i think it’s been enough time & we can... finally address this particular discourse, and i think there’s a healthy discussion we can have about it. i genuinely think a fully traditional rendition in 2026, by artists operating at a global pop level, would have changed how the project was received internationally. there’s a very real possibility it would’ve been boxed into “world music,” treated more like cultural exhibition than a modern musical statement, keeping in mind that Arirang Album is not for 'aesthetics' nor is it a history lesson. using 808s, trap production, pop structures, and english hooks while still centering Arirang was actually a significant artistic choice. historically, Arirang was the song of ordinary people. in today’s world, pop culture/pop music is the common language. using contemporary pop to carry that sentiment to millions of listeners across countries feels very aligned with the spirit of what Arirang represented in its own time. and ‘unapologetically korean’ does not have to mean “only in korean” or “frozen in tradition.” it can also mean Korean artists having full control over how their culture is presented, modernized, exported, and understood. i also think if they had leaned entirely into historical styling and traditional presentation, western media may have reduced it to a “cultural curiosity” instead of engaging with it as a current, competitive pop release. critics likely would’ve framed it as heritage performance before artistry. i am glad they chose this route for the album.show more

Before marriage, the Palace structure and public expectations kept him in check. There were boundaries, guidance, and consequences. His rough edges were managed, his mistakes were contained, and he still had a sense of purpose through duty and service. After she arrived, it shifted into grievance culture. Every setback became “persecution.” Every criticism became “abuse.” Every boundary became “cruelty.” And instead of being pushed to grow up, Harry was encouraged to lean into victimhood as an identity and a brand. Paxton beat him by more than twenty points. But here's the uncomfortable question. If we replace Thune tomorrow, who takes his place? A 53 seat majority still needs 60 votes for most legislation. If the next senators in line are cut from the same establishment cloth as Thune and Cornyn, we haven't fixed anything. We've just changed the face on the podium. The real fight isn't one man. It's a Senate culture that treats the filibuster like sacred scripture while the country burns. What Trump’s actions show is that globalization is over.... Nations must form empires again and secure their strategic space and resources. The world has woken up and is preparing for this new age. If you do not possess a resource at home, or lack direct access to it and the military capability to defend that access and the transport routes then you are dependent on the goodwill of others. The so-called “free and open market” no longer exists. The global Walmart cop has retired. Free, secure, reliable, and cheap global transport may soon be a thing of the past. The world is wide awake and adapting. Europe, meanwhile, reacts with one-sided moral outrage. Geopolitical actions are still interpreted through the outdated ideology of the unipolar moment, judged morally by whether one likes or dislikes the regime being changed. Europe needs to wake up from its liberal, post-political slumber. We are no longer an isolated island between two blocs. We are no longer an economic eunuch living as an adorable pet in the golden cage of a Pax Americana. But the current elites refuse to wake up. They want to become the world police themsevles now - a globocop without a gun. When they speak belligerently about “defending Europe,” they do not mean defending European peoples, national identities, or national interests. They mean defending liberal universalism. They are fanatics of a cargo cult. They are incapable of responding to modern challenges or operating in a de-globalized world. They hate Trump and Putin primarily but because they think they shattered their beautiful dream of globalization out of bad will. They were just reading the signs earlier and rugpulled the unipolar world with imperial politics. Now our elites want to make it the White European man’s burden to rebuild a utopia that never existed in the first place. To get us in line they copy paste a few Vril-Edits, beat their chests and clamor about the "evil" rest of the world. I stand by my words. The real enemy is within. The greatest threat to national survival and European sovereignty is our current rotten, imbecile, unattractiv and stupid elite. Every day they are in power longer, they're losing more European soil, resources, power, lives, and ethnocultural heritage. They must go. this is a tribute post to share the legacy... of an artist whose work has changed my life and inspires me everyday, Jun Seba aka Nujabes. Born February 7, 1974, Nujabes was a music producer & DJ from Tokyo, Japan. He came from a family of music lovers and his father’s admiration for jazz served as an inspiration to Seba at a young age. He pursued his education at a Fine Arts school and the people in his life influenced him to explore the vast wonders of what music really is. In a 2003 interview with Sound & Recording Magazine, Seba said… “I started making tracks because I wanted to hear music that sampled the old soul and jazz I liked.” Nujabes in his early years discovered Hip-Hop and was enamored by the art of DJ-ing and breakdancing. Hip-Hop culture was being brought to life in the USA, but its influence seeped across the world and it started to gain popularity in Japan at the time as well. Seba went on to become a crucial figure in Japan’s underground Hip-Hop scene as a DJ, co-creating a label called ‘Hydeout Productions’. His love for music stemmed beyond just creating it. He had his own record store, which he spoke about in the aforementioned 2003 interview. “I recently started up a record store, Tribe, which I see as an extension of Hydeout Productions. Everything at the store is stuff I went and bought overseas myself, and my hope is for people to come in, listen to old records at their leisure, and hopefully feel inspired by those records to make good tracks themselves. That’s another thing I would like