Flat surfaces are boring. Textures, when used thoughtfully, can... transform user experience. We added subtle Perlin noise to our map tiles. Why? It helps users "anchor their eyes" to something tangible, reducing disorientation when zooming in/out. Small details, big impact. 🧵👇show more

NEED SUGGESTIONS for community, do drop in your suggestions😊... We are trying to improve the readability of articles. At present most of the blog DSA sites have lengthy articles which you read via scrolling. It looks daunting when you start with it. At TakeUforward, we are trying to change this, and help out users with an easier way to navigate and read. We want the logic to be something as you can see in the video.. the design is just a rough one, and is no where close to what we want it to be. The typical article will have problem statement, examples, followed by this sticky bar, which helps us to navigate, and ease out reading.. You can feel free to suggest more changes we can do, or some design recommendations. We can hire someone for this, but I will prefer recommendations from people who use it rather than someone who does not. RT for good Karma ♥️show more

In Japan, a Muslim woman’s bicycle didn’t have a... light. That’s against the rules there. When someone pointed it out to her, she started saying, “My eyes are really good, I can see everything even in the dark. Japanese people’s eyes are bad.” It's the exact same mindset that insists, We are different, our rules are different, and you are the ones who are wrong. These people flout rules everywhere, and the moment anyone calls them out, they start screaming Islamophobia.show more

Padawans! 👋👋 We are excited to announce the launch... of Vaults powered by Teahouse Finance 🚀 Check it out at Vaults solve common issues with concentrated liquidity: - Automated range selection for adding liquidity - Automated rebalancing - Gas fee savings - Claiming rewards and auto-compounding it for more returns Since the launch of Jediswap v2, which features concentrated liquidity, we have spoken to many users and projects about their challenges. We found that concentrated liquidity, while improving capital efficiency, actually makes things harder for both of them. Most users struggled with: - Finding it hard to choose price ranges when adding liquidity - Many forgot to check if their liquidity was still in range and earning fees - They had trouble optimizing and compounding rewards. Projects, which often airdrop their tokens to early users to increase liquidity in their pools, faced multiple challenges that lead to low user engagement: - Users, usually retail investors, face the user issues mentioned above - Early-stage tokens are very volatile, frequently causing liquidity to go out of range. - Projects aiming to use their treasury tokens for liquidity lack in-house experts to manage these positions effectively. Backed by Teahouse’s automated strategies, Vaults solves all of these issues and makes liquidity provision for users and projects a breeze. Users no longer need to worry about out-of-range positions or complex management. Projects can easily leverage airdrop recipients for liquidity and manage treasury tokens efficiently, even in volatile markets. Whether you're a retail user or a project team, Vaults makes concentrated liquidity work for you. ☺️ To celebrate the launch of Vaults, we have published a new campaign on Galxe, which rewards users with an NFT and a Discord role for being early users of Jediswap vaults. To earn the Galxe NFT, add at least $25 worth of liquidity to one of the vaults and hold it for at least 24 hours.show more

Jokes aside these things are real. There is actually... something called the “Sit Down Smell” I recall an experience i had in 2021 during the Dubai Expo in Dubai Expo City , we got talking with some ladies , I think we met them at the Colombian Pavilion or so , two of them , they were with mad big BBL stuffed ass shaped like a heart or hour glass , pleasing to the eyes and pleasant to our Blokus , it was fun at first but we noticed they would periodically shower themselves with perfumes , we thought they were only trying to be exotic not until we got to BLU Dubai ( an exclusive nightclub) that was when the sit down smell kicked the erection right inside and made the penis flat and flaccid …….show more

Woman in in Western Illinois says Can someone please... explain to me how families are surviving right now?! Just opened our electric bill for the month: over $400 ($399 just for electric alone!). Mind you, we were gone on vacation for an entire week and turned the thermostat up before we left! And our home is 1200 sq ft. It’s not even about whether we can pay it—it’s the principle of it. How are people doing this? Thinking back to when I was a single mom, a bill like this would have completely ruined me. It’s more than my house payment used to be. Something in our world is seriously broken right now.show more

