This is same Harike Pattan bridge where police dumped Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra’s body. In 90s, thousands of dead bodies were thrown here by police and in fact Rajasthan govt had to reach out to Beant Singh to complain that they are getting too many dead bodies in canal from Panjab side.

Gulshan Kumar was abducted by KPS Gill’s Punjab Police and killed in a staged encounter on July 22, 1993, after being falsely branded a terrorist. His body was secretly cremated by police without informing his family. With the support of Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra, Gulshan’s father, Chaman Lal, fought for justice for nearly three decades until the guilty police officers were convicted.

Most of 25,000 people that Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra traced were either burnt as unidentified or sank in rivers and canals. And Ravneet Singh Bittu thinks his butcher grandfather was a saint.

Pb Govt is now trying to locate DSP Jaspal Singh, who was convicted in murder of Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra, released on bail, and for whom the same govt had moved an application in 2022 for his premature release. We are being ruled by idiots who don’t know which files they’re signing after 6 PM.

Family of Gulshan Kumar (who was abducted by Bittu’s grandfather’s police and killed in a staged encounter on July 22, 1993) today came to Harike Pattan and attended Ardas ceremony. They were helped by Shaheed Jaswant Singh Khalra and his family to fight case of extrajudicial murder of Gulshan Kumar. They are asking why Beant Singh or Ravneet Singh Bittu did not fight their case.

15 year old Kulwant Singh Kanta was not as lucky as my cousin. As per this former police officer, Kanta was picked up by police, shot, beheaded, his stomach was cut open, and his body was thrown into a river so it would never be found again.
