Excited to share my latest project glimm is a... React and Next.js library for delightful shader-driven page transitions. It animates a WebGL band across the screen during route changes or any state change if selected. The new view appears underneath as the band moves. It is GPU-accelerated, under 10 KB, and remains idle until triggered.show more

I'm using GPT Image 2 to create a video... concept for a weapon selection screen for CHILD OF THE SOIL. When I initially made the short film I always envisioned this as an open world hack and slash video game inspired by my own continent of Africa. As an avid gamer I wanted to just quickly envision different weapons Nyoni can use as she traverses the world. Of course there is no video game here, it's just a rough idea presented purely as a video. The video sequence is just cycling through 4 different images and I used Seedance 2.0 omni to generate the video. I added music in post. Prompt: A static shot shows a video game menu screen. During the sequence it selects different weapons. It selects all 4 different weapon types. Ensure the item in her hand changes to show the selected item. Every time a weapon is selected she poses and analyzes it. The wooden animal next to her is looking around. Do not change any text. No music, only sound fx when the weapons change. No dialogue.show more

Preacher Kids is out now! It’s a new era.... A new band. A sound I’ve had in my head for years, finally brought to life by just hitting record and playing what felt right. Buy it, stream it, and turn it all the way up! 🔥show more

This is a nice county project for Lake St... in Uptown (even if it stops a block short of connecting to the city's new bike route on Hennepin), but it makes me wonder why we have to wait a decade or more for the city to bring curb protection to 26th and 28th streets.show more

Only in Oklahoma. Tulsa's new musical road, our first... for the state and the nation's first located on a bridge, is officially here. And yes, it plays "This Land Is Your Land." I built a clone of the Yeezy store with... Next.js. This was a fun challenge — the site has some smooth animations and feels very fast. But it was bothering me that I couldn't use the browser back button. Can we do better? So I rebuilt the site with v0 and Motion. Here's how it works: 1. When you click on a product, Motion is able to animate the original position of the product in the grid, to the zoomed in product detail page. 2. During this transition, we also shallow update the URL with the `/p/slug` route for the page. 3. If you press the back button in the navbar, or use the browser back button, or press escape — all options will take you back to the main product listing page. 4. If you reload the page while looking at a product, or someone sends you a link to a specific product, it still works! This is the best parts of a SPA and MPA mixed together. In the future, I can make this even better with View Transitions (I wasn't able to get the product animation just right, but if you can I'd love to see it!). I also took some creative liberties from the original design. The whole 1/2/3 size thing, where you needed to click the "?" to see SM/MD/LG was strange, so I just went directly to those sizes. Similarly, I prefered the more traditional style sheet/modal with the background color change, versus the full screen takeover. If you wanted to actually hook this up to Shopify now, you can swap the cart implementation with Next.js Commerce, which has all the APIs you need + optimistic writes 🔥 Should I make a video walking through the code?show more

🚀 Excited to share our #ICLR2025 work on planning... with neural dynamics models! While our lab has developed diverse neural dynamics models for manipulating rigid, deformable, and granular objects, having the model alone doesn’t solve the problem—planning with it remains a challenge. 💡 Enter BaB-ND, led by Keyi and Jiangwei! We propose a scalable, GPU-accelerated branch-and-bound algorithm, inspired by neural network verification, to enable effective planning for diverse objects modeled with neural dynamics. 🔗 Project page (open-source + detailed docs!): 🎥 Watch the video to see T being pushed around obstacles, and check out Keyi’s thread for more details!show more

We are investing in the frontiers of agentic capabilities... with a few early prototypes. Project Mariner is built with Gemini 2.0 and is able to understand and reason across information - pixels, text, code, images + forms - on your browser screen, and then uses that info to complete tasks for you. When evaluated against the WebVoyager benchmark, it achieved a state-of-the-art result of 83.5% working as a single agent setup.show more

Re-electing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not merely a... political project; it is a national call driven by the desire to sustain ongoing reforms, consolidate progress and secure Nigeria's future. That is why the conversation is everywhere across communities, markets, workplaces, campuses, social gatherings and the media. Millions of Nigerians understand that nation-building requires continuity, consistency and the courage to stay the course. Whether you agree or disagree politically, one thing is clear: the call for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has become a dominant national conversation, resonating across different regions and among diverse groups of Nigerians and we must make it happen..show more

This conflict is a religious conflict. It is a... war Islam waged against the world the day Muhammad sent his letter to the Roman emperor, calling on him to convert to Islam or face the Islamic army. It is a religious war that began when Muhammad massacred the Jews of the Arabian Peninsula. It is a religious war that continued when Muslim armies invaded and occupied the Levant, North Africa, and Spain. It is a religious war that continued when Muslims erased Christian civilization across the old Christian world and made it Islamic. It is a religious war that continued when Muslims took over lands that did not belong to them and Islamized them. It is a religious war that Muslims waged against the Jews who refused to live as dhimmis under Islam in the land of their ancestors. You are ruling a land that once did not belong to Islam, and the Muslims you rule are the descendants of Christians who were subjugated by your ancestors. Wow! Send A File By Just The Camera! A... vibe coder used AI to build a file transfer system that sends data between two phones using only a screen and a camera. One phone displays a new type of animated QR codes while the other scans them to rebuild the file, with no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cables needed. It is fully optical and local. The system uses fountain codes that create each QR frame as a random mix of file data. This keeps transfers working even if some frames are missed, reaching speeds of about 129 KB/s for a 2 MB image. The entire project was built in one night and released as open source. The idea came from a music project where the developer wanted to share MP3 files without streaming or using the same network. Animated QR codes became the solution, showing a creative new way to transfer files with everyday phone hardware. GitHub link:show more

Multi-robot learning is getting a serious boost! 📚 Researchers... have extended Isaac Lab to train heterogeneous multi-agent robotic policies at scale. The new framework supports high-resolution physics, GPU-accelerated simulation, and both homogeneous and heterogeneous agents working together on coordination tasks. They benchmarked different approaches (MAPPO: Multi-Agent Proximal Policy Optimization and HAPPO: Heterogeneous Agent PPO) across six challenging scenarios and showed that large-scale multi-robot training is not only feasible, but efficient. It’s an important step for real-world robotic collaboration, where teams of robots need to coordinate, split tasks, adapt roles, and interact dynamically, not just operate as identical clones. The code is open-source, and it pushes Isaac Lab closer to what robotics actually needs: scalable, physics-driven environments where many different robots can learn to work together.
