Trying out building system. It will not work with... just a recepie from the list but for now it's fine, just testing. Also it's possible to create furniture, but very simple ones, as expected at the beginning.show more

First look at how Modern Warfare 4’s new UI... shows matchmaking. It shows the region, followed by a list of potential lobbies, then which lobby it selects. Nice to have some level of transparency to help judge the system.show more

The backdrop not covering the status bar when opening... a sheet on the web makes it feel... subpar compared to native. So in Silk I baked-in the ability to blend them together by automatically dimming the theme-color in sync with the backdrop opacity. Works with any color (for both the backdrop and the original theme-color), and with stacked backdrops. Only in Safari for now, as perf deteriorates in other browsers.show more

It will be interesting to see how the Activision... team approaches weapon design and lethality in the next Halo. I think it's important to not only stay true to a weapon's aesthetic but also its historic performance. For example, Halo 5 did a great job at capturing both aesthetics and performance for the Halo 2 BR55. Hoping the next team takes some significant time to understand what makes Halo gunplay unique and awesome.show more

The telephoto system on the vivo X300 Ultra is... a bit insane. This generation brings upgrades not only in sensor specifications, but also in stabilization and subject tracking, pushing smartphone telephoto photography closer to the level of professional cameras. 1. Upgraded 200MP “Thanos Telephoto” system The X300 Ultra uses a Blueprint × Samsung HP0 200-megapixel telephoto sensor, representing the fifth generation of the Zeiss-branded “Thanos telephoto.” Building on the previous HPE solution, vivo further refined the sensor through deep customization, improving color rendering, autofocus, HDR performance, and power efficiency, allowing this 200MP telephoto to deliver stronger overall imaging performance. 2. Gimbal-level stabilization and 60fps tracking capture The X300 Ultra introduces around 3° optical stabilization on its telephoto lens, a massive jump compared with the 0.7°–1° typically seen in telephoto OIS systems and even beyond the 1.2° on the X200 Ultra. This enables CIPA 7.0-level professional stabilization. The stronger stabilization significantly improves handheld shooting at long focal lengths, including 200mm, 400mm, and beyond. In addition, the device features a Blueprint high-refresh tracking engine that supports 60fps motion capture, doubling the industry’s common 30fps capability and allowing telephoto cameras not only to capture static subjects, but also to reliably track fast-moving targets.show more

In our Anthropic Claude Design study, 5 designers approved... a design system before they typed their first prompt. >Brand palette >type system >components the whole thing all set up. Only 1 of them named any of it in their opening prompt. That designer was the only one to finish production-ready. The other 4 assumed Claude would carry the system over. It didn't. TLDR: Claude doesn't reliably carry the design system you just approved. If you don't name it in the prompt, it doesn’t exist. It's never been a better time to be a designer, but you must learn the art of the prompt.show more

Here's a closer look at the new GR GT... and GT3 version. Both versions were developed alongside each other and together. But although it is an all-new sports car, the GT is also a rather traditional one, with a V-8 at the front driving the rear wheels and only what seems to be a modest level of hybrid assistance.show more
