Elephants love jackfruit and will go to extraordinary, highly... creative lengths to harvest them due to their intense, sweet aroma that can be smelled from miles away. Because jackfruits are the world's largest tree-borne fruit—often weighing up to 80 pounds—they serve as a massive, high-energy snack for hungry tuskers - Meanwhile An elephant from Nelliyampathi forest reserveshow more

“Many people ask how elephants scratch an itch. 🐘🌿... We often see them rubbing their flanks, rumps, or heads against trees to relieve itchy skin. But what about their backs? Namwan is here to demonstrate her favorite solution! She has found the perfect scratching stick and knows exactly how to use it to reach those hard-to-scratch places. The best part? When she’s finished, she doesn’t leave it behind—she carries her special scratching stick home with her, ready for the next time she needs it! Elephants are incredibly intelligent and resourceful animals. They often find creative ways to solve everyday problems, and watching them invent their own solutions never fails to amaze us. They have no home to return to, no warm... bed to sleep in, and no voice to tell us how much they are suffering. 💔🐾 When the rains come, they search for a little dry corner. When they are hungry, they quietly wait for someone kind enough to notice them. They suffer every day, yet they continue to trust humans. Please, always be kind. Always be compassionate. ❤️ Whenever you get a chance, give them something to eat. Keep a bowl of clean water. Offer them a dry, safe place to rest. Stop for a moment and show them some love. You may think it is a small gesture, but for them, it could mean survival, comfort, and hope. They don't ask for much just a little food, a little shelter, and a little kindness. Please don't look away from their suffering. If you can help, help. If you can feed, feed. If you can protect, protect. Because every helpless soul deserves to feel that the world has not forgotten them. ❤️🙏 #dogsshow more

Some people are made different and there is nothing... you can do to stop them from winning, because it’s in their DNA… Look, the muthafucka is eight feet tall! If they’d let the homie, Draymond, play him as physical as he wanted to equal out that advantage, that dunk would not have been that easy. Shaq dominated, but they let the physicality be more intense.show more

It’s very clear to me that we are being... poisoned from as many angles as possible. Electromagnetic frequency (EMF) is no exception. If they can set the limits for smart meters this high, we should be cautious about all sources of electromagnetic energy. It’s supposed to be highly regulated to protect human health, but learning this is troubling. Now consider that they want smart devices everywhere monitoring everything you do, thus we will be bombarded by even more EMF. It’s poisoning on a cellular level.show more

Tel Aviv mood: These people on the beach and... at the bar all know some of them could be in uniform and in battle tomorrow and that they and their loved ones are at risk of missile attacks from maniacs 1,000 miles away. They are bracing for a potentially difficult week ahead. So they try to share only good vibes. They remind each other not to be negative, not to gossip. They greet each other with extra warmth. It's very touching. Jews from all over have flown in, one told me, "I felt I should be here, now more than ever." People are on edge but resolute that things will work out for the best. A reckoning with Hezboallah and Iran always had to come, sooner or later, and there was always going to be a price to pay, but Israel will prevail, as our enemies are evil. Shabbat Shalomshow more

The Federal Government is trending because they've begun selling... 50kg rice at ₦40k rice to hungry poor Nigerians. To ensure that “Nigerians do not go to bed hungry.” Somehow, the Minister of Agriculture says this will crash the price of Rice in the market. Yet, they will be selling only ~600,000 bags. And the maximum a person can buy is 1 bag. NIN and Phone numbers will be used as verification to ensure there is no fraudulent sales. While civil servants will use their IPPIS number for verification. Nigerians still believe it will be a nepotized activity. Further adding that, palliative is not a sustainable economic solution, particularly rice. Because rice palliative have become the federal go-to solution for every economic crisis complain. And the problem is people can't afford the rice. Experts are advising the government to tackle inflation, reduce fuel price, and improve national productivity. As an alternative to recurring "ineffective" palliatives.show more

