Chaotic scenes unfolded outside Milimani Law Courts on Tuesday... as police moved in to disperse a growing crowd that had gathered, partly in support of detained software developer Rose Njeri and for a separate, politically charged corruption case involving Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya. Among those caught up in the commotion was popular activist Julius Kamau, who was briefly accosted by uniformed officers in what appeared to be an attempt to arrest or eject him from the scene. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of the court premises, another man was roughly apprehended by plainclothes officers.show more

A bright summer afternoon sets the stage on a... lively outdoor tennis court where a talented young blonde tennis player confidently competes in a friendly match against a young boy opponent. Dressed in a stylish baby pink tennis outfit featuring subtle McDonald's branding, she moves gracefully across the court as spectators cheer from the stands. Made by using Nano Banana 2 + Seedance 2.0 on Renoise Part 1 Prompt (First ~15 seconds) Create the first 15 seconds of a fun, energetic McDonald's commercial. Bright sunny outdoor tennis court with green hard court, white lines, net, spectator stands filled with audience in chairs watching the match, natural daylight, premium cinematic sports-ad style. Strict Character Consistency: Same beautiful Western woman throughout — exact face, fair skin tone, long wavy blonde hair in a sporty ponytail with soft strands flowing, fresh natural makeup with glowing skin and glossy lips. She wears a cute babypink tennis-style polo dress with small white embroidered McDonald's golden arches logo on the chest, matching babypink visor/cap, white sports socks, and white sneakers. Perfect fabric physics and athletic movement. Camera: Slow premium cinematic movements — elegant tracking, smooth orbits, gentle push-ins, rack focus. Scenes: Wide establishing shot: She is playing tennis against a young boy opponent on the other side of the net. Audience seated in stands watching supportively. Macro close-up on her focused eyes (natural blink, intense concentration). Slow pull-back showing her athletic form swinging the tennis racket. Dynamic rally: She moves confidently, hits the ball with power and grace. Camera orbits elegantly around her. Crowd cheering. In the middle of her forehand shot, another person (not the opponent) walks along the side of the court holding a McDonald's paper bag and eating golden fries. She suddenly notices, gets distracted, misses the shot, and has a surprised hungry smile. Ultra-photorealistic, flawless continuity, realistic hair/fabric/sweat details, natural tennis motion, soft depth of field. Ambient sounds: tennis ball hits, crowd cheers, breeze, and upbeat music. Part 2 Prompt (Last ~15 seconds) Continue exactly from Part 1 with 100% identical Western woman, same sporty ponytail, same babypink McDonald's tennis dress and cap, same tennis court, audience, boy opponent, lighting, and cinematic style. Strict Character & Continuity Consistency: No changes to appearance or outfit. Camera: Same premium slow cinematic movements. Scenes: She pauses the match, smiles, and walks curiously toward the person holding the McDonald's bag (who is casually eating fries). Macro close-up on the crispy golden McDonald's fries. She reaches out, takes one fry, and takes a big satisfying bite with a delighted, eyes-closed happy expression. Steam and texture visible. Quick cut back: Boy opponent and supportive audience smiling. A calm white horse stands peacefully near the stands in the background. Final iconic shot: She stands happily on the tennis court, holding a fry, looking joyful toward camera. Gentle breeze on her hair and dress. Slow push-in to perfect hero framing. Clean fade to white with McDonald's logo and "I'm Lovin' It" tagline. Ultra-photorealistic, mouthwatering food details, realistic crowd and tennis environment, flawless continuity. Warm upbeat score with piano, strings, and happy jingle. #RenoiseChallengeshow more

#SaveSnuggles Update I'll be spending much of today working... behind the scenes to bring media attention to Snuggles' story. One thing I want supporters to understand is that a lot of advocacy work doesn't happen on social media. While posts and shares are VERY IMPORTANT, there are also phone calls, emails, media outreach, interviews, press materials, conversations with reporters, and other efforts happening behind the scenes that most people never see. For those who are just learning about Snuggles: Snuggles is a 2-year-old livestock guardian dog belonging to a military veteran and his family in Tucson, Arizona. He lives with his mom, dad, and two young boys who love him dearly. Following a first-time bite incident on