A sensational theft has come to light in #Bengaluru’s... #Marathahalli area, where gold, diamonds, silver, and cash worth ₹18 crore were stolen from the residence of builder Shivakumar in #Yamaluru. Police identified the accused as Dinesh and Kamala, a couple who had joined the household recently. Kamala worked as a house help, while Dinesh was employed as a security guard. Within a short span of 20 days, they gained the family’s trust by efficiently handling all assigned duties. Before their arrival, another couple, Vikas and Maya, who had worked at the house for nine months, had expressed their intention to leave for their native place. Astronomers just watched a star explode - and saw... its insides exposed. For the first time in history, scientists got a direct look inside a star at the moment it went supernova - revealing inner layers that had, until now, only existed in theory. A massive star 2.2 billion light-years away reached the end of its life and exploded in a brilliant burst of light. But something was off. When researchers analyzed the spectrum of light from the explosion, they didn't see the usual lighter elements like hydrogen, helium, or oxygen. Instead, they saw silicon. Sulphur. Argon. Elements normally buried deep inside a star's core. This wasn't supposed to be possible. According to stellar models, massive stars - those at least eight times the mass of our Sun - are layered like onions. Their cores are packed with heavy elements like iron, while progressive lighter layers of silicon, oxygen, and carbon sit above. Hydrogen and helium form the outermost shells. These outer layers usually obscure everything underneath. Astronomers believe the star violently ejected its outer layers in the final stages of life – not just the hydrogen and helium, but even the middle shells that hide the deeper interior. It’s possible that extreme instability in stars more than 100 times the mass of our Sun could cause this kind of shedding. While similar “pre-explosion outbursts” have been seen in other stars, this is the first time they’ve exposed the inner structure so clearly. The supernova was first detected by the Zwicky Transient Facility in California. Within 24 hours, astronomers triggered rapid follow-up observations with Hawaii’s Keck Observatory and captured the light signature before the explosion faded. That speed was critical. Supernovae evolve quickly, sometimes over just a few hours, and once the star’s material expands and cools, the deeper layers disappear from view. A Merchant Navy officer was allegedly murdered by his... wife and her lover, with his dismembered body sealed inside a plastic drum filled with cement in #UttarPradesh's #Meerut, officials said on Wednesday. The victim, identified as #SaurabhRajput, had recently returned to Meerut from #London, where he was posted. Saurabh, who married #MuskanRastogi in 2016 after a love marriage, was living with her and their five-year-old daughter in a rented house for the past three years. According to the police, Saurabh was last seen on March 4, the day he was allegedly murdered. During interrogation, Muskan and her lover, identified as Sahil Shukla alias Mohit, confessed to stabbing Saurabh to death on March 4. They then dismembered his body, placed the remains in a plastic drum, and filled it with cement to conceal the crime, police said. Shockingly, after committing the murder, Muskan reportedly went on a vacation to a hill station with Sahil. The murder came to light after Muskan's mother approached the police, revealing that her daughter had confessed to the crime. Police arrested both Muskan and Sahil, who led them to the house where the body was hidden. Despite a two-hour effort, police were unable to open the drum due to the hardened cement and had to send it to the mortuary, where the drum was eventually cut open to recover the body. Locals had noticed that Muskan had locked the house and told neighbours that she was going on a trip to #HimachalPradesh with her husband. During this period, she allegedly sent misleading messages from Saurabh's phone to his family to avoid suspicion. Meerut SP City Ayush Vikram confirmed the incident, stating, "We received information about a suspected murder in #IndiraNagar. During investigation, it was found that Saurabh Rajput, working in the Merchant Navy, had gone missing since March 4. On suspicion, we called his wife Muskan and her lover Sahil for questioning. On the evening of 4 March 2026, around 21:30–22:00, Iranian activists held a peaceful demonstration in front of the Imam Ali Center to express their political views and to protest against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The demonstration was officially registered and authorized and took place in the presence of the Austrian police. Throughout the event, participants remained peaceful and exercised their democratic right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. However, during the demonstration we were repeatedly threatened by individuals affiliated with the Islamic Republic, who were standing across the street. Some of them made explicit threatening gestures, including hand signs imitating the act of beheading. Around 21:30, after most participants had already left and while a small group of organizers and logistics volunteers were packing the remaining equipment, the police temporarily left the immediate area. At that moment, a group of individuals suddenly emerged from inside the Imam Ali Center, where they had apparently remained hidden. They launched a violent attack against the remaining members of our team. During the attack: Hot water was thrown at protesters. Several