A quick check-in on the horses and where everyone... stands right now: After running in the G1 Hopeful, Curtain Call unfortunately cut his leg. The good news is he’s healing well and is finally back to light workouts on the grass at Palm Meadows. It’s been a patient road back, but he’s moving in the right direction. Sandman is currently resting in Ocala while the team evaluates next steps and maps out the best plan moving forward. Ewing is also resting in Ocala alongside Sandman, with the goal of returning to action when we get back to Saratoga. Silent Tactic is running for Team Casse in the Arkansas Derby on March 28th & Reagan’s Honor will be running in the Blue Grass Stakes on April 4th to hopefully stamp their ticket to the Kentucky Derby. I will be attending both to cheer on the boys 👏🏼 Flightless is still training and will hopefully make her debut this summer. Horse racing is a marathon, not a sprint. The priority is always getting them healthy, happy, and ready when the time is right.