his own property, Snuggles was taken from his family and has now spent nearly 8 months in a shelter. His family has been charged more than $15,000 in boarding fees while fighting to save him. The bite victim was the children's grandmother, and she is actively supporting Snuggles and asking that he be returned home. Despite all of this, Snuggles is facing a court ordered euthanasia. Today I'm asking everyone following this page to do just ONE thing. Please make one phone call or send one email to Steve Kozachik, Director of Pima Animal Care Center. Be respectful. Be professional. Let him know people across the country are paying attention to Snuggles' case and asking for compassion, transparency, and alternatives to euthanasia. 📞 (520) 724-5900 📧 [email protected] If hundreds of people take two minutes out of their day, it can make a difference. The video attached to this post is especially difficult to watch. You'll see Snuggles' two boys singing a song for their "Sergeant Snuggles." While many people see a court case, these boys see their best friend. Thank you to everyone who is standing with this family and helping us fight to bring Snuggles home. #SaveSnugglesshow more

Sometimes we take for granted those who endure pain,... pressure and insults on our behalf. We assume that they should shield us and should safeguard our interests. But the truth is: Gen Nhlanhla #Mkhwanazi didn’t have to do anything. He could have easily chosen the path so many took: silence. Many have jumped over bodies to get ahead, presided over rot and injustice and buried the truth out of fear of backlash and scrutiny. Mkhwanazi has already acted as National Commissioner at his prime. There is nothing novel or glamorous about the position for him. If he ever returns to that seat, we can ne sure it would be for one reason only, to fix the policing system because it won't be a new thing to him. You can’t, therefore, convince me that a well-paid, highly skilled man would be excited about a role he already acted in some 12 years ago and voluntarily resigned. Financially, he would still thrive if the system pushed him out. He’s young, energetic, capable and marketable enough to walk into another leadership role tomorrow. But this job‼️ This calling is not about only money for him. It’s his passion, his heartbeat, his whole life, his sense of purpose. Communities, grieving families and distressed SAPS members, their struggles become his pain. You heard the testimomy from PKTT members. You saw him jump to publicly defend Gen Khumalo & co who are being victimized infront of all of us. You see it when he is on the ground: whether comforting a bereaved family in Highflats, engaging troubled communities in Inanda, or calming tensions in Dukuduku. He connects with people naturally. He speaks to their souls. He explains honestly and plainly, what happens when police lose operational control and how communities should support or collaborate. Contrary to Gen Cele's exaggerated theatrics, Mkhwanazi listens and make no promises on the spot, but simply delivers results a few weeks later. And he follows through. Look at the families he meets in court. Ask AKA’s father. Many Provincial Commissioners leave everything to Investigating Officers while they sit in air-conditioned offices and pretend to have important meetings everyday. Witness B (the female detective?) told the Madlanga Commission how she and a colleague were harassed by Katiso Molefe’s supporters when he appeared in court. You ask yourself: where were the top leaders when these young detectives needed protection and moral support during the court appearance of a feared criminal?🧐 But Mkhwanazi shows up. He makes time. He goes to crime scenes. He briefs the media on crime scenes. He goes to court. We have seen him in the evenings in t-shirt at 2am, another day he was in rainsuits giving media interviews out in the rain, when tje body of Olorato Mongale's murderer was being transported away, Mkhwanazi was standing outside the building, looking all puffed up and exhausted, evidence that he probably was woken up at midnight and rushed to stand with his team at the scene. It’s not magic. It’s leadership. Pure instinct. A natural trait you cannot teach. People like this are rare—few and far between. They operate at a higher vibration, driven by a purpose larger than themselves. They aren’t angels, and they are not always easy to work with. Their drive pushes everyone around them to rise higher, to realise their own capability. And one day, when you look back, you realise that crossing paths with them was the highlight of your own journey. Nobody wants a difficult path in life but people of purpose go ahead anyway because they have weighed the price of silence against the cost to the badge, the oath, the flag, the nation, its people, and the generations to come. Some are wired with a fire that burns stronger than fear. They themselves don’t even know why, they just know it’s who they are. They cannot stand by and watch the country slide off a cliff. Such people exist among us. When they gather the courage to stand up, we must show up for them, fully.show more

