🚨 BREAKING: AUDI TESTING NEW ENGINE AT NEUBURG? According... to reports Audi have conducted a test at the Neuburg engine facility on their new ADUO power unit. Tried to confirm this with a Audi employee, I was sent a "👀" emoji. We can clearly hear excessive revving.show more

Most people who owned a diesel Volvo 850 had... no idea what was under the bonnet. The engine was badged as the D5252T, a designation that sounds entirely Volvo. The engine cover says nothing to contradict that. The service history said Volvo. The dealership said Volvo. It was an Audi engine all along. The 2.5L inline-five turbodiesel or in other words TDI was designed and built by Audi, the same unit that had been fitted to the C4 Audi 100 and A6. Volvo sourced it because they needed a diesel quickly and hadn't developed their own yet. From mid-1995 to the end of 1996, every 850 diesel sold was a Volvo on the outside and an Audi underneath. 140 PS and 290 Nm. Badged entirely as Volvo's own. In 2001 Volvo replaced it with the D5, their first in-house diesel, because the Audi unit couldn't meet incoming emissions standards. The most successfully disguised engine swap in mainstream car history.show more

Audi RS4 B7. Peak RS4 for many enthusiasts. The... 4.2 FSI naturally aspirated V8, around 414 hp, paired with a manual gearbox only. Audi was serious about this car. And unlike the M3 or C63 at the time, the RS4 had Quattro AWD, which gave it insane traction. The engine revs high and sounds incredible, although owners know about the carbon build up issue these engines can develop and that they love their timing chain jobs, so missing them just hurts the engine. Still one of the most loved RS cars Audi ever built.show more

Audi’s first V8 platform was tuned with more mechanical... grit than luxury polish. Before the A8, Audi tried something brave. The D11 V8 with the 3.6 was their first true push into the luxury arena, but it didn’t act like a luxury car. This was built to feel overbuilt, almost rally bred. People forget how raw these early V8s were, how much Audi was fighting for identity. This car wasn’t following anyone. It was Audi proving they could build something serious even before the world believed it. Audi V8, D11.show more

GE9X Water Ingestion Test - Proving the World's Largest... Jet Engine Can Survive Extreme Rain The General Electric GE9X, built for the Boeing 777X, must pass brutal certification tests before entering service. One of the toughest is the water ingestion test. What Is the Water Ingestion Test? This test checks if the engine can continue operating safely during extremely heavy rain. During the test: Large amounts of water are sprayed directly into the engine intake The engine runs at high power Engineers monitor performance and stability How the Test Is Performed In a specialized test facility: Water nozzles simulate intense rainfall Thousands of liters of water are injected into the airflow The engine operates at different thrust levels Sensors monitor: Combustion stability Compressor performance Temperature and pressure changes What Engineers Are Checking The engine must prove that: No flameout occurs No compressor stall happens Thrust remains stable Internal components are not damaged Even with massive water flow, the engine must keep running smoothly.show more

Quick testing on the jet engine : The system... upgrade worked perfectly✅ Before now, the jet prototype could never move on rough sand without the Afterburner mode ON, now it's just cruising through the rough terrain, with little rolling resistance, showing a significant increase in engine power, my welder wouldn't dare try to catch it if the Afterburner mode was ON🤣 I'm just imagining the rocket speed on a paved runway 👀 The entire vehicle weighs about 50kg⚠️ With an 8ft delta wingspan There's a huge possibility that this beast may Fly if pushed hard enough😅 The turbo core is actually very weak now due to rust & oil caking while lying dormant for weeks and I will need to change it to a new one🤦🏻‍♂️ We are locally challenging the likes of Lockheed Martin, Anduril, Boeing etc😂 If we could build this with crude tools, Just imagine what we would do with high end machinery & resources It was great to hear the roaring sound again after lying dormant for long I am planning for another runway test✅ Nigeria can be great too mahn Our international colleagues do not have 2 heads⚠️ We'll keep building, testing and pushing Mtcheew.......🚶 #Zedorashow more

Audi Sport Quattro. One of the most unique shapes... to ever come out of the 80s. A shortened version of the Ur Quattro boxy coupe that looks like nothing else. 2.1 L Turbocharged five-cylinder with 306 hp in the road-going version, which was huge for the time. This Audi was so quick that it could embarrass the Lamborghini Countach at the time, 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. This was built for rally homologation, so it was limited to 214 units. Directly connected to the Group B era and cars like the S1 Quattro. Today these cars can go for over a million € for just well preserved examples with low mileage.show more

On April 26, 2021, a Cessna 402C was conducting... multi-engine training at Hyannis, Massachusetts, when a simulated engine failure led to a real partial loss of power during a go-around.The trainee followed memory items and set the left engine auxiliary boost pump to high, which likely flooded the engine with excess fuel. During the go-around, the airplane yawed left, airspeed dropped below safe single-engine climb speed, and the instructor had to take control. The aircraft landed hard on the grass beside the runway, and the landing gear collapsed. Both pilots were uninjured. The NTSB determined the boost pump position during the simulated failure led to the power loss. 📸runthisshittshow more
