This morning the Zionist terrorists announced they were going to go after the Qard Al Hassan Cooperative Bank that offers loans with no interest to all Lebanese civilians - usury-free banking that is criminalised by Israel as "providing funds to the Resistance" - reality it is a lifesaver for the Lebanese people, denied any reconstruction funding or free health care by the Zionist-aligned regime members. Yesterday, in the pouring rain, I visited Sohmor, a village in West Bekaa in Lebanon. This is a small Shia Muslim community with an estimated population of 3000 (2015). I will be writing a full report but I wanted to share and honour the martyrs from this border town that has faced Zionist aggression for decades, and survived to continue the war against the occupation and the Zionist savagery. War planes were overhead but the drones could not function well due to the low cloud and rain which gave some respite to the inhabitants, from drone strikes. This village has been targeted multiple times recently and during the 2024 war, it is now almost fully evacuated except for the young men who remained to confront evil on behalf of Humanity and to care for the elderly who refused to leave...These are the sons of Lebanon, farmers, students, doctors who prefer to fight for the future of this country than to see it overwhelmed and engulfed by the Rothschild-Epstein cartel. Every day they face death by drone or missile yet what shone through was their kindness and courage in the face of the collective narcissism and sadism of the Zionist bloc. There are reports that #Syrian tribal forces are retaking areas east of Euphrates from US Zionist-backed Kurdish Contras & includes Al Omar and Conoco oil fields. Also reports that #US jets are bombing tribal forces to halt advances & US troops have been mobilised. This could be a major move for #Syria if they can regain control of oil fields in north-east, under #US occupation. I pray this is going to happen for the sake of #Syrian people and regional Resistance #Palestine. Will try to fully verify as events unfold. Yesterday we were in Akkar to speak with #Syrians (Alawites) who have escaped the HTS atrocities in the coastal region, Hama and Homs. The first family we spoke to had just arrived. Nobody would agree to be filmed or give their family names because HTS would massacre any family members still in Syria. I could audio record the conversations. I saw the same 1000 mile stares we have already seen in Gaza after Zionist imprisonment and torture. Children, clearly traumatized , their eyes pools of fear and bewilderment. One young man who had only arrived in the morning told us, he spent 5 days on the run. He described how HTS deploy drones to hunt down the people fleeing slaughter and sheltering in the woods. He said he spent considerable time in the river that refugees are crossing to get into Lebanon. He said, keeping his body temperature low was how he avoided detection by the terrorist drones.
