Here’s a look at my AR keychain prototype !!... 🥹🩷 You can swap out icons (for now only the ones i’ve animated… and u know there's is a lot!!), scan it trough filters (for now) and my animation shows up I actually started with a card format at first, but i wanted to spend more time on the designs, so i went with keychains for the first release, i didn’t want to make regular keychains either, and bringing AR together with my animations lets people actually "hold" them instead of them just living on my pc, it makes them feel alive and interactive, something i’ve wanted to try ever since the Nintendo 3ds AR cards 🥹 This is my 4th prototype gulp, and my 5th is already done Will be 3D, look and feel better, will be thinner, doesn’t need the rotating system anymore etc.. (i'm choosing between wood or acrylic for the final version) And in the future, i’m planning to design and make my own app (alrdy started :D) so it doesn’t rely on tiktok/instagram/snap filters, and the animations will be interactive too !! :D i’m also designing custom borders so you can use your keychain without a league border if u don't wanna look like a full on nerd, and i’m working on more AR formats beyond keychains :D More soon, i’m really excited 🥹🩷show more

*** SEGA GENESIS/MEGADRIVE - SCALING PART 1 *** I've... been exploring software scaling on the 68k cpu using a background layer rather than scaling sprites. There are a few advantages, no sprite boundaries to worry about so moving pixels is faster also cheaper vertical scaling by adjusting vertical scroll midscreen. The net result is you can manage larger scales more efficiently as the CPU can spend more time working on the horizontal scaling whilst the VDP helps with the vertical scaling (there is still a non trivial cpu cost there though). Here I'm scaling an early image of the Lufthoheit logo - but the goal is to use this in the game also for very large scales / either background effects or bosses. The scaler and Interupt handler are written in Assembly for speed and I think could be faster yet with some optimisations, word alignment moves etc. The scaler has the ability to expand > full screen in height (from a more limited base height) and up to 3x the image width at present. I need to add double buffering and possibly go a bit larger yet. I'm excited to get these effects into the game as large scaling effects we didn't often see on the Genesis ! Seeing all of the little details really come together... is one of those very special and magical moments of video game creation. I love how this cinematic shot from No Rest for the Wicked's opening really came to life with beautiful stylized hand crafted hair and facial animation, striking visual effects with fluid simulation, beautiful set, ship sails flapping against the wind animated by our custom made cloth solver, painterly golden rim lighting and all of this running in our custom Moonity engine in real-time. And of course there's so much more with our story, sound and music for you all to experience! You may win without it, and let skill and strategy shine, but it won't be sustainable The things that Jordan does extremely well that need to be highlighted are: - energy - communication - mid-rounding voice - emotional awareness - effort - mental resilience - ability to stay focused when the match matters High Performance is a combination of talent and skills for sure, but more importantly it's: - attitude - behaviours - consistency - mindset - focused attention - awareness of mental intensity - intention to improve - intention to execute As you continue to build your skills in game, be sure to elevate your High Performance skills overall. It starts with awareness, then influence, then consistency! If you typically stream with a 3D model, I... highly recommend that you pose your model when you’re not doing full body mocap instead of letting it stay in the stiff generic pose! It makes a huge difference in how your energy is conveyed (ᗒ⩊ᗕ)⸝ި ʕᦏ⌎ I’m only saying this because I noticed this a lot with my own 3D kids, but here’s a comparison showcase: ← default pose & default pendulum physics in Warudo → custom poses & slightly adjusted pendulum physics If you find it hard to pose within Warudo by using bone offsets or none of the existing poses in Warudo vibe with you, you can make your own like me! I made my custom poses in “VRM Posing Desktop” (this is the BEST vrm posing app I’ve ever used in the past 3 years) and exported them as Unity anims then dropped them into Warudo’s animation folder! You can then make a simple blueprint in Warudo to toggle between poses and make your model look more alive! It should fit especially well for just chatting streams 🙂‍↕️✨show more

I suffered a foot fracture during training and, after medical evaluation, I was instructed to have surgery and focus 100% on recovery. It's not easy to stay out of something I've been preparing for with so much dedication, and without a doubt this would be the most advantageous fight of my career but I understand that this is just another challenge on the way and I trust the plans that Allah has for me!
