When I watch this clip over and over again... I really think to myself am I watching a clean game which is transparent and not filled with any doubts. The only ones who are gaining anything are the owners, broadcasters and players. Fans stand to gain nothing. We all are just supporters of this game and cricket is like a religion in India. I feel sorry how cricket is run and operated these days. It all feels very fishy and most games have no credibility.show more

🚨If we get an opportunity to play India at... the Asian Games, we will put them under pressure - Mike Hesson🤯 Mike Hesson said :🗣️ "India is the benchmark in terms of white ball cricket at the moment, and our challenge is to catch up to them. We are certainly preparing the best we can so that, if we get an opportunity to play India, we will put them under pressure, like we did in the Asia Cup final. So look, there's a lot of cricket to be played between now and being able to play in the final for both sides. So, we are not getting too far ahead of ourselves ".show more

HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware,... as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. They are doing truly amazing work within these communities and I am so very glad that they are this year's recipient. Now for the exciting part! Drum roll, please... I am very proud to announce that we were able to raise $32, 290USD! Yes, you read that correctly! $32,290USD! Thank you to everyone who has donated, those who were cheerleaders, and those who were donators and cheerleaders. I am so incredibly proud of our community and I hope that you are too! You guys are fabulous! I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Jake Norton for sharing his love of Nepal and its people with us. By sharing his memories, and parts of his recent trip with Sam, we were able to have a personal connection with both the people and the places that our donations will benefit. For that I will always be grateful to Jake. I would also like to thank Jake for his very, very generous donation match during the last week of the fundraiser. It was great to see Jake ensure that "Sam" finally made it to the top of "Everest." (Where there's a will, or in this case, a Jake, there's a way!) As always, it is lovely to hear from the organizations that we raise money for each year and this year is no different. Please take a moment to listen to this lovely message of thanks from Wende Valentine, Executive Director at dZi. It is reminder of just how important our philanthropy is, and, that wherever we are in this wonderful world of ours we can always make a difference in the lives of others. "It takes a village. Ours just happens to be sparkly." #SamHeughanshow more

Together we heal, together we rise❤️ In light of... the recent 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck several parts of Mindanao, CartonVerse Official initiated a donation drive to extend help and bring hope to our fellow Filipinos. Through the generosity and support of everyone who participated in our donation drive, we were able to raise ₱20,000, which was used to provide relief goods to affected communities in General Santos City and nearby areas. This initiative would not have been possible without your financial support, trust, and kindness. Seeing their smiles and heartfelt gratitude reminded us that even in the midst of hardship, hope, compassion, and care for one another remain strong. This is more than just relief goods, it is a message that they are not alone, and that together, we can rise after any calamity. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who supported, volunteered, and believed in this cause. May we all continue to pray for everyone’s safety and healing. 🤎 #CartonVerseOfficial #TogetherWeRiseshow more

Throwback to 2009. What was supposed to be an... ordinary day of cricket turned into one of the darkest days in the history of the sport. The Sri Lankan team was on its way to the stadium in Lahore when their convoy came under a terrorist attack. Gunfire echoed through the streets, players were injured, brave security personnel lost their lives, and the match was abandoned. Hours later, military helicopters landed inside the stadium to evacuate the team safely—an image that would go on to become one of the most shocking scenes ever witnessed in cricket. The attack not only stunned the cricketing world but also changed the future of the game. International teams stopped touring Pakistan for years, security protocols across world cricket were tightened, and the incident became a reminder that some moments are far bigger than runs, wickets, records, or trophies. A day cricket will never forget.show more

During the C8 Summit, I held a bilateral meeting... with Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. Ukraine and Poland are strong neighbors, friends, and partners, and we have one common enemy. Today, above all, we discussed how important it is to maintain our unity and work together to stop this war. I thank Poland for its new aid package. This is an important step in supporting us, and we appreciate it. We also addressed further development of the Carpathian Initiative and the opportunities it can create for all the countries in our Carpathian macro-region. Of course, we are ready to share our experience with Poland and are open to mutually beneficial cooperation. This is how we should continue building relations between our countries.show more

This morning our Samaritan's Purse cargo plane left North... Carolina with nearly 85,000 pounds of emergency supplies for Nepal. These photos show some of the communities where we are working. The destruction is unimaginable. The 30-foot-high wall of water, mud, and debris destroyed everything in its path. Survivors are in shock, grieving, and many have lost everything. So many of their family members and friends were killed or are still missing. We are working with partners in the hardest-hit areas to provide things like water filters, tarps, blankets, hygiene kits, and solar lights. Continue to pray for the people of Nepal. And pray for our teams responding to this overwhelming tragedy in Jesus' Name.show more
