Adding keyframes to the 3D feature tracking shows that... the object in the Pentagon's PR043 UFO video is consistent with a ~13 cm diameter object moving in level flight at 20 knots. Or any number of faster, larger objects. So maybe a bird, or a balloon.show more

NVIDIA finally released Neuralangelo's source code! The model can... turn videos from any device into detailed 3D structures, fully replicating buildings, sculptures, or other real aworld objects or spaces virtually. Here's how it works: A model utilizes a 2D video with multiple angles of an object or scene. I selects frames from different viewpoints to understand depth, size, and shape. The AI creates an initial 3D representation, similar to a sculptor shaping a subject. The render is optimized to enhance details, like a sculptor refining texture. The outcome is a 3D object or scene suitable for virtual reality, digital twins, or robotics.show more

While observing the Moon, a telescope captured a fast-moving... object briefly passing near the lunar surface. The event lasted only moments, making it difficult to identify the object with certainty. Possible explanations include a meteoroid, satellite transit, or another object crossing the observer's line of sight. A split-second observation... and another fascinating moment in lunar astronomy.show more

Mysterious footage from the Pentagon’s UFO files shows a... bizarre object streaking across the sky in 2013. The nearly two-minute infrared clip, submitted by U.S. Central Command personnel, shows a strangely shaped object floating over the Middle East.show more

Vehicle tracking using Ultralytics YOLO26 👀 In this demo,... I trained the YOLO26 model on a custom dataset and later used an object tracker (Bytetrack) to track the objects in the video file. Note: I also performed testing with Botsort, which is also a good tracker, but it's slow in comparision to Bytetrack. #Tracking #ComputerVision #MachineLearningshow more

Most 3DGS segmentation tools either pre‑train per scene or... lock errors into a feature field you can’t undo. ArtisanGS instead turns a few 2D masks into editable 3D object selections via Cutie tracking + black‑box splat aggregation, then lets you iteratively correct mistakes with consistent 2D/3D selection modes. 📗 #NVIDIAResearch paper:show more