Dear KCB Group Plc These are scenes we can... avoid if only you approach your customers with empathy and in a professional manner. You had good times and you don't throw your client under the bus when they need you most. This is happening at world award winning Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa in Galu Diani. The owner Alnoor Kanji a very good friend and long time hotelier is one brave Kenyan who chose to be visionary and invested in a project that was adopted as a vision 2030 project The English Point Marina in Mombasa which finally went into administration. How it was done is one of the saddest thing and the matter is now court hence I will NOT delve too much into it. During the takeover the elderly mother of the owner ( she needed emotional care) was not even allowed to meet her son since he was locked out upon his return from his overseas travel. She finally passed away a few weeks after that dramatic takeover . The same owner is currently out of the country and you have found it fit to make a move for another of his property which is PinewoodBeachResort Pinewood Beach Resort that he has been passionately running with amazing scores as evidence. I have seen put love and care into the jewel in Galu Diani. You choose to physically move in during a peak period when the hotel is fully booked , you never saw the need to do that when it was quite and low season in May & June. To make matters worse your receiver manager is going physically against the young sons of the owner . Is that the way to handle a client? suppose the 200 members of staff who depend on this resort for a living went physical ? Doing business in this country is NOT for the faint-hearted and the least you can is to handle your clients in a humane way and also agree on modalities on how to service a loan etc. What is the use of throwing out the baby with the bathwater ? Matter is in court please allow the process to go full circle and also get profesional level headed receiver managers and not this type who are going physical. On behalf of Diani Hospitality Owners I condemn this violent act and law will also take its course since this qualifies as assault. It's a known known that banks in Kenya are good undertakers of businesses in distress and I am challenging you to make this move an exception rather than the rule. As always I choose to remain an optimist hence Pinewood Beach Resort deserve a better treatment. Mohammed Hersi Chairman Diani Hospitality Owners Association.show more

‼️🎙️ Great interview from Carlos Alcaraz today at the... Princesa de Girona CongresFest in Murcia, where he spoke a lot about consistency, discipline, and the daily work that goes into the trophies: ❔ “Today we’ve been hearing people talk about research, innovation, exploration… You revolutionized tennis at a very young age. What do you think is behind that ability to keep improving constantly?” 🗣️ Carlos: “Well, I think it’s the desire to learn. When you realize there’s still so much for you to improve, so much for you to learn, in my case, in the world of tennis… in the end you’re competing against players who also want to improve in order to beat you, who want to put themselves in the best possible position. And that’s what motivates you, or at least what motivates me, to keep improving, to keep up with the level of tennis and also keep up with the rate at which my rivals are improving.” ❔ “In elite sport, just like in science and entrepreneurship, a very important part is knowing how to push beyond your own limits. So my question is: what values have been most important in helping you develop that throughout your journey?” 🗣️ “I think consistency. Day-to-day consistency, trying to give your best every single day. “In the end, people probably see the matches, the tournaments, the victories and defeats, but you also have to place a lot of value on what happens behind the scenes: the work you put in every day. “I think that’s the most important thing: going every day, in my case, to the tennis court or the gym with tremendous excitement about trying to give the best of myself, trying to improve so that later it shows on the court. “That consistency of taking things day by day, of trying to control everything necessary to be in the best possible condition when it’s time to compete - that’s what motivates me. And it’s what I value most now in the position I’m in. I’m grateful to the version of myself from six or seven years ago for having done everything possible every single day.” ❔ “People see the trophies and the victories, but they don’t see the work behind them because it’s invisible. What advice would you give to young people, and to all of us, about discipline and consistency, so we can understand how someone like you keeps going?” 