Do we really have the right to protest in... the U.S. if doing so peacefully could still lead to permanent physical harm? Protesters have recorded ICE testing an LRAD — a long range acoustic device — a so‑called less‑than‑lethal weapon that blasts sound louder than a jet engine as a deterrent. Using the device can cause permanent hearing loss, tinnitus, ruptured eardrums, vertigo, and intense panic responses. A U.S. court has ruled that using LRADs to intentionally injure protesters can violate constitutional protections against excessive force.show more

🦔Residents living near AI data centers are reporting constant... low-frequency hum measured as infrasound, sound below the human hearing threshold that causes dizziness, nausea, vertigo, and sleep disruption. The noise comes from cooling systems and onsite gas turbines hyperscalers are building behind-the-meter to bypass slow grid interconnects. Local zoning rules do not regulate infrasound because traditional noise ordinances only measure decibels in the audible range, leaving residents with no legal recourse. The video below captures what households near these facilities are living with around the clock. My Take The infrasound problem does not exist in the regulations because the technology producing it at scale did not exist when the rules were written, and developers know exactly which rural jurisdictions lack the framework to push back. Households who bought before the data center was announced get to choose between selling at a loss or living with symptoms that did not exist a year ago, and that cost is being externalized onto people who never agreed to host critical infrastructure for the AI buildout. During the January massacre, the regime’s murderous thugs were... chasing a group of protesters through the streets of Iran. As they fled for their lives into a building, the brave Mohammad Jabbari stayed behind. He held the door shut with his own body for as long as he could, refusing to run, so others could escape to safety. The regime's thugs smashed against the door, then shot him at close range and murdered him on the spot. He gave his life without hesitation to protect his fellow Iranians. Mohammad Jabbari is one of more than 35,000 innocent people slaughtered in the January massacre. He was an honorable hero whose courage will inspire generations. We will never forget his name, or the countless other heroes who fought with unmatched valor against the enemies of humanity. Your sacrifice will not be in vain. Iran will be free.show more

Breaking news 🗞️ 🚨 Tesla just quietly solved a... problem in Australia. The Model X is gone from our market. But the new Model Y L Premium AWD might actually be the closest thing we have to a replacement. And honestly… it makes a lot of sense. ⚡ Tesla Model Y L – Key Specs • 0–100 km/h: ~5.0 sec • Range: ~681 km WLTP • Top speed: 201 km/h • Seating: 6 adults • Supercharging: 250 kW • ~288 km added in 15 min 💰 Australian pricing (before on-road costs) Model Y Long Range AWD → $68,900 Model Y L Premium AWD → ~$74,900 So for roughly $6k more, you get: ✔ 3 rows ✔ 6 seats ✔ Much larger cabin ✔ ~400L extra cargo capacity ✔ Longer wheelbase ✔ Even more range 📊 Quick comparison Model Y Long Range AWD • 5 seats • ~600 km range • 0–100 km/h: 4.8 sec • $68,900 Model Y L Premium AWD • 6 seats • ~681 km range • 0–100 km/h: 5.0 sec • ~$74,900 So performance drops slightly, but practicality goes way up. 🇦🇺 Why this matters in Australia Since Tesla stopped selling the Model X locally, there has been a real gap in the lineup for larger families. The Model Y L doesn’t completely replace the X. You lose things like: ❌ Adaptive air suspension ❌ Driver instrument cluster ❌ Falcon Wing doors ❌ Some luxury interior touches But you still get: ✔ Tesla software ecosystem ✔ Supercharger network ✔ Massive range ✔ Practical 3-row seating And at a much lower price than a Model X ever was. 👨👩👧👦 Who this is perfect for • Growing families • Current Model Y owners needing more space • Former Model X buyers • Anyone considering EV9 / EX90 but wanting Tesla’s ecosystem Personally, as a Model X owner, this is the first Tesla sold in Australia that actually feels like a realistic successor. I’m seriously considering replacing my Model X with the Model Y L, possibly around the end of Q2 or mid-Q3 this year. Not a perfect Model X replacement. But for Australia right now? This might be Tesla’s smartest family vehicle yet. ⚡🇦🇺 ORDER NOW : Tesla Australia & New Zealand Tesla AIshow more

