Contextual delete confirmation, prototyped in Figma Why this matters?... Traditional delete modals often break the flow. They interrupt the user's context by pulling them into a separate layer just to confirm an action. On top of that, these modal typically lack a clear visual or spatial association with the element being deleted. The positioning feels arbitrary—detached from the target item—which can create hesitation or uncertainty for the user. To solve these issues, I designed a contextual delete confirmation that appears directly beneath the target element. Unlike traditional modals that pull users out of the flow and feel disconnected from the action they’re confirming, this approach keeps everything in context. By anchoring the confirmation to the element itself, it reinforces the association and reduces cognitive load—users instantly understand what they’re about to delete without losing their place or momentum.show more

Design Engineering Tip: Add friction at the end of... a scroll interaction. When users reach the edge of a scrollable area, the movement should not just stop instantly. A subtle resistance, bounce, or slowdown can make the interface feel more physical and less mechanical. It helps users understand that they reached a boundary without needing extra labels or visual indicators. Used carefully, this can make scrolling feel more natural and closer to how objects behave in the real world.show more

One of the most common mistakes manufacturers make is... relying on engineering logic to shape user behavior, while ignoring how users actually feel. Engineers often believe that as long as a feature exists, moves, or looks different, users will appreciate it. Users, however, care about something much simpler: whether the experience feels natural, refined, and intuitive. Great user experience is never created by stacking options. It is created by coherence and emotional consistency. Samsung’s recent update to Lock Star is a clear example. The new version introduces unlock animations that appear to add playfulness, yet the real experience feels disappointing. Many of these animations come across as childish, low level, poorly connected, and mechanically rigid. They feel closer to children’s UI effects than something designed for Samsung’s broad premium user base. The issue is not the presence of animations themselves. The problem lies in the mindset behind them. These effects are clearly driven by implementation logic rather than user perception. The assumption seems to be that adding visual flair automatically creates delight, while ignoring rhythm, emotional tone, and aesthetic maturity. This reflects a long standing pattern in Samsung’s software design. Random stickers, cartoon like emojis, and decorative elements often appear without a cohesive design language. There is a belief that younger users are attracted to these visuals, yet for Gen Z, such elements often feel outdated, immature, and disconnected from a premium identity. Strong product design allows user experience to constrain engineering decisions. When engineering begins to entertain itself, users quietly begin to disengage. Let's see how far apart Samsung and Xiaomi are.show more

This is what life in the Army is all... about. I am impressed by the confidence of the officers from the Brig down to the Lieutenant - who are participating wholeheartedly without any hesitation alongside the soldiers. It feels like a traditional “Bada Khana” of an Army unit - an occasion celebrated after a victory, whether in sports or professional achievements or on the unit’s Raising Day. Officers eat the same food and share the same camaraderie as the soldiers. Hopefully, no one will label this as a “colonial tradition.”show more

In aeronautics, a spoiler (sometimes called a lift spoiler)... is a device which intentionally reduces the lift component of an airfoil in a controlled way. Most often, spoilers are plates on the top surface of a wing that can be extended upward into the airflow to spoil the streamline flow. By so doing, the spoiler creates a controlled stall over the portion of the wing behind it, greatly reducing the lift of that wing section. Spoilers differ from airbrakes in that airbrakes are designed to increase drag without disrupting the lift distribution across the wing span, while spoilers disrupt the lift distribution as well as increasing drag.show more

