I asked Ontario’s Health Minister what this government is doing to RESPECT and RETAIN #nurses. Instead of answering, she talked about recruitment and alleged nurses who tell her they appreciate her. When I called out the non-answer, she laughed out loud. Ontario nurses are dealing with burnout, chronic understaffing, workplace violence, and unsafe working conditions. There is nothing funny about that. Nurses deserve better. #onpoli #NationalNursingWeek