🚨 SCIENTISTS MAY HAVE FINALLY SOLVED ONE OF THE... WORLD’S STRANGEST MYSTERIES. For decades, people around the world have reported hearing a persistent, low-frequency “hum” that others cannot hear. Now, new research suggests that for many, The Hum is not coming from outside it’s a form of low-frequency tinnitus generated inside the body. Researchers tested people who hear The Hum and found that most had normal hearing sensitivity and normal sounds coming from their own ears. This points to the sound being a subjective internal perception rather than an external noise. Why this matters: • The Hum has been reported for over 50 years with no clear external source found in most cases • Low-frequency tinnitus is underrecognized compared to the more common high-pitched ringing • Recognizing it as tinnitus could finally give sufferers access to existing management strategies • It shows how internal auditory processes can create very real, persistent perceptions The deeper implication: We tend to assume that if we hear something, it must exist in the outside world. But the brain is incredibly good at generating its own sounds when something in the auditory system is slightly off. This research suggests that The Hum long treated as a mysterious external phenomenon may often be the brain’s own creation. While it doesn’t explain every single case, it offers a more hopeful path forward: instead of hunting for an elusive external source, people may be able to focus on managing it as a form of tinnitus. Sometimes the most mysterious sounds come from within. Have you ever heard The Hum, or do you know someone who has? Follow for more frontier neuroscience, auditory science, and explanations of strange human experiences.show more

🔴 BREAKING Internet access has been cut nationwide as... protests escalated across multiple regions of Iran. Kurdish political parties and bazaars are calling for strikes, while exiled political leader Reza Pahlavi, who met with Israeli political leaders today, called for mass street protests. Violence was reported in western Iranian cities, particularly Kermanshah, with further deaths reported among protesters and security forces. Militant groups, including the Kurdish Freedom Party, have vowed to fight Iranian security forces in the region. Chants at the protests reported by Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency range from “death to the dictator,” to “long live the shah [Reza Pahlavi],” and “the shah is dishonorable.” U.S. President Trump, for the third time, has threatened to hit Iran hard if it “starts killing people,” while acknowledging that “some people have died so far from stampedes” during the protests. Meanwhile, armed militant separatist groups in Kurdish and Baloch areas have also vowed to fight Iranian forces.show more

Backing Off on Attacks Against Iran At the request... of Arab countries and Israel, the US has decided to indefinitely postpone plans to attack Iran. There are three points in this equation: 1 - Missiles would fly toward Israel without the country having prepared for it; 2 - The Strait of Hormuz would be closed, causing immense losses to oil-producing countries; 3 - American assets in the region would not be sufficient. I’ve said it several times here: Iran is a big player. In the 12-day war, the Iranian navy stayed out of the conflict, but today, knowing that the attack would be aimed at regime change, the Iranians would use everything they have. In those 12 days they practically lost nothing of their arsenal; not even long-range defense systems were destroyed. They hid everything, from aircraft to long range batteries. But today they would fight with everything they have. And that mainly means their three primary anti-ship missiles: Abu Mahdi, Talaiyeh, and Ghadr-380 (Qadr-380). All three with a range of 1,000–1,700 km. That is power not only to close the Strait of Hormuz, but to do the same in the Gulf of Aden and the part of Arabian Sea, causing chaos in the markets. How to take the opportunity and support the riots, without risking the main global trade route? A country of 90 million inhabitants that is as well-armed as Iran is not one that external agents can decide overnight to attack and change its government. For more than 50 years, the CIA and Mossad have been trying to overthrow the Iranian government without success. Now the regime is in a fragile moment, under popular pressure, but when we talk about Iran, nothing is so clear. The US options are limited to selective strikes, far from anything that could implode the regime. The truth is that anything of greater magnitude would put the regime in survival mode, attacking Israel, American bases, closing ship transit, and halting global markets. But I don’t think the US and Israel will let this opportunity pass so easily. New chapters will follow.show more