The US knew Israel was going to attack Iran,... and the response would target US assets in the region. This is confirmation that Israel forced the US to attack Iran. The often used argument of "the tail don't wag the dog" does is not true. Israel has total control over the US, they can do it through overt orders or forcing the hands of the US, knowing the US government would not retaliate. OFFICIAL: It has been 134 days since the release... of Totenreich, which is longer than the search for both Samantha's Drawing, and Gong COMBINED. With the release of s6 next week, it felt fitting to use our platform to get as many eyes on it as possible. As a quick disclaimer, just because things have been 'tested' does not mean it is not the solve. This post is also not an invitation to share your personal thoughts on datamining/leaks. This relic, by everything shown in the game files, can NOT be datamined: "Even in the current state of the game, relics are a lot harder to solve via datamining and ingame hack tools... For relics, only the sequential item ones (like Dancing Arnie and Agarthan device) are incredibly easy. Agarthan device with the helmet, radio, and mr peeks is actually the easiest. Dancing Arnie becomes hard due to it becoming a kill challenge for the lobster and you cant datamine that". Because of that, the leading theory is that the missing piece has to be something kill condition related, or player action related. Below is literally all of the information I could find on the belt that I thought was worth mentioning, to try and help the community solve this together. CONFIRMED: There is a magazine with a sticker of Mr Peeks holding a Geiger Counter that has a pickup interaction, and is located at the top of the lighthouse while you are picking up the Jotunn Star. This only appears in cursed mode, and appears without any relics active. Considering the only other grim relic (power switch) is solved, we know this mag fits in with the wrestlers belt in some way. The sticker comes directly from intel located on Paradox Junction. THEORIES: Treyarch Dev Tweet - One Treyarch dev tweeted out: "It feels very fitting this is the final unsolved relic given the reward... good luck" Coda Wallbuy Sounds - In a video, a user hears a distinct ding sound when buying ammo off of the coda wall buy in spawn. This has been difficult to replicate, but has been replicated by the original user. Disappearing Boxes - There are 7 boxes around the map that have a hit box, and disappear when hit/shot (they disappear fast with melee macchiato). Currently it is believed by the majority of the community that this is nothing Clocks - There are five clocks near Richtofen's office. Dataminers have said "The hour, minute and second hands are all separate individual models stacked on top of the base model. lol I mean it could mean something or it could just be nothing. Their design choices on some stuff is weird But it is a model without a script and isn’t setup to move in any way" Swordfish - The mag located at the top of the lighthouse is the same model of a mag from the Swordfish A1. Some people believe that is a hint for the swordfish being needed from the box in order to complete the relic. Here are links to a spreadsheet managed by one community member that has things that community members have tested directly. Feel free to look through it, and see if you have an idea that has not already been tested: If you are interested in hunting this with other community members, please feel free to join the Mystery and ZoneX discords, as many of the community is hunting throughout there regularly. This presents a perfect opportunity to highlight our study.... The contrast in contextual awareness is striking—while the left recognizes and can demonstrate that these border measures already existed, the right remains largely uninformed. Instead, they celebrate a supposed victory, unaware that they are being misled. The repetition of these narratives within their echo chamber creates a powerful illusory truth effect, where even blatant falsehoods begin to feel like undeniable truths. No one within their sphere corrects them, and we’re dismissed outright—just “libtards,” after all. But what happens when Fox News refuses to acknowledge reality? When their followers mindlessly echo those talking points here? The cycle continues, reinforcing deception under the guise of truth. Eventually they get to the point of the last video. The confidence…and they’re wrong about 90% of the time because they’re not being told the truth.show more

The Australian government does not deserve our trust, or... our respect. Today, Minister Penny Wong sat back in her chair grappling for words, desperately looking for the right lie to tell. It is worse than dishonest - it is an absolute lack of care. Penny Wong came to this country when she was 8 years old. She came to a country that afforded her the ability to become who she is, and she is now doing her part to destroy it. Back in the 70’s, when she came, Australia was a fair-minded place and a great place to be. Yet here she is... Here in Australia. Undermining our country and lying to our faces. Because she can’t tell the truth. Because if she did, it would destroy any semblance of care for Australia tied to her old party’s Labor brand. It would say the quiet part out loud. The truth. The truth that the Albanese government is more interested in the fortunes of the ISIS brides, women who chose to leave this country to go and fight against our people, than those of us that can’t find or afford a place to live here at home. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less. People that are elected and paid to operate in the national interest but always put their twisted ethics and back pockets ahead of our nation and our people. I don’t know when Labor stopped caring about Australian workers or worse, when they started hating Australia, but they have and they do. The absolute lack of opposition, the lack of authentic choice has pushed us into a place where these absolute traitors to the interests of the people who pay them - goes entirely unchecked. We are careening out of control, unchecked migration, an energy grid that is just about to collapse, no industry to speak of, and no good reason to start or maintain a business in this place. It happened fast, but those of us who pay our taxes and take risks to make Australia a better place, are being undermined and white-anted by our politicians. The people we are forced to trust, and must pretend to respect, because they have the force of law on their side. Not because they are any good at their jobs. Not because they have earned our affection. No. Simply because they are in charge and there is little to nothing that can be done about it. It is becoming apparent that the two party system has outlived its useful life. Too much corruption, too many words too carefully chosen in a pantomime between to political forces that don’t really want to change anything. They just want to have their go, to have their turn to jam their grubby hands into the till. Surely with this major and catastrophic failure by the so-called Honourable Minister Senator Wong, the people will be able to see through the veil and into the absolute and irresponsible lack of care at the heart of this deceitful Labor government. They lie about everything, and they can, because they don’t have an opposition worthy of the title. I am growing more confident by the day that the only solution to our woes is a new political force, a fresh, Australia first force, that will act in the national interest and put all these corrupt and useless used-car salesmen red and blue in the dustbin of history. It can’t come soon enough. Time is short. I just want Australia back.show more

