I’ll never forget how proud I was to introduce him to my daughter - he was adamant about spending time with her before what ended up being the last game he ever called. I’ll always remember the bond he had with my late grandfather, the constant stream of jokes they cracked together. He was one of my dad’s best friends. He always made fun of my mom for how nervous she’d get during games, but he made her laugh about it, which always calmed her down.
