Almost three years ago when I started this journey on X, I wrote “10,000” on a Post-It note and stuck it where I could see it every day. It was a goal. A milestone. A promise to myself. I’ve never used bots. Never joined engagement groups. Never done follow-for-follow. Never manipulated the system. For nearly three years, what you’ve gotten is just me, my creativity, my thoughts, my ideas, my humor, my critiques, my communities, my Spaces, my encouragement when I see you show up on the timeline. X is not an easy platform to grow on. In fact, I think it’s one of the hardest. Building something authentic here takes time, resilience, and thick skin. There have been ups and downs. There have been moments of doubt. Even these last 100 followers have felt like a climb. But I’m still pushing. Because I know I can get there. That Post-It note had other goals on it too. One of them was earning a living here. That hasn’t happened yet. But I still believe it’s possible. I just don’t know when. Through it all, I’ve stayed positive. On Saturday evening a CAT Deputy who also happens... be a Motor Deputy stopped this moped with no plates driving through the snow. The driver works in West Omaha and lives in near Carter Lake. Deputies warned him of the dangers driving his moped on snow packed roads and he agreed but added the moped is his only mode of transportation to work. The driver was given a warning for no proof of ownership and sent on his way home. We all want to make it to work and provide for our families, and it’s hard not to feel for someone who has no other way to get there. While it's not illegal, a two wheeled vehicle on snow-packed roads is very dangerous.show more

When Baby Clyde arrived at the shelter last December... he could barely walk at all. When I adopted him he had already had one surgery on his leg and he walked with a limp. When I first saw videos of sweet little Jimothy, the way he hobbled around reminded me of Baby Clyde and my mom said the same thing. I got Baby Clyde a second surgery on his leg and now he runs, jumps and bunny hops with no problem like a total champion! Baby Clyde is so resilient and a fighter just like Jimothy. I’m in awe of how fast he’s been healing from his trauma and overcoming his medical issues. He inspires me every single day. Be like Baby Clyde and Jimothy. 💕show more

Today’s Episode on being a prayerful full-house husband who... takes care of the home. Yesterday, while my wife was trekking 15 miles home from work, she suddenly developed a running stomach. Before she knew it, she pooed on her gown. And because provision is her shield and I would starve if she doesn’t drop money for food, she left it for me to wash and I washed it. Maybe because it was already cold by the time she got home, I didn’t really enjoy the Jendol’s bread she bought yesterday. And I don’t want to call her to buy Bokku bread and Suya on her way back from work. Now, I have to rack my brains for what we have to eat for dinner, unlike my wife that’s simply just dealing with clients and pressures for deadlines. This thinking of what to cook, putting clothes in the washing machine, cleaning the house and actually taking care of the home remains the most difficult job on earth. I’m also beginning to feel dissatisfied with my provider wife, and even she provides for this home I don’t praise her for it because that’s the bare minimum. I don’t like that she’s not driven enough!!! Her mates are getting promoted at work every year but she’s remained in the same spot for 3 years. I’m sure my feelings are valid. It’s really not easy being the backbone of my successful wife. I pray for her, give her advice, take care of the home and make myself available to have a lot of sex with her.