Alone in the wild after she Notty lost her... mother in a cliff fall. Alone, she couldn’t fend for herself. That’s when we donned our striped coats and stepped in to guide her from rescue to reintegration. Why the coat? They enable foals to imprint on a consistent pattern, helping them settle and bond with their caregivers. It's a small detail that has a big impact, and donations make it possible funding specialist Keeper care (and coats). This month, what difference do you want to make? For the price of a pay day coffee, could you donate a nutritious milk feed to an orphan, or a blanket to keep an baby warm. Find out more:show more

Why import when we can make it better? One... spring costs ₹10. We will use 50,000 every month → ₹60L/yr That’s $66,000 saved in foreign exchange exits from just ONE part. It also means: ✅ Jobs at factories ✅ Jobs at steel & plating plants ✅ Jobs at wire-making plants Millions of small parts like these can be made in India. Stop importing. Start making here. evening all, hope ur good and enjoying your weekend... 🤓 some news about Wired: there’s a small roller update coming in one of our next releases. After it arrives, you’ll be able to stack them on top of other furni, and the roller limit will be removed a small note for people who use rollers as collision items in their Wired set up: rollers can now move when they are used in this way. Thomas Alexander Sharp just said what millions are thinking:... “You can’t use a straw in the West because these people are throwing their detritus straight into the river… directly in the Ganges… out to the ocean.” Then he asks the question our politicians refuse to answer: “Why do we need people from this land that don’t seem to love their own land… come to our land and expect them to love our land and our customs and cultures?” It boggles the mind. We’re told we must accept unlimited immigration from societies that treat their own rivers like open sewers — while we get lectured about plastic straws, carbon taxes, and “climate emergency.” Then we’re surprised when our own cities start looking like the places they left. This isn’t about race. It’s about culture, values, and basic civic responsibility. If they don’t maintain their own country, why do we think they’ll maintain ours? Every person complaining about this doesnt even use it... in their games. On the contrary someone like Faker i went into his vod he did it in EVERY single ranged vs melee matchup. that is the difference, yes you are good but youre not faker level good to complain about this Went through 3 top ranked mid laners and not a single one used this mechanic. Maybe you can pull up a clip in some game somewhere but if youre not taking advantage of it every game it is good to then is it really game breaking if they remove it? can we stop acting like changes like this impact us when we dont even use it, just crying to cry to act like we were so much better than everyone elseshow more

Free’ing up cashflow from your business to diversify in... other assets. We used to have 7 figures + in inventory (inventory risk) when working with stock management across multiple warehouses locally. Our supply-chain restructuring to China D2C fulfillment has unlocked so much cashflow for us that we can constantly re invest in - to real estate and other assets. Diversifying risk while also tapping in to other opportunities that we get handed. I feel that ecom brands sometimes blind stare in to one direction. That the way they structure stuff is the only possible way. There is so much more out there that once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Asking yourself why you ‘ve never thought about this before. China direct-to-consumer fulfilment is one of these things, when applied right. All our brands fulfill with Ecomflow to ship worldwide in 3-10 days.show more

People do this kind of thing when they feel... they are experiencing reality at a high frame rate. It does not feel risky to hold a laptop by a corner if you feel like you have an “agency frame” every half second. It feels risky if you have an “agency frame” every 60 seconds. You’d be betting that a hand you do not have control over for 60 seconds will keep gripping. Our conscious frame rate can vary dramatically throughout the day, and it’s hard to perceive the difference because we can only sample ourselves at our conscious frame rate, we can’t oversample ourselves. People drunk drive because they fail to perceive their slower frame rate. Their frame rate feels normal because it matches their sample rate. But we do get a subtle sense of when we’re “switched on”. Everything seems to go easier, everything feels less risky and more easy to correct. A lot of people toward the autistic side of the spectrum are experiencing reality very granularly with a “high agency frame rate”. This is why their social interactions can seem overly forced and awkward, they can be bad at dancing, etc—because they are exerting conscious control over their body and language at very tight intervals—you get a sense that they are extremely “self aware” and not “letting go”. “Letting go” in the social sense is actually about reducing your agency frame rate. That’s why alcohol is good for socializing and bad for driving. With a reduced agency frame rate our speech and body language feels more natural, less forced. More like we are flowing with the social group mind rather than being an island of constant awkward agency.show more

