The Police Protective League is coming to the rescue. They are dropping $105k on digital ads that are pretty clearly trying to bolster Rae Huang’s name ID &amp; pretend she is DSA’s candidate (they endorsed no one but “recommended” Raman).

The LA County Federation of Labor has a new committee lined up to go after Spencer Pratt, and they are dropping an initial $221k on this video &amp; an additional digital ad.

A lot of comment today from local NIMBYs dragging CM Padilla. She gave some extended comments that included acknowledging this week’s infamous podcast interview. Padilla doubled down on value of local control &amp; says her role is to be the one to find compromise btwn YIMBY &amp; NIMBY.

Hugo is scared to lose power, and thinks yeah more accountability and representation is nice but it’s so much easier to get my stuff through a 15 member council. He seems to think council works just fine as is and apparently no longer supports expansion?