🇨🇳 CHINA RELEASES VIDEO OF HYPERSONIC SHIP-KILLER LAUNCHING FROM... DESTROYER - U.S. CARRIERS JUST GOT A TARGETING PROBLEM THEY CAN'T SOLVE China's navy just published footage of a Type 055 destroyer launching a YJ-20 hypersonic anti-ship missile. Mach 6+ speeds. 1,000+ km range. Designed specifically to kill aircraft carriers. The footage itself is the weapon. China's not showing this for domestic propaganda. They're telling the U.S. Navy: "Your carriers can't operate in the Pacific anymore without accepting catastrophic risk." Here's the math that just changed: U.S. carrier strike group costs: ~$50 billion (carrier + escorts + aircraft) YJ-20 missile cost: ~$10 million Number of missiles needed to mission-kill a carrier: Unknown, but probably less than 20 The economics are brutal. China can build 5,000 hypersonic missiles for the price of one U.S. carrier. Even with 90% interception rates (currently impossible), they just need to saturate defenses. Hypersonic missiles at Mach 6 travel 2 km per second. The 1,000 km range means 8 minutes flight time from launch to impact. Current U.S. ship defense systems are built for subsonic and supersonic threats. Hypersonics compress decision time to seconds. The destroyer platform is what makes this devastating. China's building Type 055s in volume - eight operational, more under construction. Each can carry multiple YJ-20s. That's mobile hypersonic capability deployed across the entire Pacific. U.S. carriers project power by getting close enough to launch aircraft. But if carriers can't survive within 1,000 km of Chinese coast, they can't project power into Taiwan Strait, South China Sea, or anywhere China's destroyer fleet can reach. Pentagon's been warning about this for years. Now China's demonstrating it works and they're mass-producing the platforms. The carrier era might be ending the same way battleships ended - too expensive, too vulnerable, replaced by cheaper weapons that can kill them from beyond their effective range. China's releasing this footage right as tensions over Taiwan escalate. The message: come within range, find out what happens. Source: Open Source Intelshow more

