I’ve found a way to get Destiny home from Stargate Universe. Hear me out. By the time Stargate Universe happens, the events of The Ark of Truth have already happened. The Ori are gone, their followers have learned the truth, and the civilizations of the Ori galaxy are no long enemies. The Ori tech technology still exists. So why couldn’t that become the key to rescuing Destiny? Earth already knows how powerful Ori Supergate technology is, and we’ve already seen Stargates powered using energy from black holes. The Ori Galaxy now working with Earth, they can use Supergates, Ancient technology and black hole energy to establish a connection with the Stargate network near Destiny. Then! (And this is where I’m a genius) instead of simply getting Destiny’s crew home, find a way to establish a Supergate near Destiny as they can establish a super gate the same way they did in the Milly Way Galaxy. You’d effectively create a bridge between the Milky Way, the Ori galaxy and the distant galaxies Destiny has spent millions of years travelling through. The technology would open up Stargate to a new era of intergalactic exploration and thus the Stargate Universe as a whole. Hell. You could actually rotate crew on and off Destiny. In my not so humble opinion. Outside of Wormhole drive. This is how you get Destiny home and expand the Stargate story within existing canon. #Stargate #StargateUniverse #SaveStargate

If Stargate Universe was allowed to continue it would’ve been the Stargate Universes (pardon the pun) Battlestar Galactica. Hands down. The best Stargate of them all if they allowed it to continue to develop. Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis walked and ran so Stargate Universe could have a shot. I will never forgive the studio for cancelling this just as it got good. Shame. Wish Amazon MGM truly realised the GOLDEN IP they had at their disposal. Stargate fills a hole in Scifi that other shows can’t replicate and in an age of large swathes of people wearing their views on their shoulders be it politics or general views. Stargate managed to be progressive, action packed, funny, emotional whilst catering to a wide net of people. Stargate quite literally worked because it catered to all and let us all eat happily whilst not becoming preachy at all. Why can’t people see this! #SaveStargate

This Stargate scene from “Hero’s” is my favorite in the entire franchise. The cinematography and flow of this sequence inspires a lot of what I do today. Wish we got more like this in Stargate but overall Heros part 1 & 2 is some of the best television I’ve watched. Don’t believe me. Go watch it yourself. #SaveStargate #Stargate

All these years of slowly chipping away at Blender culminates on May 4th when I drop the final version of this. A very rough block out of the scene for the BATTLE OF CORUSCANT. Just wanted 3D Twitter to know there are those of us still bothering to learn the tools because at the end of the day. It’s the best way to get GOOD results. Nothing quite like the sense of achievement of getting a scene started! Can’t wait for my 4090 to melt when I’ve added in all the VDBs 😂 guess I got to optimise this bad boy haha. #starwars #blenderartist #blendercommunity

Star Trek ENTERPRISE was a great show. In my top 3 for sure! We was robbed of the NX01 Refit with the secondary hull. And the Romulan Wars for that matter…. Would’ve been akin to the Dominion Wars arc in DS9 if the stars aligned lol. Ohh well lol I hope Star Trek United gets off the ground. Stargate means a lot to a lot of people. Amazon MGM Studios I really do call on you to actually communicate with the fans on this one. This isn’t a small franchise. In its 350 hours of television that accrued millions of fans worldwide. They deserve a little bit more respect than a PR drop in a Variety article. We and many others want Martin Gero Stargate and vision. We wanted the team that comes with that elite baller knowledge. Joseph Mallozzi 🏴‍☠️ and Co have been incredible bastions in community along with Dial the Gate | The Stargate Oral History Project and GateWorld.net #SaveStargate You had these guys on a video dropped on your channel with the promise of a show. What went wrong? Reinstating the Gate will happen. How and what it looks like? That’s down to you the IP holder after all. But without the fans and without clear communication on what’s transpired it’s a tough ask to get us to be excited again. Maybe you don’t care. Who knows. All I know is you had ungodly good faith from some the most critical people online. Not just fans. Come on Prime Video and Jeff Bezos reinstate the gate. Make this happen. I’ve never been more passionate to save a franchise than Stargate. It’s quite literally one of the inspirations that got my into learning creative tools. It informs my style, creative choices and is a constant in my rerun collection I watch yearly. This show is getting my full attention.