🗣️ “Above all, patience. “When I was 14 years old, I had zero patience. I wanted things overnight. I wanted results immediately. Personally, I hate losing at anything, even back there. So I always wanted to win, I wanted everything to work out perfectly, I wanted things to go exactly right. But I think what I’d tell young people is to have patience. “The beautiful thing is the process. It’s the journey. It’s going to a competition or doing something that truly fills you with pride and then seeing that it doesn’t work out. “You fail but what matters is how you get back up, how you come back the next day and try again. “That’s the beautiful part, and that’s the advice I’d give to young people: be patient, enjoy the journey, enjoy what you’re doing, because one day you’ll look back, value it, and feel proud of it.”show more

Alright. I’m honestly relieved that this is finally coming... out, so we can finally put an end to the fairytale conspiracies about March 4, courtesy of Joe Flipperhead and the ratchet harem. Since Aidan and his Dollar-Tree-sidekick Chelsea want to drag March 4th into the public arena, let’s do it properly– with facts, not the fairy tale he’s been feeding everyone. The rumors flying around are completely untrue, and I’ve wanted to defend myself for weeks, but Aidan has spent the last month threatening me, telling people that if the truth ever came out he’d “turn me into the next Lindsey,” that everyone would believe him because he has a platform, and even declaring he’d tell his followers to contact my work. Well, here we are. Since he chose to drag this into the public and sic his ratchet brigade on me, I’m finally telling the actual story. That night wasn’t some dramatic “Meredith tried to send me to jail” moment. It was a drunk, disgusting fight between two adults—the kind Aidan has on rotation with every woman he dates. Both of us were very intoxicated, but he was blackout drunk, verbally abusive, and filming me against my will. I told him to stop. He didn’t. I’d found out about him sexting another girl and had bottled up emotions for months, which is what started the argument. I asked him to leave after he said horrible things to me, including calling me fat and useless, that people only like me because I’m “Turtleboy’s girlfriend”. I asked him to leave and he began recording me, pointing a phone in my face while I repeatedly told him to stop. He lost his own key, and because he couldn’t remember anything, he made up a story that I “stole it.” Imagine spreading this fantasy when I have him on video of me asking him to return MY KEYS? I was uncomfortable, overwhelmed, and didn’t want a drunken fight being filmed. He took our feud out into the common area of my building, disturbing other tenants. So yes, I said “you hit me,” specifically because I believed he wouldn’t share the video if I said that. I said it so he would STOP RECORDING ME, and he has a full video that I clearly say, “I’m only saying that so you’ll stop recording me.” I never reported anything to the police, never intended to, never would. He knows this. We discussed this fact many times the next day and several occasions in the last few months. That context has been deliberately cut out to push a fake narrative, but don’t worry, I’ll be posting the full videos that I took of that night. When he’s threatened me with releasing this very video, he admitted it would be edited out and no one would believe me over him. Meanwhile, the victim cosplay he’s doing now? Pathetic. He claims he was “stuck” in my house. Reality: I asked him to leave over and over. This narrative that he was somehow stuck there held hostage is simply not true. Reality: I have video of him refusing to get out of my bed, not “sleeping on the couch.” Reality: I have video of him screaming at me like a lunatic. Reality: He lost his key because he was hammered, then somehow turned that into me “stealing it.” Reality: He was causing a huge scene in my apartment throwing a literal temper tantrum on the floor. With other tenants in the building, I was genuinely concerned someone would call the police. He also lies that I tried to keep him from court the next day. Reality? I gave him my car so he could get to court. I sat in the passenger seat half-dead from a hangover while chauffeuring Captain Accountability to his court date. I sat next to him during court, then eventually throwing up in a bag on the way home. Then he used that same car to drive to