPS in the whole SEC. What stood out the most? And what can your hitters actually take from it? Drop it below. 📝👇🏼

Learn from a Hitter Who Hit .328 with 22 HR in the SEC 1. Gathers down and back without getting stuck back 2. Loads forward and downhill without getting jumpy forward 3. Initiates his launch move behind the ball like great hitters do I use his swing with many hitters I work with and evaluate. Most hitters need a very similar load pattern Also notice, how he stays down hill with his head and front side as he gathers and strides, doesn't work uphill This allows him to stay consistent, on the ball and quick reactionary. > Save this for when you need it > Send it to a hitter who needs it If you like this type of content, let me know in the comments!

Presence is the part of the 'swing' nobody trains. When you walk up to the plate.. Are people saying "oh, the pitchers in trouble here" Or do they see your presence and think "he's got no chance" Hitters spend all waking hours on their swing and zero time on how they carry themselves in the box. Or on deck. Or walking up to the plate. Train how you carry your bat walking up to the plate. Train how you have that slight 'good luck' stare down at the pitcher. Train how you give off 'you better not miss' vibes to the pitcher. Pitchers read it. Coaches read it. Your family reads it. You step in unsure with your head down and you've told them how the at-bat goes before the first pitch. The ones who own the box aren't faking it. They know their plan, they trust their swing, and it shows. Go watch your own video, Go train it. You'll be surprised by how much better you perform. > Send this to a hitter who needs it > Save this for when you need it.

This is one of the simplest ways to be more consistent at the plate. “Eyes behind the ball.” That’s it. - Track it longer. - Let it travel. - Stop trying to hit it out of the pitchers hand and let it come to you. > Save this for when you need it. > Send it to a hitter who does.

Bryce Harper’s Dad was ALL about CONFIDENCE 🧠📈 “He would go buy the best baseballs in the store” (Didn’t have much money but thought it was worth it) “I wanted to instill the confidence that you could hit it out of any park you were at” Building EVIDENCE THAT HE COULD 📈🚀
