Poland is one of the safest European countries (soon to be the safest one, probably) at this point when it comes to terrorist attacks. It is one of the very few places in Europe today where you can feel truly safe and secure while parading.

The Vatican had strictly forbidden priests from holding political office. Cardenal’s defiance of the Vatican's order led to his suspension from administering the sacraments. Interestingly enough, in 2019, Pope Francis officially lifted the canonical penalties that were originally imposed on Ernesto Cardenal by John Paul II.