his house for his spare key, and back again. I supported him through the entire aftermath, like I did every time. But now he’s trying to pretend he was some endangered baby deer and I was plotting to Lindsay him? Get real. This narrative that I was somehow trying to get him arrested? An absolutely disgusting lie considering the trauma that situation caused him. Not to mention the countless hours I spent during our 1.5 year relationship assisting with his legal defense to keep him OUT of jail. He knows it’s not true. He knows exactly what happened. Do you really think if his narrative were true, he’d stay with me for months to come and not file his own police report? But he also knows he thrives off playing victim, and he knows he has people willing to believe anything he says without question. Over the last month, behind the scenes with recording gate, he’s been telling me and others that if I ever spoke up, he’d ruin me. That he’d twist the story because he has the bigger platform. That he’d make sure people contacted my job. He has leaked private texts, sent people after me, and used Chelsea, a woman he cheated on me with, to push his manufactured victim narrative. But here’s the truth: Aidan is not the victim of March 5th. He was drunk, verbally abusive, refusing to leave, and escalating a situation he then turned around and weaponized. And like every situation he touches, every feud, every fallout, every “enemy,” every messy disaster, he plays the same role: the powerless victim of consequences he created. At some point, people need to recognize the common denominator. I stayed silent because I didn’t want this ugliness public. I didn’t want to embarrass him. I didn’t want to rehash something painful, private, and humiliating for both of us. But since he chose to send CamelToe Joe and his ratchet harem to post private fights, twist reality, and smear me, I’m done being quiet. Aidan is incapable of having a private relationship and ending. And Chelsea…hun. I know your brain cells are limited, but your "insurance" explanation makes no sense. When did he send you this video? Months after it happened? Why would you need insurance at that point? You’re being used like a scratch-off ticket from Cumberland Farms. He feeds you a cropped video and suddenly you’re Nancy Drew with a nicotine patch? Please. You weren’t even in the picture until after he was done cheating with you. These videos paint a wildly different picture of the fake victim narrative CamelToe Joe has been pushing, huh? I’ll be posting more soon, about the recording, about every single lie he has chosen to spread through his minions the last two months. I guess I was crazy to think Aidan would ever be okay with someone walking away and moving on peacefully. Since Aidan wanted the truth out, he's about to get it. PS- Speaking of men being fake scared of women– Funny how some people with very chaotic personal histories suddenly decide they’re the moral authority on my life, enough so to peddle lies on their large platforms. If I had these kinds of pasts, I'd probably sit this one out, and maybe stop throwing stones from your glass basements and (mom’s) houses.show more

In Remembrance of Hedy Lamarr. Born | November 9,... 1914 in Vienna, Austria. Died | January 19, 2000 aged 85 in Casselberry, Florida, USA. Hedy Lamarr, the woman many critics and fans alike regard as the most beautiful ever to appear in films, was born Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler in Vienna, Austria. She was the daughter of Gertrud (Lichtwitz), from Budapest, and Emil Kiesler, a banker from Lemberg (now known as Lviv). Her parents were both from Jewish families. Hedwig had a calm childhood, but it was cinema that fascinated her. By the time she was a teenager, she decided to drop out of school and seek fame as an actress, and was a student of theatre director Max Reinhardt in Berlin. Her first role was a bit part in the German film Geld auf der Straße (1930) (aka “Money on the Street”) in 1930. She was attractive and talented enough to be in three more German productions in 1931, but it would be her fifth film that catapulted her to worldwide fame. In 1932 she appeared in a Czech film called Ekstase (US title: “Ecstasy”) and had made the gutsy move to appear nude. It's the story of a young girl who is married to a gentleman much older than she, but she winds up falling in love with a young soldier. The film's nude scenes created a sensation all over the world. The scenes, very tame by today's standards, caused the film to be banned by the U.S. government at the time. Hedy soon married Fritz Mandl, a munitions manufacturer and a prominent Austrofascist. He attempted to buy up all the prints of “Ecstasy” he could lay his hands on (Italy's dictator, Benito Mussolini, had a