A fire broke out in a private bus in... Malad East on Tuesday morning.The incident occurred at 10.01 am. Passengers were immediately evacuated from the bus as flames engulfed the vehicle. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 10.33 am. No injuries were reported in the incident. I recently travelled on an APSRTC bus after a... long time, and this is the pathetic situation passengers are forced to face in the rain. Hello N Chandrababu Naidu & Lokesh Nara, nobody asked for free bus services in the state But when you charge ₹1,100+ for a ticket and still provide service like this, what exactly are passengers paying for? If APSRTC cannot even provide basic safety, comfort and maintenance, then shut it down and let private players operate. At Paradise Signal in Hyderabad, a young woman pleaded... with the driver of TSRTC bus TG 10 T2206 (route 10H) to open the door in the rain. Other passengers also requested it, but the driver used rude language and refused. Even the female conductor did not help. The driver was even hurling bad words at her. Why are they so rude? A seven-year-old boy died after his neck got trapped... in the hydraulic door of a parked bus at a garage in Gujarat's Vadodara, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday evening at a garage on the outskirts of Vadodara. The child, identified as Divyesh Rathwa, was playing near the garage when he entered the parked bus. According to police, the bus was stationary when its door suddenly closed, trapping the boy by his neck. Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhishek Gupta said the circumstances were being investigated and that an accidental death report had been registered. Divyesh lived with his parents, who work as labourers, in accommodation behind the garage. According to the police, the child was playing in the area before the incident. Another account of the incident said Divyesh had left his home telling his mother that he was going to the market. When he did not return, his family began looking for him. The search eventually led them to the bus, where the boy was found trapped in the door. Police said CCTV footage from the garage captured what happened next. The footage showed two men who were present at the garage attempting to rescue the child. They pushed the bus door open after noticing that Divyesh was trapped. By then, however, the boy had lost consciousness. He was taken to a hospital in an unconscious condition. Doctors examined him but declared him dead. The police investigation is continuing.show more

What happens when an autonomous robotaxi gets into an... accident? So far, nothing. Yesterday, I rode in a Zoox robotaxi and got hit by an RTC bus in front of New York New York. The Zoox was trying to turn right into New York New York on Tropicana Avenue just after crossing Las Vegas Boulevard and the bus was trying to get over to make its stop. What I saw, was the RTC bus merging into the front left of the Zoox robotaxi and then a crunching sound followed by a grinding sound. Pretty sure it was the RTC bus at fault. Impact detected. The Zoox robotaxi stayed in place while a warning popped up on the user display. Zoox support came over the in-car speaker and asked if I was okay and then eventually had me exit the vehicle at the New York New York rideshare area. Then, it just took off. The RTC bus? It also took off. The driver never got out to check to see what happened. Loaded up some passengers and went about the day. Nobody stayed around to file a police report, so I did. The Nevada State Troopers are scratching their heads at what to do here and so am I. Now I have a lot of questions that won’t get answered probably. I am okay and not injured thankfully, just shaken up a bit. As far as riding Zoox again, I feel it is safe to ride and highly recommend trying it out if you haven’t. On a side note: The Zoox took the hit pretty well and I couldn’t see damage when I checked it out. The bus had a nice scrape on its right wheel fender. I will keep you all updated on this.show more

I was miraculously saved sometime in March 1997. That... night, I was going home with my guardian from our shop in Ebute meta area. So we rushed to join a bus that looks like the driver has been working on. The engine was really hot and the driver stupidly put the remaining fuel in his keg on top of the engine. It’s all those 16 sitter bus and 7 lives was ended in the bad incident. We haven’t moved much when the bus caught fire 🔥. Everyone was rushing to get out and some got burnt as they never make it out and that includes my aunt, aunty mi Bisi! My aunt got burnt along with her little beautiful boy, papa! Whom she’s was carrying on her back. I was in the last seat in the back and the bus had all this burglary windows. The fire was becoming much, then one spirit told me to walk thru it. The sound was very clear in my head and that was how I made it out with some burns on my body but it wasn’t much like that. Please always trust your instincts. We all have our guardian angel that goes everywhere with us. They are those little words that speaks to only and directed to you in every situation and moment we find ourselves in !!! Look at how American children live! I filmed this... on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children! A tragic accident occurred in the Dominican Republic last... evening. A Gulfstream G200, tail number N318JF, departed La Romana International Airport for Austin, Texas, but declared an emergency after takeoff. The crew attempted to return to LRM, but the jet touched down hard on Runway 29, veered off the runway, and erupted into flames. Both pilots, Erick Javier Diago and Rudy Ghazal, lost their lives. No passengers were on board. Former MLB star Yadier Molina revealed that the aircraft was scheduled to pick up him, his family, and friends in Texas for a trip to Puerto Rico, and offered condolences to the families of the pilots.
