OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! When I stepped away from TV, one question echoed, “What’s next?” Today, I’m excited to finally share something that has been quietly taking shape behind the scenes. Some of you asked out of curiosity. Others asked because you genuinely believed in my journey. Today, I’m proud to officially announce the beginning of a brand new chapter, ADVENTURE WITH ZAKIA. This is a storytelling movement dedicated to discovering the heart of Uganda,Africa and the world. Through this project, I will take you where many have never been, ask the questions few think to ask. Every episode is an invitation to connect with the places we often only hear about. I’m equally excited to share that Adventure With Zakia will be available across my digital platforms, with full episodes premiering on YouTube, highlights and exclusive content across my social media channels, selected features on television platforms so that these stories can reach audiences far, wide and I will also be taking you there with me physically. And now, it begins. Our very first adventure takes us to Karamoja. For 24 hours, I immersed myself in what is recognized as the largest village in East Africa, experiencing a way of life that few people have ever witnessed firsthand. This is not the Karamoja you’ve seen in headlines. This is Karamoja through the eyes of its people, its traditions, and its remarkable spirit. This is only the beginning.
