A single 93km solar array in orbit would generate... as much electricity as every country on earth combined. The future of industry is in orbit.show more

With a single solar array ~100km wide in space... we could generate as much power as the whole of humanity combined currently uses. (barely visible when you zoom out) 99% of long term future energy growth will be space solar.show more

STARLINK IS RUNNING EARTH’S LARGEST SERVER… IN ORBIT While... everyone else is bragging about data centers on the ground, SpaceX quietly put 9,000 solar-powered computers in space and called it a constellation! Orbital Math: • Starlink sits at over 9,000+ active satellites after the latest batch • The entire rest of Earth manages roughly 3,000 to 4,000 combined • Each Starlink unit is a solar-powered network node with onboard compute • SpaceX now operates around 75 % of all active satellites in orbit At this rate Earth’s “space industry” is basically Starlink plus supporting characters! SpaceX is becoming one of the biggest solar-power operators... in space. Gen 1 Starlink: ~10 MW in orbit. Gen 2: ~100 MW. Gen 3: targeting ~1,000 MW. That's roughly a 10x jump every satellite generation. Most people think of Starlink as an internet network. Meanwhile, thousands of satellites are turning orbit into a rapidly growing solar-power grid. SpaceX Starlinkshow more

AI companies are fighting over land, electricity, and cooling... water on the ground. SpaceX is planning to skip the ground. Elon has something different in mind. Starmind. AI compute in orbit. Solar-powered satellites. Laser links. Racks of chips. A giant brain above Earth. Everyone else is building bigger data centers. SpaceX is planning to launch one.