A man has been following Cam Higby with the... siren blaring for hours now, along with his whistle bearing cohorts. Battery (720 ILCS 5/12-3) _______ (if there’s any physical contact, even from sound devices close to the body) Actual injury is not required — even provoking or offensive contact (e.g., spitting on someone, hitting them with an object, or forcing loud sound into their ears at close range) can count. If the whistles or sirens were blasted directly near someone’s ears — especially if it caused pain, hearing damage, or distress — prosecutors could argue that’s battery, because it’s intentional physical contact causing harm. Up to 364 days in jail •Up to $2,500 fine •12 months of probation or conditional discharge •Possible restitution (e.g., for medical expenses, hearing damage, etc.) Disorderly Conduct (720 ILCS 5/26-1) _______ Class C misdemeanor (up to 30 days in jail and a $1,500 fine), and it’s one of the most common charges for harassment-type behavior like this. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 CENTCOM just requested deployment of the Dark Eagle... hypersonic missile to the Middle East. This would be the first time the U.S. has ever deployed a hypersonic weapon in combat. Here's why it's being requested now specifically. Iran has spent the ceasefire relocating its ballistic missile launchers deeper into the country, beyond the reach of the Precision Strike Missile, whose range caps out around 500 kilometers. The U.S. burned through its entire PrSM inventory in the opening weeks of this war. The weapon designed to replace it hasn't been declared fully operational yet. Dark Eagle travels at Mach 5 plus, maneuvers unpredictably in the terminal phase, and has a range of over 1,700 miles. No existing Iranian air defense system can intercept it. From launch positions in the Gulf it reaches Tehran in minutes. Now here's the catch nobody is leading with. The Pentagon's own testing office says it won't have enough data to evaluate Dark Eagle's combat effectiveness until early 2027. It has repeatedly failed to launch during tests due to launcher and production quality issues. A defense official told Fox News it has reached "initial operational capability." That is the military's careful way of saying it works, sometimes, under controlled conditions. One senior fellow at the Stimson Center said plainly: "How do you know it is defense budget season in Washington? An unnecessary push to deploy a not-yet-fully-operational hypersonic missile against Iran. Nothing says fund me like first use." There are roughly 8 missiles available. Each costs $15 million. Russia and China have been fielding their own hypersonic weapons for years while the US repeatedly delayed. Deploying Dark Eagle now sends a message to Tehran, Beijing, and Moscow simultaneously. The problem is that message cuts both ways. It signals America's hypersonic era has finally arrived. It also signals that America is considering using an unproven weapon, in combat, for the first time, against a target that has spent the ceasefire hardening and dispersing precisely because it saw this coming. THE TESLA MODEL S: THE CAR THAT MADE ELECTRIC... VEHICLES SERIOUS When the Model S launched in 2012, the entire world still saw EVs as slow, boring, short-range toys for tree-huggers. The Model S changed that narrative overnight. It wasn’t just an electric car — it was a statement. Here’s why the Model S was so important for EV adoption: • It proved EVs could be faster and better than gas cars 0–60 mph in under 4 seconds (later Plaid versions under 2 seconds) while being completely silent and smooth. It beat most supercars off the line and made “electric” synonymous with performance. • It delivered real long-range capability Over 300 miles of range when most EVs at the time struggled to reach 100 miles. Suddenly, road trips became possible and “range anxiety” started to feel outdated. • It introduced over-the-air updates The first production car that could get major performance upgrades, new features, and safety improvements wirelessly — like a smartphone on wheels. This changed how people think about car ownership forever. • It forced the entire auto industry to respond Legacy manufacturers who had been dragging their feet on EVs suddenly rushed to catch up. The Model S basically lit the fuse for the modern EV revolution. • It made luxury electric desirable Premium interior, massive touchscreen, ridiculous acceleration, and futuristic design turned EVs from “compromise” into “aspiration.” Without the Model S proving that electric cars could outperform and out-luxury gasoline vehicles, we wouldn’t have the Model 3/Y explosion, the Cybertruck, or the flood of competitors now racing to go electric. The Model S didn’t just sell cars. It changed the future of transportation. It took EVs from niche to mainstream and showed the world what was possible.show more

