Who are the members of the Men's Rosary movement? "We are men who desire to fulfill the will of Mary – our Mother and Queen. We wish to do exactly what she requested of all of us and continues to request. Her will is the will of her son Jesus Christ, our Lord and brother. Fulfillment of those instructions serves the greater praise of God, so that His children can be with Him for eternity. That means us, our families, and all people who desire to partake of His grace. We believe that our role – the role of men – in God's plan is to protect for eternal life all those whom God has given to us here on Earth. Just as St. Joseph was the earthly guardian of the Holy Family, so we have the task of defending the sanctity of our families and those close to us. We want to do that together, in a community of men. In this group we strengthen our male identity and male virtues." (the movement's website)

Poland is one of the safest European countries (soon to be the safest one, probably) at this point when it comes to terrorist attacks. It is one of the very few places in Europe today where you can feel truly safe and secure while parading.

Fun fact: During his visit to Nicaragua in 1983, Pope John Paul II scolded the Nicaraguan communist priest and poet Ernesto Cardenal, which was captured on video (seen below). Arriving at the Managua airport, the Pope wagged his finger and publicly reprimanded Cardenal for his involvement in Nicaragua's Marxist-influenced Sandinista government, which went against Church law. John Paul II told him to straighten out his position with the Church. Ernesto Cardenal, a prominent supporter of communist liberation theology, was serving as Minister of Culture in the Sandinista government. The Vatican had strictly forbidden priests from holding political office. Cardenal’s defiance of the Vatican's order led to his suspension from administering the sacraments. Interestingly enough, in 2019, Pope Francis officially lifted the canonical penalties that were originally imposed on Ernesto Cardenal by John Paul II.

Poland will always be grateful to Iran for hosting Polish refugees during World War II ❤️ In 1942, over 116,000 Polish citizens arrived on the Iranian shores of the Caspian Sea. This massive exodus included the soldiers of General Władysław Anders' Army, as well as tens of thousands of civilians. Among them were thousands of orphaned children who had just survived starvation, disease, and the brutal conditions of Soviet labor camps in Siberia and Central Asia. Despite facing their own severe wartime hardships, economic struggles, and food shortages due to the Anglo-Soviet occupation, the Iranian people and government welcomed the refugees with extraordinary generosity.