“I repeat, Kill the Boer, the Farmer”, how can... anyone in their right mind say this is not incitement of violence, not even mentioning hate speech? These guys feel nothing for South Africa! After this week and everything that happened with the presidents US visit, these breakers continued with their hate in Koppies in the Free State province this weekend. This is again another element that makes a farm attack a unique crime. It is the only violent crime in South Africa that is celebrated by song, hateful political rhetoric and welcomed on social media. The singing of this hateful song has never been publicly condemned by the South African government. (To a certain extent in Washington this week, only after being cornered?)show more

Hexagons and Octagons Those who follow football and coaching... will be well aware that there are trends that emerge and become the great break through in coaching, only to vanish quite quickly. A few stick around and become a staple. Such as the rondo, or the 4v4+4 Guardiola rondo variation. One that did not stick around in the coaching collective consciousness that possible should have was Thomas Tuchel’s use of hexagonal and octagonal playing areas in training sessions. Tuchel explained that cutting off the corners and angling the pitch forced “sharp diagonal” passes that would help break the press. The positioning of players outside the hexagon/octagon or players close to the edges will be manipulated into an open body shape by the angles of the pitch. Players are impacted by environmental constraints and embodied cognition, where the geography of the playing area influences their actions. This influence spreads to the creation of triangles and diamonds within the playing area due to the “funnel” like nature of the playing area. We can use the cut outside angles by placing bounce or target players on the exterior, influencing the movement and organisation internally. The inside players will not have to move wide as those areas are occupied. The internal players will seek to create passing angles using the positioning of the outside players and their internal team mates. The diamonds and triangles will appear. If we leave the spaces on the outside empty players can move to fill the spaces. These act as free spaces to receive from the goalkeeper or open spaces for attackers to overlap into, encouraging attacking combination play and crosses. A different way of using the space is to remove goals and goalkeepers from the ends and place bounce/target players on the outside. Players now can combine with the outside players, when they do so they are then free to finish into the outside goals. The condition can be extended to combining with the target player in the opposite side of the pitch before scoring, adding an element of switching play. The hexagon and octagon are versatile spaces that help to replicate aspects of the game. By funneling the spaces we impact players body shape, ability to play forward quickly, team shape (or small group shapes), players cutting in, defending centrally, the types of combination used and the angles of line breaking pass (diagonals). The angles are hugely significant for teams that value combinations and possession football, Straight passes and receiving angles are much easier to intercept and carry high risks for being counter attacked. Short diagonals can bypass players and attacking shapes, creating angled connections. If an angles pass is given away there is still a risk of being counter attacked but there is more chance of having players around the ball to regain possession. To counter press. The question that emerges is should we then be using hexagons and octagons more? If they are of greater benefit than squares and rectangles, why use them? Should all pitches, including those of a small sided nature be hexagonal? Can the rondo square be replaced by the rondo octagon?show more

So, my opinion on what the Antarctic (Antarctica) Anomaly... is that it's a type of frequency technology. It must be way more powerful than HAARP, as many have claimed it to be, because we would see these anomalies at other HAARP sites, and we don't, not like this. With that said, and I'm very much trying to avoid letting what I want it to be not play a part here, I think it is a technology that is being used either off the coast of Antarctica itself or Bouvet Island. A third possibility is an area just to the northwest of the island that looks odd. It's possible it is a sonar scan from a ship, but why in that remote location? It looks like an antenna set up or rows of something that is out of place. I also believe that the weather events and fires that have taken place in Africa could possibly have been because of this. Each time we saw the anomaly, it was followed by a destructive weather event in Africa. A weird connection to that is we have been told and warned of a very busy 2024 Atlantic hurricane season. This is in part because of the above-average Atlantic ocean temperatures, which is the fuel to Hurricanes. With all this info, it's possible to see how the Anomaly could be a frequency tech that can manipulate or create weather, And or WARM up the Ocean temps to purposely enhance the Hurricane season and Storm growth. Keep in mind that many of our hurricanes and many of the biggest hurricanes have come from the west coast of Africa and form over the Cape Verde islands before heading towards the Caribbean and the United States. This is all of course speculation, and I'm learning many new things every day, so this idea may morph over time as we learn more. In the end, it is very hard to ignore all these findings. #antarctica #anonaly #AntarcticaAnomaly #BouvetIslandshow more

