It is the exact reverse of what an ageing body needs, and the people handing it out have the mechanism sitting right in front of them. Recovery gets worse with age. Nobody argues with that. The older body clears fatigue more slowly, repairs more slowly, and tolerates far less accumulated work before progress stops entirely. Every GP, every physio, every trainer will nod along to that sentence. Then watch what gets prescribed on the back of it. High reps. Long burning sets. Circuits. Three sessions of cardio stacked on top. A protocol whose main product is fatigue, given to the person with the least capacity left to absorb any. They identified a recovery problem and prescribed more recovery cost. The answer runs the other way and it is not complicated. For four to five years, every resident of Marina has been using a single secondary gate that exits onto the Aklimpur-Teekli village road. A broken, patchy road through a village. Not a backup route. The only route. Now, after years of court disputes and a stay that was finally lifted in early 2026, HSVP cleared the encroachments on the Sector 68-69 road. Ninety percent of the land is free. GMDA tenders are nearly done. The road that thousands of residents had been waiting for is finally being built. For Marina, this should have meant one thing. The main gate could finally open. Instead, Supertech sent people to the connecting stretch. They physically dug up the road. Residents, including school buses carrying children, were turned away. Everyone pushed back toward the same secondary gate. The same broken village road. The same 700 to 800 metres of extra distance every single day. The same builder whose allottees have been protesting outside HRERA, demanding refunds for flats that were supposed to be delivered in 2017. 🇺🇸 THE COURTS SCREW US AGAIN! - Why can't... we just get the courts to go along with preventing mail-in ballot fraud? Let me paint the picture for you. Back in March, Trump signed an executive order on mail voting. Homeland Security would build a list of confirmed citizens eligible to vote in each state, pulled from citizenship and naturalization records. The Postal Service would then deliver ballots only to people on that list. Simple. Verify the citizen, then mail the ballot. And the courts are actually blocking this! A judge in Boston froze it on June 25 after 23 states and DC sued. Saturday the First Circuit backed her two to one, three months out from the midterms! Frustration! But let's look closer at that ruling: The appeals court never decided whether the order is actually legal. Justice argued the suit "came too early" since no agency had finalized any rules, and the panel simply said the states can sue now instead of waiting. That's a fight over timing, not the merits. A damned technicality! And a judge in Washington already went the other way on a similar challenge. This is a split heading for the Supreme Court, not a settled verdict! Once again everyone is punting! France banned mail voting back in 1975 after ballots in Corsica were cast for dead men. Why can't America just get this right? So what now? The judge said Congress never gave the President this power, and she has a point. There's already a bill for that. It's called the SAVE America Act. Their kids are Lily, age thirteen, and Marcus, age ten. The dog is a shaggy brown and white mixed-breed named Benny. Seven years old now. Two years ago, the Warners were moving from Chattanooga to Nashville. It was a long moving day with multiple trips. During the second truck run, Benny was left with a neighbor temporarily. When the neighbor opened the door to check on him, Benny slipped past and ran. They searched the neighborhood for hours. Filed lost pet reports. Drove back from Nashville three times to search. Posted on every platform they could find. Hired a pet recovery service for two months. Eventually, life kept moving. The kids still talked about Benny. The subject would come up at dinner sometimes. Christine told us she never fully unpacked Benny's things in Nashville. They just stayed in a box in the garage. Then in September, the Warners moved back to Chattanooga for David's job. Back to the same house. The same address. Last Thursday at 6:42 PM, the doorbell camera activated. Benny walked up the porch steps alone. Thinner than before. Fur longer and rougher. I genuinely think some people STILL do not WANT... TO understand the scale of what has happened in Iran. We are talking about a regime massacring tens of thousands of people in LESS than 48 hours, tortured people to death. A regime executing wounded protesters in hospitals, sexually assaulting nurses, separating heads from bodies, gang raping people for protesting, piling corpses on top of each other and forcing families to search through countless dead bodies hoping to find their loved ones. Families were forced to pay money just to retrieve the bodies of their murdered children. We have seen 100s and 100s of names already, yet most victims’ names will probably never even come out under Islamic Republic because many families do not even have the ability to tell the world what happened to their loved one, and some are simply trying to survive. And while all this was happening, the Islamic Republic continued arresting, torturing and executing more people. Right now, there are still people sitting in prisons listening to others being tortured in the next room, waiting in line for executions. There are still families searching for loved ones who disappeared so completely it is like they vanished off the face of the earth. One of the darkest massacres in modern history unfolded in front of the world, and the world continues to make excuses for it and the bare minimum we can do is refuse to let it be forgotten, buried, normalised or escaped from accountability. There is no “going back to normal” after seeing this.
