CM Shivakumar defends Bidadi Township amidst opposition protests, says... compensation will be more than ₹3 crore per acre. Bengaluru The proposed #BidadiTownship project has become the latest flashpoint in #Karnataka politics, with the #BJP and #JDS joining hands to stage protests against the government’s plan. Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, however, has mounted a strong defense of the initiative, insisting that his administration’s compensation package for landowners is far more generous than what was offered earlier.#DKShivakumar contrasted his government’s approach with that of the previous administration. “The previous government had fixed a price of only ₹25 lakh per acre. However, our government has decided to give more than ₹3 crore per acre,” he declared, stressing that farmers stand to benefit significantly from the revised model. The opposition has accused the government of pushing through the township project at the expense of local communities, calling the land acquisition process unfair. BJP and JD(S) leaders argue that despite the higher compensation, the project threatens livelihoods and represents a large-scale land grab. The government counters that the township will bring infrastructure growth, employment opportunities, and long-term economic benefits to the region. #Hyderabad: Why are students of Hyderabad Central University protesting... against the Telangana Govt? The Govt announced to auction 400 acres of land. Govt claims, the land is no forest nor home to any animals and belongs to the Govt . And Minister for IT Sridhar Babu Duddilla assured in the assembly that no land of the HCU will be touched. Students are fighting against alleged land encroachment in this process. The protesting student say( Verbatim) - "The reality is that the state government is misleading students to think that there is a distinction between University land and government land. It is well aware that the entire University is situated in the land of the state government. It was, in fact, the Congress government under Indira Gandhi that originally allocated 2,300 acres of government land for the University. The grandstanding by the minister-now conveniently celebrated by the Congress-affiliated student organization NSUl-is nothing more than a smokescreen to obscure the government's corporate appeasement and wash their hands off the responsibility to safeguard the university land’.show more

The HYPOCRISY of the BJP leadership has fallen to... new depths. BJP MP from Ranaghat, Jagannath Sarkar declares that if the BJP COMES TO POWER, there will be no borders between INDIA AND BANGLADESH- both nations will become ONE again! On the other hand, the same BJP government including गृहमंत्री कार्यालय, HMO India Amit Shah keeps blaming the West Bengal government for not giving land to “PROTECT” the very BORDERS THEIR OWN MP WANTS TO ERASE! If the BJP truly believes in the nation’s integrity, I challenge BJP Jagat Prakash Nadda to suspend this MP immediately. Their silence will only expose that HE SPOKE WITH THE FULL CONSENT OF TOP LEADERSHIP. This is not nationalism - this is deception. Fooling and humiliating the people of West Bengal in the name of “SIR” has become the BJP’s trademark politics - A dangerous mix of hypocrisy and betrayal! Look at their own words and decide who’s fooling Bengal.👇🏼show more

During the debate on the Anti Paper Leak Bill... in Parliament, while addressing Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi ji, Supriya Sule remarked that Parliament is “not some Karnataka Assembly where hasi mazak is going on.” This was not merely a political jibe. It was an affront to the dignity of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, a constitutional institution that represents over 7 crore Kannadigas and has a proud democratic legacy. It is deeply ironic that the very Opposition which routinely lectures the nation about protecting institutions, federalism and constitutional values has no hesitation in belittling a State Legislature for the sake of scoring political points. Respect for democratic institutions cannot be selective or convenient. The INDIA alliance and the Congress owe the people of Karnataka an unconditional apology. Karnataka’s Assembly is not a punchline for Parliament debates. Every constitutional institution deserves equal respect, whether in Delhi or Bengaluru. BJP | BJP Karnataka | R. I extend my support and solidarity to Telangana BJP... State President Shri N Ramchander Rao, who is undertaking a 48-hour hunger strike to fight for the rights of students in Telangana. The Congress government’s refusal to even permit a peaceful, democratic protest at Dharna Chowk is a clear reflection of its authoritarian approach. The Revanth Reddy government is jeopardising the future of nearly 40 lakh students across the state. With around ₹15,000 crore in fee reimbursement dues still pending, students are unable to obtain their certificates and are being deprived of opportunities for higher education and employment. Nearly three years after Congress came to power, its Six Guarantees remain as unfulfilled promises. The ₹5 lakh “Vidya Bharosa Card” promised to students has disappeared without a trace, while the promise of free electric scooters for college-going women students has also been put on the back burner. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, who travels across the country speaking about student issues, appears unable to hear the cries of students in Congress-ruled Telangana. When the Revanth Reddy government has completely neglected the education sector and is failing students in Telangana, why has Rahul Gandhi remained silent? I demand that the Congress government wake up and immediately release the pending fee reimbursement dues. Until these issues are resolved, the BJP will stand firmly with students and continue its fight on their behalf until the very end. BJP Telanganashow more

