A suspect pulled what police described as an “AR-style”... gun on casino staff members in Las Vegas during a robbery on November 13. A member of security is seen approaching the suspect after he advanced toward a cashier, prompting the man to pull out a rifle and aim it at both employees. Police said the suspect left the building through the parking garage after receiving the money he demanded. Police did not specify how much money the suspect stole. In Kyiv, an unidentified man opened fire on passersby... and reportedly later detonated an explosive device. The shooting occurred in the Holosiivskyi district, with at least two people killed, including a young woman. Witnesses say the attacker was running through the street and shooting at people at close range. After the shooting, the suspect reportedly took hostages inside a Velmart store. He is believed to be around 60 years old, and his motives remain unclear. A fire also broke out at the scene, possibly caused by an explosion. SUITLAND, MD / WASHINGTON, D.C. — A robbery investigation... in Prince George’s County led to multiple arrests in Southeast D.C. following a coordinated effort between several law enforcement agencies. According to authorities, Prince George’s County Police responded to the 5100 block of Toddsbury Place in Suitland for a reported armed robbery. Investigators say a citizen was robbed at gunpoint by four individuals, with at least one suspect armed with a firearm. During the robbery, the victim’s coat and other personal belongings were taken. Officials later determined the stolen coat contained an AirTag tracking device, which helped investigators monitor the suspects’ movements. The tracking information led officers into Southeast Washington, D.C., where the suspects were located in the 2200 block of Hunters Place, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department, along with Prince George’s County Police and Metro Transit Police, coordinated efforts that resulted in multiple individuals being taken into custody.show more

Upon arrival, officers located Billie Koss, 45, lying in the roadway with serious injuries. Koss was transported by EMS to University Medical Center. Through the initial course of the investigation, it appears, Koss was riding a bicycle east in the 1300 block of 82nd Street and attempted to cross 82nd Street before she was struck by a white passenger car. The driver of the white passenger car fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The passenger car is described as an early 2010’s model Hyundai Sonata or similar vehicle. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on February 8, 2026, four individuals entered a business in the 400 block of Ouellette Avenue after being dropped off in a silver Dodge Caravan. Shortly after entering, the suspects got involved in a verbal altercation with lone male, which escalated into a physical assault. The victim sustained significant, but non-life-threatening, injuries. Following the incident, the four suspects fled the scene on foot, running northbound on Ouellette Avenue. The Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit have taken carriage of the investigation and are looking to identify and locate the four suspects. The first suspect is described as a white male with dark hair styled with length on top and shorter, faded sides. He had a prominent dark mustache and goatee. At the time of the incident, he wore a short-sleeved white T-shirt featuring a small black horizontal detail on the left chest, black pants or joggers, and solid white sneakers. He was also wearing a silver or metallic watch on his left wrist. The second suspect is described as a white male with dark slicked-back hair. At the time of the incident, he wore a long-sleeved white shirt or thermal under a black quilted or puffer vest, black pants, and heavy black boots or dark shoes. Investigators noted that he was frequently seen with his hands behind his head or neck. The third suspect is described as a white male with dark medium-length hair, a thick dark beard, and a mustache. The NYPD released video of the suspect wanted for... a stabbing that occurred at the Morgan Avenue station on the L line in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn, at about 12:50 a.m. on Oct. 10. The perpetrator approached a 47-year-old man inside the mezzanine area and engaged in conversation. The suspect then walked away, changed his clothing, returned to the victim, pulled out a sharp object and stabbed him multiple times in the head. The perpetrator fled the station and was last seen in the area of Morgan and Johnson Avenues. EMS rushed the victim to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition. Initial investigation determined that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. The driver briefly stopped at the scene before leaving the area.