attackers were seen concealing knives or sharp objects under their jackets. Members of our organizing and logistics team were physically assaulted. As a result of the attack, approximately eight to nine people were injured, several of them seriously enough to require hospital treatment. Some participants, including women, suffered severe shock and trauma. Fortunately, the police returned quickly after being called and were able to prevent the situation from escalating further. Dominque Alexander, a career criminal himself, has defended all the wrong people in an effort to position himself in the spotlight, and I immediately knew that what he claimed was nonsense. His voice always raises a red flag. I was right. Christopher Nienhuis, and his brothers, have a past of harassment, fighting and causing trouble within the community. Christopher, who is currently on house arrest for a st*bbing and awaiting trial, physically as*aulted a fellow student in October, 2024. I have obtained video footage of the as*ault. According to witnesses I have spoke with and the obtained report, Christopher grabbed the female student’s cell phone and threw it across the room. He also broke the victim’s laptop. He then began to punch the female till she was finally underneath him. This is where the recording begins below. She was hit in the head but thankfully was not seriously injured. His family did later try to make excuses for Christopher and claimed that the female student had “tried to wrap the charging cord around Christopher’s head”. The police stated that Christopher never made this claim, and suffered no marks. It would seem that holding their son accountable tends to be an ongoing issue, considering Mark (his father) posted Christopher’s bail after the parking lot stabbing. After the altercation in the classroom, the victim was scared to attend class, and attended school online, causing her to miss the rest of her high school experience. Also, following the classroom fight, Markel Nienhuis (the older brother) posted a childhood photo of his brothers on Snapchat with the caption “Call 1-800-Whoop THAT H0”. Also, on one of the female victim’s Instagram lives, Jayden Nienhuis (another brother) posted “I’ll use the brick method on all y’all” and “Ima touch all ya’ll when ya’ll sleep”. From April of 2022, I have also obtained a video of all of the Nienhuis brothers fighting. According to the witness I obtained the video from, two large groups were fighting eachother. And you can visibly seen Chris Nienhuis (black T-shirt) hitting a boy in a blue hoodie in the face with a rock. In a third video I obtained, Chris is fighting in a class hallway. According to a source, this fight ended up continuing in the school bathroom. And according to the witness, Chris and his friends reportedly made a few edits of the student he fought and shared it online in an effort to bully him. So while these so-called “advocates” try to paint this as a good family being unfairly targeted, here’s the reality: A little girl has been shot - by her own father. That father now sits in a hospital facing multiple violent felony charges. And his son - the one they’re calling a “victim” - is awaiting trial for stabbing another teenager and nearly killing him. 12 Angels of Majdal Shams 👼 Of all the... things I've done in my professional life, few experiences, if any, have been as deeply meaningful, inspiring or profoundly moving as this. At the initiative of my incredible friend ERIC RUBIN אריק 🟦 🎗️ and the amazing organizations Athletes for Israel (AFI) 🟦 & Project Max that he leads, this week I had the opportunity to join two NFL legends and Hall of Famers, Nick Lowery and Tony Richardson(T Rich), in a visit to Majdal Shams, in northern Israel. In July last year, Hezbollah terrorists fired a missile, murdering 12 beautiful kids who were just playing football here. A moment that has been seared into our collective memories and heartache. We went to the site of this horrific attack and heard first-hand from the families of the children who were killed, and the indescribable devastation they suffered, as well as their herculean resilience, hope and even prayers for peace. To see these NFL legends, hardened men, who played football their entire careers in one of the toughest sports there is, brought to tears (as was I mind you), was incredibly powerful. These NFL champions, who are also super mensches by the way, also played some football with the kids in the community - at the site of the rebuilt stadium - and spent time signing autographs and handing out gifts. It was the first visit of its kind, of professional athletes, to this community. It was truly inspiring beyond words to see the smiles on these kids faces, and their parents. The moment of happiness and joy was just priceless. They also spoke about long-term projects to support this special community! This was not, like for many others, just a one-off PR visit, and then abandoning them. This is the beginning of a legitimate long-term partnership (more on that to come). We must never forget what happened and do everything possible to support and help these children, their families and the community rebuild! During their trip by the way, the NFL champions also spoke with hostage families, visited the south of Israel and spent time with Lone Soldiers. None of this would have been possible were it not for the vision, initiative and indefatigable effort of Eric Rubin, someone I am proud beyond words to know, and who is single-handedly revolutionizing using sport and athletes to support Israel, combat antisemitism and draw attention to the plight of our hostages.
