Female burials contained bronze ornaments. Some male graves, distinguished by especially rich grave inventories, likely belonged to clan leaders, reflecting a patriarchal social structure. The predominance of East Asian morphological traits among the buried individuals points to close connections between the bearers of the Ananyino culture and populations of Siberia. The anthropologist Georgy Debets noted that the Lugovskoy burial ground is characterized by a meso-brachycranial cranial type with a weakly projecting nose, a form already emerging in burials of the preceding period associated with the Abashevo and Srubnaya cranial series displaying East Asian traits. The skulls recovered from Lugovskoy are characterized by a flat face and a weakly projecting nose. In these features, they are not only more East Asian than those of groups such as the Nenets, but in some respects even match the Asian branch represented by the Buryats and Tuvans. At the same time, facial height remains within the range of variation observed among European populations. Although a detailed characterization remains difficult, several traits can be outlined: a cranial index of approximately 80, a sloping forehead, and low or below-average stature. Its Asian origin is beyond doubt, though the timing of its appearance west of the Urals remains unclear. Alongside this predominant type, isolated Europoid dolichocranial skulls were also identified at the Lugovskoy burial ground. Shell in the Spotlight Again as More Motorists Blame... The incident reportedly happened just moments after the driver refueled at Shell Links Road in Mombasa when the vehicle began losing power on the way to Voi. Despite pushing forward, the problem worsened, and the car eventually stalled a few kilometres before Kitui, forcing the motorist to seek emergency mechanical assistance. A mechanic from Kitui ran a diagnostic test and found severe engine damage, including a completely worn-out piston, citing contaminated fuel as the likely cause of the problem. With no alternative, the motorist had the vehicle towed back to Mombasa and reported the matter to Vivo Energy Kenya. A representative from the company requested a fuel sample for testing at their laboratory. On Tuesday, they informed her that the sample had passed all tests. The motorist, dissatisfied with Vivo Energy’s response, instructed his mechanic to conduct a more thorough inspection of the engine to determine the extent of the damage. May this young man's Soul Rest in Peace. The... carnage continues due to unprecedented levels of greed, dereliction of duty, and lack of accountability. The funds are actually there and have been provided over the past decade. The Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance has released about UGX 100 Billion since 2019 for a Department of Government whose main responsibility and objective should be prevention of road crashes. These funds have been spent on activities with very minimal impact on road safety. This information has been shared with IGG, Office of the Auditor General Uganda, Criminal Investigations Directorate-UPF. How do you explained the death of a young man in a fatal road crash that caused the incineration of the vehicle which he was driving? He must have been driving in one of the best motor vehicles in this country given the wealth of his family. He was driving a motor vehicle which probably had good safety features on a smooth road without pot holes. It is easy to draw conclusions like he was speeding, he was fatigued, he lost control of his motor vehicle, he made errors, e.t.c. Whereas all that may be true, did he deserve to die in such a gruesome way for those errors in judgement? The answer is a BIG NO. The truth is government failed him in so many ways. At the center of modern day road safety management is recognition that errors made by road users (drivers, motorcyclists, cyclist and pedestrians) MUST NOT lead to their demise. Here is a situation he found himself in: Concrete Barriers on a road that encourages high speed. Who has the onus to remove this hazard? Government. I could have perished in the same circumstances a few years back before the completion of the KEE on the way to the Airport. It was a rainy early morning at about 5:00am and I drove through barriers which were made of plastic. So why were these not made of plastic? Was there a provision for lighting on that section? If not, it should have been there. This is what we mean when we say roads should be forgiving. Apart from their design, road sides are the major reference here. The road should have forgiven him for this error if it had plastic reflective barriers. These kind of barriers would have caught his attention and he would have stopped his car instead of killing him. Were the traffic lights functional? Why was there no hazard signage or warning of any sort since there were barriers in middle of the road? This section of the road is built as an expressway and as such encourages speeding especially at any time beyond midnight. There are no traffic calming measures in place yet it is freely used by pedestrians and Boda-Bodaz like any other city road. Roads are supposed to be designed and constructed bearing in mind the activities that take place around them (Land Use). Interventions to control speed must be implemented if there is a high volume of different road users. They would have got his attention and he would not have died. A glaring example of contractors that do not care about road safety is on the section of Kampala-Masaka in the swampy section of Lwera. The Concrete Barriers are there and in places where they are not, there is nothing preventing a motor vehicle falling off into the swamp. Not even a rope. Arms sales: China Needs More Responsibility Instead of Glorifying... the Market It's been a while since Beijing stopped picking sides in wars, they just want to win at all costs. They sell weapons, components, or drones to both contenders, rake in huge profits, and still claim to be "neutral and peaceful." Pragmatism without hypocrisy, and it's nothing new. In Ukraine, at the start of the war, components and drones served both sides. Later, they cut off direct supplies to both, but everyone kept buying through third parties, and the Chinese obviously know about it. Profit guaranteed. In the recent Thailand-Cambodia war, they sold VT-4 tanks and S26T submarines to Thailand, and guided missiles - to destroy the tanks sold to Thailand?