Enough trolling. I've been trolling because there was nothing... worth saying. September markets will reward patience. It's going just about how we forecasted. Strength into the start of the month, then chop. Unfortunately that strength was some weaker than expect, and some of the most concentrated we've tracked. A handful of names carried the tape while breadth quietly deteriorated underneath. Indices are holding. The average stock isn't. 🧵show more

As a man who has touched big money in... the past, when i faced financial issues, I told myself it's not a big deal that I will eventually bounce back. Afterall, I have a positive mindset. It's been two years now, i never still bounce back 😂 At the end of the day, every man with his strength. Not every man who was once doing well for themselves and later encountered financial difficulties will have that strength, patience and endurance to bounce back after going through that phase for years. I don't wish a man to fail because most men will never bounce back and nothing hurts more than "i get am before"show more

The fun part of experimenting with brushes is that... you have to figure out how the ink behaves first. How it spreads. How it flows. Only after that do you start thinking about texture. And honestly both parts are hard in their own way. What I tried today was adding something like a magnetic force into the ink. So while drawing, these unexpected textures start to show up.Most of the strength and density come from layering 2D Perlin noise. It’s actually really fun to play with. A lot of time goes into things no one ever notices. That’s just life :)show more

When Sharon and I got married, the first diamond... I bought her was tiny. It definitely wasn't anything that would turn heads. But here's what I've learned after all these years: the size of the diamond has absolutely nothing to do with the strength of the marriage. We built our marriage first. We built wealth over time. Then, years later, we upgraded the ring. Don't go into debt trying to buy a symbol of a great marriage. Build one instead.show more

Pierce Brosnan revealed that he spent the final night... of his wife Cassandra Harris's life lying beside her as she urged him to keep acting. "I was lying in bed with her, just holding her... it was the night before she passed away." "She said, 'Always be an actor.' I laughed and said, 'What do you mean, Cassie?' She said, 'Keep going, sweetheart. Just promise me you'll keep going.'" "We talked about the children. We talked about our life together, and she had this incredible strength. She was comforting me, really, when it should have been the other way around." "The next morning, she just quietly slipped away."show more

Norris reveals what he was thinking during the last... two laps in Abu Dhabi: "I just started thinking of my first day in a go-kart. I was on this kind of mini tennis court, and we put some slicks on the go-kart, and I was just doing some doughnuts and just having some fun" "And slowly around the lap, I kind of pictured the years that followed: stepping up into the proper racing to going on to race in Europe, the World Championships 2014, Formula 4, Ginetta, New Zealand, Jerez, F3, F2 " "And that's how my last two laps pretty much went, until we go under the hotel. All of a sudden, I pictured my mum in the garage. That was the first time, the first moment the whole year, I just about started to realise what was happening, what was about to happen" "And all I did was picture the garage. Picture my parents there, my brother, my sisters, all in the garage for the final four corners, and I came around the last corner, and again, then that next step of emotion starts to kick in — and realisation — of what's happened" "The last 18 years all led to this one moment"show more

Some vile little cretins that decided it was ok... to kick this dog, and lady… what the fuck is happening to our youth, this supposedly happened because the lady notified a member of staff that the scum bags were stealing, bless her. Each and everyone of them needs a slap. Some have been named and shamed in the post. Two names which are confirmed are Morgan Phillips (one of the girls) and PJ Smith is the boy. If any other names are made available to me, they will be added to this post. Kick peoples animals and find out you cunts.show more

I’m sorry but one of the main people “leading”... this protest movement was, just a few months ago, a happy Chelsea supporter going about his life, posting funny videos and enjoying the season. Like most of us, he was celebrating our good form and excited for the future. Contrarian negative influencers that financially benefit from chaos and the club’s struggles fed on the fickle mind of some fans playing into their fears, threw them on the frontline and now some are spewing conspiracy nonsense thinking they’re Chelsea’s Che Guevara. People need to be aware of the real world consequences that their inciting rhetoric will eventually cause.show more

Bay Area, CA (minutes ago)- Trying to figure out... the right hashtags for this one and we just don’t have it. Hate to add one this late in the game, but there’s no choice other than- #BatShitCrazy Not sure what sort of rule based metrics encourage the vehicle to drive out into cross traffic for a T-bone opportunity; luckily there was a police officer there to try to intervene and convince the Waymo to get out of the intersection. The video cuts off a bit early because the person filming obviously was concerned that the Waymo was going to back into them. If we can pick up some more information on this one, we will throw them into the comments. #SunsetProject #NeedIntelligence. #NeedInference #ManilaWeHaveAProblem #FullRetardshow more

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: too... deep into the escalation trap or the cycle of stupid. The events over the past week should start to dissuade anyone from contemplating that the Strait of Hormuz is going back to normal anytime soon. The video from MarineTraffic illustrates that clearly with Iran's lane being the only active one. Today, IRGC said that 4 vessels were halted, while the US is saying that's fake. No one knows what's real anymore, but what is real is that shipowners will be reluctant to take the risk. He said, she said isn't good enough anymore when lives are at risk. We are now firmly in Robert A. Pape's escalation trap and Malcolm Nance's cycle of stupid. It is clear and obvious the US cannot give Iran the control of the Strait of Hormuz because it will make it the most powerful oil producer in the world. And since this conflict is all or nothing, we will either have to topple the regime, or Iran will come out victorious. There's no in-between. Let's see how this weekend goes, but from a flow perspective, nothing is going through. Zero barrels went through on July 17 and the last two days have not been revised higher by Kpler.show more

