Bureau Busts Racket A Hyderabad-based call centre involved in defrauding US citizens was busted by the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) following a raid at a Madhapur building on Wednesday evening. According to TGCSB Director Shikha Goel, the operation was led by Kaivan Patel and Rupesh Kumar alias Jaddhu from Gujarat, with assistance from Rupesh’s brother Vickey, based in Dubai, and another associate, Azad. The prime suspect, Chanda Manasvini (36), had established a company, Exito Solutions, and rented a floor in the building to run the call centre, which employed 63 people, including 40 from Northeastern states. Employees were offered a monthly salary of ₹30,000, along with transportation and accommodation. The scam involved tele-callers posing as PayPal representatives, falsely informing US citizens of unauthorized transactions in their accounts. Victims were tricked into sharing sensitive information, which was then used to siphon funds into designated bank accounts. Each caller was tasked with duping at least 10 people daily, targeting an average of 600 victims, leading to the theft of thousands of dollars. The stolen money was later converted into cryptocurrency and transferred to other digital wallets. Authorities believe some individuals provided PayPal customer data to Chanda Manasvini, enabling the fraud. “All tele-callers were fluent in English and trained to manipulate victims. They were aware their activities were illegal,” said an official. During the raid, police seized 52 laptops, 63 mobile phones, and 27 employee identity cards. You’re on a journey on this kind of lonely... road with your car and your car suddenly develops a fault, You can’t call for help and your lines can’t be reached due to network issues, what do you do? Except the car will stop and the engine won’t come up again, please reduce your speed and accelerate softly till you get to a nearby town, if it is an overheating issue, keep driving, put the gear in the neutral position and switch off the engine and let the car keep moving, switch it back on when you have to ascend a hilly road and the car can’t move freely on its own again. If the battery signal comes up while driving, chances are that your alternator has failed, or the alternator belt is damaged, apply the same method and switch off your AC, radio system or anything that may drain the battery while driving till you get to a safe place. If it is a flat tyre, maintain a low speed till you get to a safe place to change and use your spare, keep moving. Yes!!! Damage that tyre till you get to a safe place, just keep moving and make sure you have a spare tyre always and it is in a good condition. If the engine suddenly goes off on top speed, chances are that a fuse is damaged and this is why I will make a thread on how to identify different fuses and how to have them fixed temporarily in case of Emergencies. If your car jerks or experiences a lazy movement while driving, it’s likely to be a fuel related issue, fuel pump most likely, switch off the engine intermittently and put the gear in Neutral position, keep moving… if the fuel pump rests for about 5mins, it’ll pick up back when you ignite the engine, this will/may at least take you to a safe place or where you can have access to network to make calls. If you hear strange sounds like knocking sounds or the oil signal starts to blink, relax and reduce your speed, keep moving. Manage it till you get to a safe place or can have access to network. If your gear/transmission system isn’t selecting well, apply the same method, reduce your speed but keep moving, slow movement is better than no movement, your life and safety matters a lot. Please note that there are some Mechanical issues that nothing can solve on the road except patience and just to pray to God for safety and help, for example, you run into a pothole unknowingly and the oil pan hits the road and your engine or gear oil leaks away, or your ball joint or tie rod head pulls out, I’ll suggest you leave the car there, roll up your windows and lock up the car and start trekking till you get network or help, staying with the car may make you vulnerable to attacks or attract unexpected company, just keep walking away from the car for safety. Most importantly, please stay safe and be conscious of your environment. Be friendly with your Mechanic too or any Mechanic you see on the road. I've written 6 published peer-reviewed studies on voter roll... irregularities for the Journal of Information Warfare. JIW is focused on cyber security and the use of information to conduct war. The fact that their reviewers decided to publish my papers tells you something: their cyber security experts consider the threat posed by corrupted voter rolls to be so serious that it could be classified as an act of war. And what are the findings? In brief: 1. Count of voters who voted changes with every snapshot for old elections (can't tell who or how many people voted in any election) 2. Presence of substantial numbers of illegal records makes it impossible to know how many qualified voters exist in any state surveyed. 3. Unusual algorithms used in some states to assign ID numbers can be used as covert data channels. 4. Photographically identical signatures on registration applications evidence forgery and identity theft. 5. Backdated registration dates indicate falsified data pertinent to question whether votes made were legal. 6. Presence of purged records creates large pool of records that can be used to generate illegitimate ballots. There is more, but the bottom line is this: The rolls are the heart of any election, yet they are so compromised they aren't fit for use.