to cherish doing in the future—creating those sorts of encouraging environment” This was a genuine testament to the pure love Nujabes had for music and the community that is built as a result. This passion is what fueled the masterpieces we listen to today and it is the reason for him revolutionizing Hip-Hop production. One of his greatest achievements, in my opinion, was his contribution to the soundtrack of ‘Samurai Champloo’ alongside Fat Jon. This soundtrack set Nujabes on center stage. With a fusion of traditional Japanese musical influences, everything he learned as a student of Hip-Hop, and his early love for Jazz music, Nujabes created a new soundscape which set the tone for this acclaimed show, but also epitomized his brilliance as a musician. At a recent Nujabes tribute performance, longtime collaborator and a friend of Nujabes, Fat Jon, said a few words about him… “Our friendship went beyond music. And so yeah, we had fun making music, but we had more fun just doing regular shit in life… Nujabes as a person, separated from the music, he was a cool person.” You can tell everyone that has worked with or around Nujabes has a deep, unwavering admiration for him as a musician, but also as a person and a friend. Although his contributions to the soundtrack shot Nujabes to fame, his discography of solo music is what cemented his legacy as a pioneer of modern music. From his debut ‘Metaphorical Music’, to his most critically acclaimed work ‘Modal Soul’, Nujabes was able to create entire soundscapes by blending all the different things that made him love music in the first place. It would be a disservice to not mention his friends and frequent collaborators who had invaluable contributions to his work. Here's a teaser of Lv Bu (吕布) from Light... Chaser Animation-the most powerful warrior of the Three Kingdoms, and perhaps the most dangerous man to trust. Lv Bu (吕布) was renowned as the era's most preeminent warrior. Born in Inner Mongolian, he's known as the "Flying General (飞将)" for his extraordinary martial skills. His legendary steed, Red Hare (赤兔), remains one of the ultimate symbols of a warhorse in Chinese culture to this day. It is widely believed to have been a "heavenly horse" from Central Asia. Lv's greatest weakness was never on the battlefield, but in his character. Suspicious, fickle, and lacking both political judgment and stable loyalty, he repeatedly switched allegiances in the chaos of the era, ultimately failing to secure a lasting position. He initially served under Ding Yuan (丁原), the Inspector of Bing Province (并州). In the late Eastern Han dynasty, imperial authority had weakened, eunuchs dominated the court, and political order had collapsed. In 189 AD, Ding Yuan led his troops to the capital Luoyang (洛阳) and conspired with the General-in-Chief He Jin (何进) to eliminate the eunuchs and restore order, or, make the throne great again. However, the plan was poorly executed. He Jin was killed by the eunuchs instead, who subsequently were slaughtered by He's allies. A huge vacuum of power emerged, and the situation quickly spiraled out of control. At this critical moment, the warlord Dong Zhuo (董卓), summoned to the capital, seized the opportunity. He swiftly took control of Luoyang, held the emperor hostage, and dominated the imperial court. Recognizing Lv's martial prowess and position, Dong Zhuo sowed discord between him and Ding Yuan, eventually persuading Lv Bu to kill his lord and defect to his side. For a time, the two referred to each other as father and son. However, Dong Zhuo's brutal and paranoid nature eventually wore on Lv Bu. Over time, as Lv grew more dissatisfied, his unease grew further when he began an affair with Dong Zhuo's maid. Ultimately, with the scheme of Wang Yun (王允), Lv Bu personally assassinated Dong Zhuo, the second time he killed his own lord. The maid, whose name was never recorded in historical texts, was later immortalized in the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms as "Diaochan (貂蝉)." While the details of the maid's life are unknown, the story of Diaochan has become rich and romanticized, forever entwined with the legends of that era, making her one of China's Four Great Beauties. However, the assassination of Dong Zhuo did not grant Lv a stable position he sought. For the next ten years, he wandered between various factions, aligning with them, betraying them, and repeating this cycle. He remained the undefeated warrior, but over time, he came to be seen by all the warlords as: The strongest, yet the most untrustworthy man. Historical records show that when Cao Cao (曹操) tried to win over Lv Bu, he sent him a military seal and a sash. Cao Cao wrote in a personal letter to Lv Bu, "The royal family has no good gold, so I have recast a seal for you with my own family's gold; the royal family has no purple sash, so I have given you my own purple sash to show my sincerity." However, Lv's repeated betrayals finally led Cao to make the decision to eliminate him. In 199 AD, Cao Cao captured him. What followed was a fascinating conversation recorded in history. When Lv Bu met Cao Cao, he said: "From now on, the world can be at peace." Cao Cao asked, "Why do you say that?" Lv Bu replied: "Your Excellency's only concern is me. Now that I have surrendered, the trouble of the world is nearly over. If you command me to lead the cavalry and you lead the infantry, all under heaven will surely be unified." Lv then turned to Liu Bei (刘备), who was nearby and would move on to oppose Cao Cao in the southwest of China 20 years later, and pleaded: "Could you not speak a word on my behalf to loosen bonds?" Cao Cao, upon hearing this, smiled and said: "Binding a tiger must be done tightly." At that moment, Liu Bei intervened: "Have you forgotten the stories of Ding Yuan and Dong Zhuo?" These words completely changed the situation. Cao Cao immediately decided to execute Lv to avoid his own tragic end. Before his execution, Lv glared at Liu Bei in anger and shouted: "Big-eared man (大耳儿), you are the most untrustworthy!" This final insult not only marked the last words of his life but also made Liu Bei's nickname endure in history for 1,800 years. For over 1,800 years, Lv Bu has never disappeared. In history, in novels, in films, and in games, he is always the ultimate warrior. Max stats. Zero loyalty.