EPS has become the embodiment of the saying: “Thaanum... padukka maattaar, thalliyum padukka maattaar!” When EPS allotted losing seats to the BJP in an attempt to finish the party for good in Tamil Nadu, he believed he could form an ADMK government with a simple majority and permanently marginalize the BJP as a political force. It backfired spectacularly! Today, he is not even the Leader of the Opposition. After doing virtually nothing for 4½ years as the principal Opposition Leader, he tried to project himself as the primary anti-DMK force and expected people to vote for him purely based on the traditional DMK–ADMK five-year cycle. That backfired too. Vijay emerged as the fulcrum of the anti-DMK movement. After his disastrous defeat, instead of acting like a statesman by supporting Vijay, forming a coalition government, and becoming Deputy Chief Minister, EPS allegedly tried to crawl back to the CM’s chair through backdoor negotiations with the DMK. That too backfired. Nobody trusted him. When his CM ambitions collapsed, he reportedly tried to stop his own MLAs from supporting Vijay during the floor test. That backfired as well. His own MLAs have now abandoned him for good. Yet, EPS still does not seem to realise that he has lost his relevance in Tamil Nadu politics. Perhaps it is a toxic combination of ego, insecurity, and an inability to understand the seismic shift taking place in modern politics and the expectations of Gen Z voters. I think even many of his hardcore supporters may privately admit today that EPS has become the living embodiment of the phrase: “Thaanum padukka maattaar, thalliyum padukka maattaar!”show more

Law and order in Karnataka has become a thing... of the past since Congress took over the state. Appeasement politics is on the rise, giving radicals a free rein to pelt stones at police stations, burn them down, attack police personnel, and ransack police vehicles. Despite these incidents, the CM of Karnataka comes out blaming the police personnel. Can appeasement get any worse? Karnataka, once an hub of investors, is now a safe haven for terrorists, drug addicts, and the corrupts. While the state is in such disarray, the government seems more concerned about who writes what on Twitter and sends police to arrest those civilians. No action was taken against those who pelted stones at the police station and police personnel, but the police force was sent to arrest Harish Poonja ಹರೀಶ್ ಪೂಂಜ for being the voice of BJP karyakarthas.show more

Strongly condemn the behaviour of Youth Congress leaders at... the BJP State Office. What were the police doing when Youth Congress leaders were burning an effigy of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and painting the BJP office gate black? Is the intelligence system in Telangana even functioning? When the BJP State Office is being attacked in broad daylight, are the police simply watching? Are they working at the behest of the Congress? Don’t the police have a responsibility to protect the state office of a national political party located in the heart of Hyderabad? The police must answer for this failure. Congress leaders should not mistake our patience for weakness. If we decide to respond, Youth Congress leaders won’t be able to move around freely. Those responsible must be arrested and brought before the law by this evening. Otherwise, our response will go beyond what the Youth Congress has done today. If BJYM workers decide to act, Youth Congress leaders won’t be able to move around freely. The Congress leadership must respond immediately. Otherwise, BJP workers will lay siege to Congress offices across the state. The State Government will be held responsible for the consequences that follow.show more

Sanjiv Goenka had earlier identified the Urban Land Ceiling... framework as a major obstacle to industrialisation and large-scale private investment in West Bengal, noting that the state was among the few still enforcing these restrictive provisions. In a significant policy shift, the State Budget presented by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and Finance Minister Swapan Dasgupta has placed industrial revival at the centre of Bengal’s growth agenda. The government has committed to re-examining the Urban Land Ceiling Act to attract mega private investments and accelerate industrial development. This move signals a recognition of the reforms needed to improve ease of doing business, build industrial infrastructure, and position West Bengal as a preferred destination for domestic and global investors. If implemented effectively, it could lay the foundation for a more competitive, investment-driven economy and bring the vision of a Viksit Bengal closer to reality.show more

West Bengal Police has arrested a shooter from Uttar... Pradesh in connection with the murder of Chandranath Rath, PA to Suvendu Adhikari. The accused, Raj Singh, is a resident of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh. In this video, Raj Singh can be seen campaigning for a BJP candidate, and in the accompanying picture, a minister from the Uttar Pradesh government is seen placing a protective hand on his shoulder. I had already suspected that the BJP could be involved in this matter. If an impartial investigation is conducted under the supervision of the court, many big BJP faces may get exposed.show more

Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, It is with a heavy... heart that I write this letter, not merely in my capacity as a senior leader of the BRS Party, but more importantly as a concerned citizen of this great nation. I wish to bring to your attention that the Congress government in Telangana appears to be operating not by the principles of Baba Saheb’s Constitution, but by the arbitrary exercise of power. The anti-constitutional actions of the Telangana Congress Government, which has trampled humanity and justice under the bulldozer, have now been exposed before the country. Today's High Court observations with respect to the Musi Riverfront and HYDRA issues are a stark reminder of this. The bulldozer has become a symbol of your Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s “unbridled power,” continuously undermining civil rights with arrogance. The bulldozer, which is being used to establish a ‘rule of fear’ under the pretense of the HYDRA and Musi Riverfront projects, is targeting the homes of poor and middle-class families who have lived in these areas for decades, with all legal documentation in place. This "bulldozer policy" has become the face of the Telangana Congress government’s cruelty. The rule of law—one of the foremost political ideals that establishes the supremacy of law in modern society—is being disregarded by your party’s Chief minister. Originally, bulldozers were invented over 100 years ago to build homes, offices, roads, and other infrastructure. However, much like the BJP has misused bulldozers against the poor and middle class in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam, and Maharashtra, the Congress appears to be following their lead in Telangana. Without conducting adequate surveys before demolition, and in spite of a recent Supreme Court verdict, the Congress government in Telangana is adopting bulldozer tactics without following proper procedural guidelines. In light of these circumstances, I humbly urge you to advise your party’s Chief minister to uphold the rule of law and follow the principles of natural justice enshrined in the Constitution of India. With regards, T. Harish Rao Former Minister, MLA, Siddipet BRS Partyshow more