-, rockets, and artillery to Cambodia. Chinese weapons exchanging fire from both sides, but the Chinese say it's just "normal defense cooperation." Israel and Iran is another perfect example: a Chinese state-owned company has been operating the port of Haifa in Israel since 2021 and is now involved in rebuilding the destruction caused by Iranian missiles, while selling ballistic missile components to Iran to repeat the feat and financing Iran's reconstruction until Israel repeats it too. This did not come out of nowhere, Pedro Sanchez’s government spent months pushing a massive regularisation scheme that was supposed to cover around 500,000 illegal migrants where over a million applied. Meanwhile to make the situation worse, temporary work permits have already been handed out to hundreds of thousands while applications are processed. The message the Sanchez government sent is clear, Spain will regularise large numbers of people who entered or stayed illegally. When a government signals that illegal presence can lead to papers, more people will obviously come, it’s not rocket science to figure it out. Sanchez and his ministers own the policy choices that created the incentives and the weakened deterrence. They own the repeated preference for regularisation and “integration” rhetoric over firm border control and rapid returns. They own the gap between talking about returns and the reality of overloaded facilities and uncontrolled crossings at Ceuta. Two things need to happen ASAP: ▪️Sanchez resigns, a government that promises pathways that function as magnets, then watches the border collapse under the resulting pressure, has lost the authority to continue ▪️New leadership must prioritise the deportation of every person who entered or remains illegally, starting with those who crossed today and those already in the system without legal basis. Of a detest for masculinity and the total embrace of the politics of climate and mass immigration. But it wasn’t that. It was a frustration with the status-quo; an anger at the captured Liberal establishment, which made them almost indistinguishable from Labor. Albanese’s great appeal was that he was not Morrison, and Dutton actually looked somehow less prepared. But it was never a great embrace. It was more of a, “well I guess it’s you then”. Labor don’t really have a mandate for change, but they are convinced that Australians are a bunch of jealous fools that are too stupid to see the total erosion of our freedoms and way of life. Those in power are too blind to notice that everything they talk about and touch has set us backwards. But we see them. Albanese is just about the most inarticulate and incompetent Prime Minister we’ve ever had, and his vision for Australia does not extend beyond his comfortable, taxpayer funded retirement on the beach. The self-interest of the establishment is at record levels, and rather than listen, adapt and fix the problems they've caused, they just double down. And double down again. Both sides have grown transactional and prefer to shoot their messengers. They expel and slander those who have tried to do the right thing over the last decade, and now both sides are left with a talentless pool of transactional twits. There is not a capable government to be formed between them, and their time is up. I don’t think it will matter what Pauline Hanson says or does between now and the election, her popularity will continue to climb as she looks less and less like them… and they panic their way into helping her do that. The public have had enough, and Hanson is their pathway to showing the world that the Australian establishment is done. This is what I’m talking about. This isn’t to... highlight Bentancur. It’s how 90% of teams and players behave for I’d say 70% of the game. But what are we trying to achieve here? The best thing that can happen from any phase of play, is to score a goal. So that’s the overall objective. To do that, the ball at some stage has to go behind every single opposition player and space has to be exploited whether it’s big or small. But Bentancur here is waiting. Waiting for players to move. Waiting for opposition to move. But why would Newcastle move? They don’t need to break from their shape. But imagine what would happen if Bentancur travelled with the ball into those open spaces. Newcastle and spurs players aren’t just going to watch, it’s going to instigate a chain reaction of movement from both sides. And that will in turn break up shapes which creates gaps. Then it’s if you are confident and able to exploit. But just waiting doesn’t achieve it. Imagine the disruption you will cause if both the ball player, and off ball players look to provoke the opposition as opposed to rigidly stand in shape. It’s just logical. If you stay still. It increasingly appears that the so-called protest march was deliberately left without leadership or direction, creating conditions in which anarchic elements could unleash violence and mayhem. When the situation spiralled out of control, many of the prominent faces associated with the protest were nowhere to be seen, some chose to get a burger, others sought engagement with the government, and still others simply disappeared from the scene. A word of caution to parents: please do not allow your children to become cannon fodder for politicians such as Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav, Chandrashekhar Azad, or others seeking political mileage. When protests turn violent, it is ordinary students and young people who face the consequences, not those who incited or encouraged them. Your children can get injured, traumatised, or even find themselves facing legal consequences if they become caught up in rioting or acts of vandalism. Those who mobilise them will not be there when it matters most. I am told that the Delhi Police has released those who were detained during the protest. At the same time, law enforcement agencies have a duty to act whenever public safety is threatened or public property is damaged. The events of the day revealed a simple truth: those claiming to lead the protest were conspicuously absent when the situation deteriorated. Look at how American children live! I filmed this... on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children! Somalians in Minnesota have been in the news a... lot. As someone who has lived in Minnesota my whole life I want to share my perspective. First we need to separate groups. A lot of people are saying things like we should deport all Somalians. That is wrong. Many Somalians were born here or moved here decades ago and they consider themselves American first. They raise families here, contribute to their communities, and see this country as home. Treating them as anything less than American is wrong. With that said there is a different group of Somalians that people in Minnesota talk about privately but are afraid to say out loud. Starting in the late 2000s and continuing since then, large numbers of Somalians were imported here from Somalia who do not see themselves as American, they identify as Somalian only. Many do not speak English, many do not work, and many do not support American law and norms. People who live in Minneapolis or around have seen this. This group has not been a net positive economically, socially, or culturally. They have also gained a large amount of political power in a short period of time. This is why you see Minneapolis politicians speaking Somalian instead of English, and why the Minnesota flag was changed to look almost identical to the Somalian flag. People in Minnesota are not surprised by the recent fraud stories. The scale is shocking but the behavior itself is not. Everyone in Minnesota has seen what Minneapolis has become, and it’s sad. Most people in Minnesota don’t say anything about it cause they know they will get in trouble if they do. This does not mean every Somalian person fits this description, and we should not generalize in totality at all. But Minneapolis is a fallen city, and anyone who lives in it or around it knows this even though most won’t say it out loud.show more
