Let’s unpack this Kenny dillingham stuff because it’s been... hard to follow: So last night it’s seen that Michigan football players and employees are following Kenny on Twitter. This then set off an insane amount of buzz and rumors on Twitter especially when cfb expert Josh Pate tweeted an ominous image which only furthered the speculation. This morning Dillingham then moves back practice from 9 to 10:45 which ended up being nothing and the reason was because he wanted to “play basketball” After this practice he then was open to the media where he was emotional citing how much ASU meant to him. In this media appearance he also mentioned that he had been offered a contract extension weeks ago from ASU but has yet to put pen to paper 🤔 He also mentions how Michigan is one of the best programs and never outwardly says “I will not be the head coach of Michigan” While this saga has yet to end, signs are pointing to Dillingham staying an ASU, but I don’t think the door has fully closed. I think Michigan did in fact contact him and made an enticing offer that still may be on the table, but it’s a lot to ask for him to move his whole life across the country. This umpire was behind the plate calling a game.... He overheard the moms in the stands saying this young man up to bat was having a bad day, had injured his knee and was hurting pretty bad and needed a hug. So, he asked him if he needed a hug, he said yes, so he called time out and the Blue obliged and gave him a hug. A simple act of kindness. If we could do more of these things what a better place this world would be. 💯 Our youth need more leadership like this. Have you ever seen an umpire call time out and go give the batter a hug? 10 days out from the Chicago Marathon, John Korir... did a workout in Kenya called “The Signature” that had been drawn up by coach Ron Mann and Haron Lagat. It’s 4x400m; 3000m; 4x400m; 3000m; 4x400m – all with one minute recovery. Lagat says that Korir closed the last one in 8:09. The 400s were about 64s-65s. He used to run that last one in 8:30 to 8:15. His coaches have been telling him that he could run 2:02 and today it happened to win the Chicago Marathon. #ChicagoMarathonshow more

A 34-year-old man is receiving treatment at Katima Mulilo... State Hospital after surviving a lion attack in the Kasika area, Kabbe South constituency, on Thursday. Nsundano Libuku, a local fisherman, said he was herding his grandfather's cattle towards a stream with two friends when they noticed the cattle suddenly dispersing. Upon closer inspection, he reported, they discovered a calf they suspected had been killed by a lion. Moments later, he heard the lion roar and saw it immediately pounce on him. He responded by stabbing the animal on its forehead with his spear. During the struggle, he was injured on his left hand, right cheek, neck, and the left side of his head and ear. He added that the animal loosened from the spear and instantly ran off. Nsundano said they only noticed the presence of a second lion after the first one fled. He also said his two friends could not assist because they had no weapons to defend themselves or him. He was treated by officials from the Nakabolelwa Conservancy before being taken to Kasika Clinic, then transported to Katima Mulilo by ambulance. Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism officials confirmed they had received the incident report and would respond in due course. So yesterday I was Arrested, and the first thing... they did was to take my Two phones from me, but trust me na, my voice was on top of the world because they don’t want me going live or making videos, so they said someone wrote a petition against me, that the person stated that I call him out on my social media handles and insult him and his family, so many talks but I didn’t say a word, thank God for my staff who has to call my wife to tell her about the situation, she immediately called my lawyer because my numbers were off, then my Lawyer Stepped in, first question from my lawyer was, who is the person that brought the petition, they said the name can’t be disclosed, that I will be detained, my lawyer made some calls and they gave me back my phones immediately, my lawyer told them that there’s no case since the person who petition me can’t be mentioned or seen, after we spent over 4hrs thank God for the DPO who recognized me and told them to discharge the case immediately. I have not seen enough about the decision from... Mike Vrabel and Tim Kelly to go for 2 down by 8 last night. Here’s why I loved it: 1) NFL teams this season have been successful on 55% of two-point conversion attempts. The odds were in the Titans’ favor. 2) Will Levis was dealing in the 2nd half. 3) Titans still had all three timeouts and the two-minute warning. 4) Miami struggled to move the ball on offense all night. Their three scoring drives went for 12, 7, and 59 yards. 5) If successful on the two-point conversion, a stop on defense and a TD wins the game. If unsuccessful, you can still send it to OT. 6) Titans offense marched down the field, scored the TD to make it a one possession game and essentially told Miami, “we are going for two because we know you cannot stop us right now.” The odds are in your favor. It’s a good mathematical decision. You want to psych out an opposing offense? Give them the ball knowing they need to run the clock out, or you are going to have a chance to WIN the game, not send it to overtime. They saw what your offense just did to their defense. They saw your QB on the sideline screaming and hyping everyone up. Cutting the lead to six put WAY more pressure on the Dolphins offense. You want to hype up your defense? Put them back on the field knowing your offense just did their job. Put them back on the field knowing a stop and a TD wins it. At that point, they aren’t in the mindset of “we need a stop to have a chance to go to OT.” They are thinking, “let’s go out here, get a stop, and give our offense a chance to WIN.” There’s a fundamental difference in playing to WIN and playing NOT to LOSE. This was a decision by a coaching staff that was playing to WIN. Brilliant game by Vrabel and Kelly. Brilliant execution late in the game by the offense and the defense.