THREAD: Iranian authorities released new footage this weekend that... appears to show armed men among protesters across multiple Iranian cities carrying out attacks during recent demonstrations, including shooting police officers at close range and beating people until they were left unconscious. In one instance, a number of armed men are seen firing a semi-automatic gun while standing in the middle of group of protestors. In another, an Iranian security official is gunned down from behind as he is walking away. Government authorities claimed “rioters” used knives, axes, and blunt instruments to kill scores of people, releasing videos of men carrying such weapons and images of bodies with multiple stab wounds. The Iranian government has not released official casualty figures. The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a U.S. government-funded group, reports that 3,919 people have been killed in the unrest, including 178 security personnel. Iran’s Supreme Leader has blamed “terrorists” backed by the United States and Israel for the violence, accusing them of killing “several thousands” of civilians and security officials. 🎥 Video shows an attack on the Tehran-Pars police station that left five police officers dead, according to Tasnim, state-affiliated news agency. ‼️🇯🇵🇨🇳 BREAKING - Due to the threat from China,... Japan will allocate an additional $5.4 billion in its 2025 budget for missiles and ships. Japan’s government has approved an additional $5.4 billion in 2025 to purchase extra ships and anti-ship systems. The corresponding document was published by Japan’s Ministry of Defense. The supplementary budget is allocated separately from the main defense funding. Specifically, $370 million is allocated for the acquisition of SSM-2 anti-ship missiles and Type-12 coastal defense missile systems. It is noteworthy that the missiles planned for delivery are not long-range versions — their maximum range will be up to 250 km. Japan will also purchase Type-03 Kai medium-range surface-to-air missile systems. The systems will be deployed on Yonaguni Island, located about 110 km from Taiwan. In total, Japan’s Ministry of Defense plans to acquire 29 batteries of the new surface-to-air missile systems. At the same time, about $800 million will be directed primarily toward accelerating orders for the construction of military vessels — specifically, multi-purpose frigates and submarines. In addition, part of the budget will accelerate purchases of UH-2 multi-role helicopters produced by Subaru. It should be recalled that the adjustment of Japan’s military budget is taking place in the context of the threat coming from China, especially following the national-security comments of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, who emphasized that a Chinese attack on Taiwan would threaten Japan itself, and that Tokyo might become a party to this conflict. For this reason, China has intensified its propaganda campaign, accusing Japan of returning to militarism and imperialist approaches. Moreover, in recent days, incidents involving increased activity of Chinese forces near Japanese territory have become more frequent. In response to China’s increased violations of Japan’s borders, both at sea and in the air, Japan’s Ministry of Defense announced the deployment of Type-03 air-defense batteries and electronic warfare systems on Yonaguni Island, 110 km from Taiwan — a move that sparked even greater dissatisfaction in Beijing. Japan’s multi-billion-dollar special boost, aimed at rapidly strengthening its military capabilities, suggests that geopolitical tectonic shifts may soon begin in East Asia and across the Indo-Pacific basin. Furthermore, the strengthening of Yonaguni Island — and Japan’s effort to turn it into an “unsinkable aircraft carrier” — signals that Japan does not intend to passively wait while China begins its struggle for state hegemony through the use of hard power, which would primarily affect neighboring states. 🚨 CATL SAYS LITHIUM-AIR BATTERIES COULD ONE DAY DELIVER... 1600+ KM RANGE WITH ENERGY DENSITY APPROACHING PETROL. The world’s largest battery maker is pushing a radical “breathing” battery technology that replaces heavy nickel, cobalt and manganese with lithium metal and oxygen pulled directly from the air. In early lab tests, researchers have already achieved around 1,200 Wh/kg more than four times today’s best lithium-ion cells. With further development, CATL believes the technology could theoretically reach ~12,000 Wh/kg, close to the energy density of petrol itself. Why this matters: • It could slash battery weight and cost dramatically • Small EVs might achieve 1,600+ km of real-world range • It removes dependence on scarce metals like nickel and cobalt • A 1,000-cycle prototype with 1,600 km range would theoretically last 1.6 million kilometres The deeper implication: Lithium-air represents one of the few battery chemistries that could genuinely match or exceed the convenience of petrol without massive compromises. If the enormous technical hurdles (moisture sensitivity, cycle life, and oxygen management) can be solved, it wouldn’t just improve EVs it could fundamentally change what’s possible for electric aviation, long-haul transport, and portable power. We’re still very early. Current prototypes are far from commercial, and most experts expect mass production only after 2030 at the earliest. But the fact that the company producing over half the world’s high-voltage batteries is seriously pursuing this shows how transformative the payoff could be. Would you rather see solid-state batteries win the next decade, or do you think lithium-air could leapfrog them entirely? Follow for more frontier battery technology and energy breakthroughs.show more