copy but refused to sell it to Mandl), but to no avail (there are prints floating around the world today). The notoriety of the film brought Hollywood to her door. She was brought to the attention of MGM mogul Louis B. Mayer, who signed her to a contract (a notorious prude when it came to his studio's films, Mayer signed her against his better judgment, but the money he knew her notoriety would bring in to the studio overrode any moral concerns he may have had). However, he insisted she change her name and make good, wholesome films. Hedy starred in a series of exotic adventure epics. She made her American film debut as Gaby in Algiers (1938). This was followed a year later by Lady of the Tropics (1939). In 1942, she played the plum role of Tondelayo in the classic White Cargo (1942). After World War II, her career began to decline, and MGM decided it would be in the interest of all concerned if her contract were not renewed. Unfortunately for Hedy, she turned down the leads in both Gaslight (1940) and Casablanca (1942), both of which would have cemented her standing in the minds of the American public. At the beginning of World War II, along with composer George Antheil, Lamarr co-invented a radio guidance system for Allied torpedoes that used spread spectrum and frequency hopping technology to defeat the threat of radio jamming by the Axis powers. This approach, conceptualised as a “Secret Communication System”, was intended to provide secure, jam-resistant communication for weapon guidance by spreading the signal across multiple frequencies. Similar technology was used in operational systems only beginning in 1962, which was well after World War II and three years after the expiry of the Lamarr-Antheil patent. Frequency hopping, which existed and was utilised before the Lamarr-Antheil patent, is a foundational technology for spread spectrum communications. Its principles are utilised for secure wireless networking, including Bluetooth and early versions of Wi-Fi, which use variants of spread spectrum to protect data from interception and interference. In 1949, Hedy Lamarr starred as Delilah opposite Victor Mature's Samson in Cecil B. DeMille's epic Samson and Delilah (1949). This proved to be Paramount Pictures' then most profitable movie to date, bringing in $12 million in rental from theatres. The film's success led to more parts, but it was not enough to ease her financial crunch. She made only six more films between 1949 and 1957, the last being The Female Animal (1957). The 1970s was a decade of increasing seclusion for Lamarr. She was offered several scripts, television commercials, and stage projects, but none piqued her interest. In 1974, she filed a $10 million lawsuit against Warner Bros., claiming that the running parody of her name (“Hedley Lamarr”) in the Mel Brooks comedy Blazing Saddles infringed her right to privacy. Brooks said he was flattered. The studio settled out of court for an undisclosed nominal sum and an apology to Lamarr for “almost using her name”. Brooks said that Lamarr “never got the joke”. In 1981, with her eyesight failing, Lamarr retreated from public life and settled in Miami Beach, Florida. A large Corel-drawn image of Lamarr won CorelDRAW's yearly software suite cover design contest in 1996. For several years, beginning in 1997, it was featured on boxes of the software suite. Lamarr sued the company for using her image without her permission. Corel countered that she did not own rights to the image. The parties reached an undisclosed settlement in 1998. For her contribution to the motion picture industry, Lamarr has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6247 Hollywood Boulevard adjacent to Vine Street where the walk is centered. Lamarr became estranged from her older son, James Lamarr Loder, when he was 12 years old. Their relationship ended abruptly, and he moved in with another family. They did not speak again for almost 50 years. Lamarr left James Loder out of her will, and he sued for control of the US$3.3 million estate left by Lamarr in 2000. He eventually settled for US$50,000. In her later years, Lamarr lived in Altamonte Springs, Florida, before moving to Casselberry, Florida, in the final months of her life. She communicated with family and friends almost exclusively by telephone. However, after moving to Casselberry, two friends who lived nearby would visit her at home to check on her a few times a week. On January 19, 2000, Lamarr was found dead at her home in Casselberry at the age of 85; the cause of death was heart disease. Her son Anthony Loder spread part of her ashes in Austria's Vienna Woods in accordance with her last wishes. In 2014, a memorial to Lamarr was unveiled in Vienna's Central Cemetery. The remainder of her ashes were buried there.show more
