Turned 24 today by completing an epic 1300km journey... on a motorcycle riding across ladakh. All I can say is - if you’re in your 20s, just pack that bag every few months and go on epic adventures you wouldn’t be able to when you grow old my man. got approached by so many uncles in their 40s and 50s looking at the bike with fascination. the teenage boy in them was excited to see the motorcycle, they were doing the same route, just with a car and a driver and a family they had to look after the entire time. you could sense the longing for something like this in their eyes and their voice. you will never have less responsibilities and more time in the future. actively and consciously shape the life you wanna live. go on more adventures. go take more risks. go solo if you don’t have friends who can come with you. go live a life ur actively proud off despite the burden of responsibilities on your head. go be the guy who does it all - fails most of the time, but tried anyways. go win. My dad is turning 80 soon.🙏🏻 The best decision... my siblings and I made was moving him to live with us after his 76th birthday. It was created by a girl who was annoyed by creepy private messages on eBay and wanted a safe space for females. Anyhow, Vinted was the anti-X. On X, it’s an all-men audience having a completely comical understanding of the female gaze, and on Vinted, you basically had young women thinking men are way more emotional than we are. People who form their opinions on women based on Reddit posts, Pornhub, and incels on X are just ridiculous copers. You can always tell by them being completely one-sided and sexualizing everything. She took him in, posted about their relationship as an act of “resistance,” and was celebrated by her activist friends as a symbol of love overcoming hate. The only time you'll really hear them vocalise is this time of year - mating season. And it's only the girls who talk.😁 The male approaches the female and circles her, trying to mount. The female turns to face him, keeping her nether regions out of his reach, and makes a chuff-chuff sound, telling him she's not interested. She'll keep this up for hours, sometimes days, until she whittles down which of her suitors is the strongest, has the most endurance and energy, is the fittest and healthiest and most determined. She wants only the very best to be the father of her precious children. Only when he's proved himself to be worthy, does the female crouch down and lay her spines flat, and allow him to mate. Inexperienced males often need to use their mouth to hold on and get into position, so this time of year you may see females with a small wound on their back. There can be more than one winner, and she'll allow other males who have made the grade to mate with her also. So the resulting litter can be hoglets with several different fathers, producing a truly diverse and healthy gene pool. This genetic diversity within a population allows it to adapt to changing environments and resist diseases. I’m still riding the high from today. The Tulsa... Oilers Jewish Heritage Game was incredible. It was one of those rare moments that makes you feel like you’re watching the American promise actually happen in real time. Because what happened in that arena was simple, and it was enormous. We lived openly and proudly as Jews. In public. In our city. With joy. With confidence. With thousands of our neighbors cheering alongside us. There are moments lately when Jews are reminded, sometimes subtly, sometimes not, that we’re “supposed” to keep it down. Don’t be too visible. Don’t be too proud. Don’t ask for too much. Today was the opposite of that. Today was: we’re here. Today was: we belong. Today was: we’re proud. I looked around that arena and felt my chest tighten from emotion. That blue jersey with the Magen David. And we didn’t just have a fun night, we made history. This is the first time Jewish Heritage Game jerseys have been worn in a professional sports game. Think about that. In Tulsa. In 2026. With a packed arena. With our neighbors joining in. With Jewish pride celebrated. And what moved me most was this. It wasn’t only Jews wearing it. So many of our non-Jewish neighbors wore it too. If you’re Jewish, you know that’s not just “nice.” That’s deeply meaningful. The Magen David carries memory. It carries history. It carries everything our people have walked through. To see it worn proudly, by people who simply wanted to say, “We’re with you. You belong here,” was a kind of decency that restores your faith in people. That’s Tulsa. And it’s also America at its best. A country where you don’t have to erase yourself to belong, where identity isn’t a liability, where you can be fully who you are and still be fully part of the “we.” I’m proud of Jewish Tulsa. Proud of how our community showed up, joyful, confident, unafraid to celebrate who we are. And I’m proud of this city. Proud of the Tulsa Oilers organization for doing this with excellence and heart. Proud of Tulsa for showing up and making it real. Our identity is something we receive, carry, and hand to our kids stronger than we found it. Today that felt real and tangible.