Ignoring pivotal, game-changing evidence is often described as a... “limited hangout” because the goal isn’t to prove a false story—it’s to control what the audience is allowed to conclude. Give enough to seem honest: Limited hangouts typically releases some details that check out or feel credible. But it does so while **withholding the few pieces that would actually change the overall picture**. Change the audience’s decision-making, not just the facts: If the withheld evidence would force a different interpretation (motive, timeline, identity of a key actor, causation, intent), then not sharing it keeps people operating on the wrong framework. Make contradictions look like “missing context,” not deception: By selectively omitting the most consequential documents/data, the rest of the information can be made to look merely incomplete, so critics fight over peripheral details instead of reaching the correct core conclusion. Create a “good-faith” filter. If someone tries to follow the trail, they keep encountering partial records, gaps, or deflections: That friction discourages them from locating or integrating the pivotal evidence that would collapse the narrative. The Result: people form beliefs without knowing they’re missing the key, pivotal inputs. In this case, the HADES presence, and the UAVs. The public ends up with a semi-coherent story, but it’s not fully coherent because the “game changing” evidence, the evidence that would force revision, is absent from the data they’re using. How many more years will Candace avoid the UAVs, and why? What is the good reason for avoiding or ignoring pivotal, game-changing evidence? There isn't one.show more

This fact absolutely shatters evolution. ...And makes the intelligent... design in Life certain. All the systems in Life that make things function - like everything that enables birds to fly - require a whole set of complex interconnected parts. Nothing works in isolation. Something evolutionists overlook is how the nature of all these systems are intricately interconnected. Every part relies on something else to make it work. You need the whole system, down to the DNA itself, or the function fails. This coordinattion between so many systems makes step-by-step evolution all but impossible. For instance... A wing isn’t just bones and feathers (or membrane). A wing requires a certain type of hollow bones, which the alleged ancestors of birds didn't have. And wings by themselves are useless - what reproductive benefit would wings have without the accompanying systems that lead to actual flight (the simultaneous requirements for bone pneumatization, muscle attachment sites, feather or membrane development, and the regulatory changes that control all of them)? Wings without these features would be harmful. Hollow bones without flight would be detrimental. The step-by-step path leading from non-bird to flying birds is filled with easily killed, unselectable intermediates. This is where evolutionists constantly fail - they look at modification in isolation, without considering that these systems are large, interconnected networks of functional parts all working together. And it all starts at the genetic level, from the DNA itself. DNA genes code for proteins. Regulatory information organizes when these proteins are built and how much should be made. Further regulatory systems coordinate where these proteins go after they’re built. And yet more informational networks place the proteins into the final system in coordination with other proteins. Then these protein systems are fit together to make entire organs, tissues, bones, etc. All of these systems and processes are coordinated from the DNA - which means major modification like turning a fish fin into a bird wing requires many coordinated DNA changes across the entire network. One change at a time simply cannot lead to the coordination of an entire multi-part coordinated system like this. A mutation that changes one protein would need another coordinated mutation to fit that mutated protein into the right place, which would require other proteins to be mutated to fit together into that system, which would also require yet more regulatory mutations to keep everything coordinated... Nothing works in isolation. It's all connected. Which is why it can't evolve one step at a time. One step at a time does nothing. Life requires all or nothing systems. Only intelligence can engineer all or nothing systems.show more

While the US finally had a break from tornadoes,... it was CANADA that surprised many when it dropped a wedge tornado near Shoal Lake, Manitoba yesterday evening. In this radar loop, you can see where this tornado's origins came from starting with the outflow boundary (the line of weak reflectivity values the storm pops out from to the east of the radar site). Outflow boundaries concentrate extreme low-level rotation and force rapid upward motion, such that when supercells interact with these boundaries, the pre-existing spin can be stretched into tornadoes. These can happen super fast, and it remains something we don't fully understand. In the span of 30 minutes, we went from there being no discernible storm to there being a wedge on the ground, without a mesocyclone or a nudger. What is even more amazing is that despite Canada's radars being lower-resolution compared to what we have in the US, you can still quite clearly see the hook echo and the eventual debris ball that forms on reflectivity. Luckily, no injuries or fatalities have been confirmed from this tornado at this time.show more

Trans-identified males are obsessed with the notion that they... will be raped or abused if they use male spaces. The reason for this obsession is that, more often than not, they are using porn that depicts women being bound and / or assaulted (or men 'forcibly' transformed into women by way of sexual abuse), which they find sexually thrilling. It is a masochistic humiliation fetish. Such men see being a woman as something humiliating. (And by the time they begin "identifying" as a little girl, they've already consumed a substantial amount of BDSM content.) When these concepts are repeated in the media, the result is not only to validate the fetish, but also to humiliate women, by proxy, for the pleasure of men with this fetish.show more