“Paano ba ‘to from now on?” I wasn’t expecting... they would drop that. I can’t even type it out because I don’t want it to be real, but it is what it is, and I fully respect that. It was a hard decision, for sure, and yes, it is scary if you look at it from here on, but I am all for their growth. It brings me comfort that that decision was made to grow more individually as an artist and as a person. I’m just so proud that they were brave enough to take on that, knowing all the uncertainties that are laced into that decision. As a fan, it is still hard to process all of that for now, but I know that no matter what happens, they will always have each other and nobody can take away what they have and what they have built throughout the years. Nothing will ever change. I’m also grateful that it came straight from them, not from anyone else. It just shows how they love, respect, and care for us, their bubblies. So yeah, donbelle’s last project for now, but please know that there will always be a house you can come home to anytime. ‘Wag masyadong magpa-miss ah, Belle Mariano Donny. When it comes to new siblings the gulf between... expectations and reality can be pretty stark. The reality is that newborns are often significantly less “fun” than billed to their toddler and preschool-aged siblings. Instead of an instant playmate and best friend, newborns require a great deal of parental care, energy, and attention. They mostly eat and sleep, which can be a bit of a letdown. I just love this new big brother, shared to IG by _jennapierce. He’s so enthusiastic… and ready for his newborn sibling to wake up and interact - even trying out the whole “got your nose” prank to get his attention (without avail). Rest assured, that time will come, little buddy! Parents can help to ease the transition by teaching siblings about newborn care and establishing realistic expectations from the get go. (“He’ll be so much fun to play with when he gets a little older, but at first he’s going to be very tiny and sleepy. We’ll need to be very gentle and you can help teach him how to talk! He won’t be ready to talk back at first, but he’s going to be listening very carefully.”) What a sweet moment to capture on video. These two are going to be best of friends.show more

With health and good fortune, an elephant can walk... the earth up to 70 years. As we nurture the orphans of today, we must think even bigger — safeguarding their future and ensuring that elephants always have a place on our planet. With #WorldElephantDay (August 12) just a week away, we will spend the coming days reflecting on the many ways we are working to secure the future of Kenya’s elephants — highlighting the everyday heroes and field conservation work made possible by donors like you. Mentorship is very important in elephant society. During the... reintegration phase, we help our dependent orphans transition to their wild lives by offering a safe, supportive environment in which they can learn from and mingle freely with wild elephants, ex-orphans, and their families. This scene captures how naturally these dynamics unfold: The big bull, known as ‘Customer Number One’, is a wild elephant who often arrives early to join the orphans for breakfast. On this morning, he lined up beside ex-orphan Chyulu (far left) and her wild-born sons, Cheka and Charli, surrounded by our dependent herd. When an orphaned elephant loses their mother, we step... in to offer them hope and a family. Kaikai, rescued as a newborn, wanted constant physical touch and to know she was at the centre of her Keepers’ universe – which she was! The care they receive today helps ensure they can return to the wild when they are ready. Alongside comfort, we provide three-hourly milk feeds, specialist care and a nurturing environment where they can thrive. Help provide the care that gives these orphans a second chance. Dr V Krishnamurthy popularly known as Dr K, a... legend in elephant veterinary care dedicated his entire life for elephants till his death. He always used to caution about the danger posed to wildlife by broken glass bottles carelessly thrown by people in and around forest areas. Not many know that glass shards can kill even elephants. It is critical to keep these bottles away from wildlife habitats. Happy to see a major clean up by the Kanniyakumari Wildlife Sanctuary along with the Kanniyakumari Nature Foundation and college students who cleared critical areas by collecting tonnes of discarded glass bottles. Well done DFO Kanniyakumari and the entire team #TNForestshow more

If you want kids, have 2. And make sure... they are 14-18 months a part. It’s a life hack Until they are both at least two, life will be hard. But once they are that age, throw them in the same room together. Encourage them to be best friends. And then watch as the fruit of your labor multiplies. I often just sit and watch their brains explode as they amuse themselves. Sometimes I sleep in and they are alone in the living room for a good hour by themselves. I’ve even come out before and they already fed themselves breakfastshow more

We often think that our idols dedicate themselves only... to their work as actresses, without considering that in reality they devote themselves to many other things that we often don’t see because they are not published, and often charity and good deeds are done in silence, without being shown. But then there are videos that need to be shown to new fans or perhaps to those who don’t know about Lena and Miu going personally to do charity work, confronting realities that perhaps even during the course of a day or throughout life you don’t think you would ever see, and when that happens you find souls who are moved when they come into contact with these realities. During their birthday celebrations, they raised money which they then personally brought to the blind children’s foundation, confronting a very different reality from their usual one. They spent time with them, they saw these children playing the piano, and they gave them food, drinks, and basic necessities. Seeing all this not only opens your eyes to a side of the world that is often “forgotten,” but also makes you realize how lucky we are to be able to do something more for all these children with serious difficulties. Today we have another lesson from our beloved girls. Material good can never repay a good that comes from the heart, which is love.