Russia is striking Kharkiv more often and with increasing... intensity. Reasons for that: ◾️ Russia has not solved its problems on the frontlines. Our soldiers are in dire conditions, but they hold the defense in Kharkiv region and inflict colossal losses to the enemy; ◾️ The Kremlin wants to achieve humanitarian crisis and panic in Kharkiv; ◾️ Ukraine cannot drive away Russian aviation and reach the rocket launchers on the ground because they are on the territory of the Russian Federation. 🔹 How the situation may change: ◾️ Until now, the main direction for the Russian army has been the Donetsk region; ◾️ Kharkiv and (potentially) Sumy direction was seen as a way to distract and disperse the AFU forces; ◾️ but it is in Kharkiv that the enemy has a colossal advantage. And it is as follows: ‼️ Ukraine is not allowed to strike Russian territory with Western weapons. This is a huge dilemma for Ukraine: ⚡️ The more Western long-range means the Ukrainian army gets, the more reasons the Russians have to shift their focus to Kharkiv. This is how they can quietly amass troops and attack from the air without us being able to strike back. ◾️In Donbas, any enemy unit and its rear and logistics can be reached at a depth of up to 160 km, and even further in Crimea. But to the north of Kharkiv, it is only 20-25 km. ◾️ Over the border, the Russian army can be attacked with a very limited arsenal of means. ◾️ Our troops can use all means against the Russians only in a 25 km stretch, and all logistics of the Russians are de facto protected by the political decisions of the Western partners. In Kharkiv now, Shahed drones and missiles are hitting everywhere. About 400 thousand people live in the most dangerous zone. These are residential areas. 🔹 What is happening now: ◾️ Russians are trying to spread panic among these hundreds of thousands of people; ◾️ Kharkiv residents are not panicking and Kharkiv stands tall. This allows less resources from other areas to be brought in for defense than would otherwise be necessary; ◾️ The more stable Kharkiv is, the more Ukrainian forces can be directed to Donbas and Zaporizhzhia. The opposite is true as well; ◾️ Russians will not be able to seize Kharkiv. But they will be able to make people's lives there unbearable and gradually destroy the city. ‼️ So, there needs to be a change in political attitudes in the West. It's about two things: 1️⃣ Perrmission to strike Russian territory, at least at a distance of 100 km. 2️⃣ Air defense and Western aviation as part of air defense. If Russian aviation is driven away from Kharkiv, then even in conditions of missile fire, the city will be a pillar of defense. And the Russians will achieve nothing. Now, the AFU resembles a boxer with his hands tied behind his back. Ukraine's hands must be untied for us to be able to defend ourselves!show more

I’ll be happy to admit that the people training... to failure on high reps are putting in considerably more effort than me.⠀ ⠀ Their sessions cost more energy, require more willpower, take longer to recover, and require better planning to avoid falling into issues with fatigue overload.⠀ ⠀ Meanwhile, I just hit the same exercises, week by week, pick weights I can go close to failure on within the 4-6 rep range, and everything takes care of itself.⠀ ⠀ I’m not broken after workouts.⠀ ⠀ I make steady progress.⠀ ⠀ I rarely have to change things up to fix recovery or intensity issues. My plan basically runs itself.⠀ ⠀ And despite picking the easy road, I can also reach higher levels of motor recruitment due to the fact that heavy weights simply hit more fibers from rep one, and don’t take long to recover.⠀ ⠀ I totally understand why it’s intuitive for some to expect better gains from increased effort.⠀ ⠀ The more they put in, the more they destroy themselves in their sessions, the better their progress.⠀ ⠀ Unfortunately, that idea just gets destroyed by the fatigue problem.⠀ ⠀ Fatigue is a thing. It inhibits motor recruitment from the top down (the ones you need to activate), and it accumulates over a session, over the week, and over the programme.⠀ ⠀ Ignore it at your peril.show more

⚠️🚨 𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢 𝗪𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗔𝗡𝗦🚨⚠️ If you're at a... show and wrestlers start breaking fluorescent light tubes in the ring, GET OUT IMMEDIATELY. These tubes release toxic mercury vapor posing serious health risks; especially in enclosed spaces like gyms. Mercury is a neurotoxin, meaning it can have damaging effects on the brain and nervous system. Here’s how mercury exposure, especially from inhaling mercury vapor, can impact the brain: 1. Cognitive Decline: Mercury can damage neurons and impair brain function, leading to memory loss, concentration issues, and a decline in overall cognitive abilities. 2. Mood and Behavioral Changes: Chronic mercury exposure is linked to mood swings, irritability, anxiety, and depression. Historically, the phrase "mad as a hatter" came from hat-makers who experienced mercury poisoning from chemicals used in hat production. 3. Motor Coordination Problems: Mercury exposure can damage areas of the brain responsible for motor control, leading to tremors, muscle weakness, and coordination issues. 4. Developmental Risks: In children and developing fetuses, mercury can severely impact brain development, leading to learning disabilities, lower IQ, and problems with motor skills, attention, and language. 5. Sensory Impairments: High levels of mercury exposure may lead to impaired vision, hearing, and speech. Mercury's effects on the brain are particularly severe because it can accumulate over time and cross the blood-brain barrier, meaning even small exposures can lead to long-term damage with repeated exposure.