People keep saying, "You've been talking about her for... two years, and she hasn't said anything." So what exactly are you expecting me to do? Stay silent and pretend nothing happened? Am I not allowed to speak about how I feel I was used and betrayed in that marriage? Am I not allowed to talk about my own pain, my experiences, what I lost, or how I believe I was lured into coming to this country? Why is it that some people believe only one side should have a voice? Some of you are uncomfortable because these issues are now in the public domain. You would rather everyone acted as though nothing ever happened and quietly moved on. But that's not how life works. People process painful experiences differently, and some choose to speak about them. If you expected complete silence after everything that happened, then you're going to be disappointed. This journey isn't over yet. And yes I just recovered my old phone today.show more

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: Oman... lane is active? Over the last 7 days, Kpler tracked 18 tankers exiting the Strait of Hormuz, 5 related to Iran. Average volume of 1.861 million b/d. In the video from MarineTraffic, you can see that at the beginning, there was a bulk carrier called Supra Baron that tried going through the Oman lane and then turning around. A few vessels took the Iran lane shortly after. But more interestingly, as I'm writing this post, there are two tankers that are about to go through the Oman lane: Rotterdam Energy, a VLCC, and Gaslog Shanghai, an LNG tanker. Rotterdam Energy turned off its AIS about an hour ago, so it's in the process of transiting now. Is the Oman lane active again? Or will IRGC enforce control again? If IRGC makes a move, then all the bombing the US did was create temporary enforcement vacuums in place for tankers to transit. This is clearly unsustainable in the long-run. I guess we will find out soon enough.show more

The last 24 hours in the Strait of Hormuz... are a doozy. At the start of the clip, you will see many of the vessels that were going through the Oman route take the Iran route instead. Now there's something I should probably point out. In the last week or so, US escorts through the Oman lane typically saw VLCCs transit out; that was not the case this time. In addition, US transits typically show a cluster of ships moving together, which was not the case here either. Basically, I'm just saying it doesn't look like a typical US escort. But it was also interesting that some of the vessels were able to leave right away via the Iran route, while others turned back. I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Visible AIS data-wise, there were no other escorts that took place. Inbound VLCCs were zero today for the first time since the MOU was signed. I will need to check the satellite data tomorrow, but I'm sure some went in; we just don't know right now. What's clear, however, is that the Oman route will be heavily contested in the coming days. Any assumption of normality in the Strait of Hormuz is wishful thinking. Here is the video from MarineTraffic and I've included the table of inbound tankers.show more

Organic anti-AI sentiment is dropping. It's pretty obvious. Even... some of the anti-datacenter narrative was boosted by Chinese bots and operatives. The remaining antis are a mix of bots and the usual chorus of unemployed artists who have the free time to continue to crash out on Twitter because their art was never good enough to compete with AI, nor were they intelligent enough to use AI as part of their workflow. For me, the reality is that I enjoy AI slop over all the woke slop that is astroturfed into modern entertainment. I don't care about garbled text or all the glitches... I just want to be entertained, and there is no better way to do it than self-directed entertainment. ... and here I'm just testing some long hair physics... yes, that's what I'm doing...show more

Mavics, electronic warfare, equipment, batteries - nothing passes, everything is checked and some are simply removed and confiscated. It is unknown when they will be unblocked. Already their volunteers are complaining that they cannot import anything. They say that this month they will start to have a shortage of equipment and spare parts.show more

People are busy castigating Andrew Mwenda Andrew M. Mwenda... for announcing the next King of Tooro. Honestly, that outrage is misdirected. I almost joined in too, because yesterday carried an unbearable emotional weight. But let’s be honest, the real offence wasn’t Mwenda’s, it was the cabal that convened a succession meeting before King Oyo’s body had even reached the Karuzika. If Mwenda hadn’t spoken, someone else in that room would have. The disingenuousness was in the timing, not the messenger. That meeting could have been held a day before the burial, not during the most sacred moment of grief. Holding it yesterday was not just disrespectful, it was move a calculated move to humiliate a grieving mother of a fallen King. In my view, it was vindictive, intentional, and executed with cold precision: stripping a mother of her royal dignity while her son who happened to be fallen reigning King lay dead. It was not really procedural. They rushed that meeting because they feared the emotional force of the burial would influence the decision. They wanted a sterile room, not a grieving kingdom. And in the end, the timing served no noble purpose: only their own known agenda. May King Oyo rest in peace and enter the Kingdom of the God he worshipped and loved. May Queen Best Kemigisa find strength in the lord: Isaiah 40:29: "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak."show more

There's something about a dad's laugh that fixes things... faster than any first aid kit. Saying "not bad" instead of "are you okay?" was perfect-because the second you ask if he's okay, the tears start flowing. That little moment kept him tough, kept him smiling, and turned it into a win instead of a meltdown. That's top-tier dad work right there. Great job. 👍show more