You know that feeling when you've been at sea... a long time and something in your body knows land is close before your eyes do. Something ancient in the blood. That's now. Right now. We've been in the dark so long some of us forgot what we were looking for. Kept moving anyway. Sheer bloody stubbornness. Ireland knew that trick. You don't need to see the end. You just need to keep your hand on the thread and refuse to let go. We refused. All those years. All those dead ends and betrayals and moments where the sane thing would have been to quit and go live a small quiet life and pretend. We didn't. And now listen to me. The forest is thinning. I can feel it in my chest like a pressure change. The trees are getting lighter. The ground is different underfoot. We are not there yet but brother we are close enough to smell it. Something enormous is unlocking right now across this planet in the minds of ordinary people and it cannot be reversed. Cannot. They've thrown everything. It wasn't enough. It was never going to be enough because you cannot keep the truth caged forever, it has no metabolism, it doesn't get tired, it just waits. We waited with it. And now we are walking out of this thing. Heads up. Backs straight. Free men. Like we always were supposed to be.show more

The pre pitch is something i’ve used for a... while. When you have those long games and it’s hard to focus EVERY pitch, try this and see how it can keep you in the fight and locked in. 🔍 The Pre-Pitch Routine, with the hop, helps you establish a strong foundation for fielding. It readies your body for quick movements, putting you in a prime position to react swiftly to any play. 💥 💭 But there's more to it! The mental advantages are equally significant. By incorporating a routine, you cultivate focus and concentration, shutting out distractions during high-pressure moments. 🎯🏆 🧠 Studies reveal that players with consistent Pre-Pitch Routines, including the hop, experience a remarkable increase in confidence and composure. This mental fortitude can be a game-changer during intense innings. 💪 #BaseballTips #PrePitchRoutine #MentalGameMattersshow more

I love this perspective from #NBAFinals bound San Antonio... Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson on the tension between potential and experience: Experience is valuable, but it doesn't tell the whole story. 📖 Our brains 🧠 tend to naturally trust what they've already seen. A familiar outcome. A more predictable asset. A long résumé. A player with years of reps. Someone with a collection of war stories and proven results. The bias is so easily formed. But it's important to remember as leaders, experience only tells you where someone HAS been. It doesn't tell you what their habits look like today. It doesn't reveal their hunger, their discipline, their willingness to learn, or the standards they hold themselves to when nobody is watching. Experience isn't correlated to their TRAJECTORY. 📈📉 That's why we sometimes overlook youth and inexperience. It happens in every industry, not just sports. "Bosses" often mistake a lack of history for a lack of ability. Past performance can provide clues, but it doesn't guarantee future success. The future is often built by the person whose habits are stronger than their résumé. Experience tells you where someone's from. Habits tell you where they're going. If you're trying to do something transformational, spend less time obsessing over what's already happened and more time focused on what's happening right now: the reps you can control, the hours of preparation you can invest, the standards you can uphold today with zero grace. Because counter intuitively, experience isn't gained in big moments. It's accumulated in EVERY moment. In every rep. In every habit. In how you approach anything and everything. The game is just where those habits reveal themselves to the public. Old dogs know where the food is, but the hungry dogs will always run further. 🐶show more

I'm building my game with GPT-6, and color correction... has become one of my favorite uses for it. When I generate assets separately, I can like each one on its own and still end up with a scene where the colors don't belong together. A castle looks fine in isolation, then turns greenish against the terrain. Its swords and shields disappear into the background. Getting those things to match used to mean a lot of repainting and trying different textures. Now I've built a workflow where GPT-6 takes screenshots in Unity, inspects the object's color textures, and helps bring them closer to the look I want. I can give it the terrain or tree textures as color references. It can prepare masks, send the relevant textures through Image Edit, then put the result back into the game for another look. Editors such as GPT Image 2 Edit or Nano Banana Edit can be part of that workflow. This is also why I keep pushing for properly prepared 3D models. If the parts are separated logically, you get much more control later. We could work on the swords and shields without changing the whole castle. The stone could stay dark while the equipment became easier to read. The latest pass on my game covered the overall post effects and the skeleton castles. We matched the castles to the surrounding terrain, adjusted the equipment colors, and added a subtle moving highlight. The first stronger color pass went too far. I asked for the accents to move about 30% closer to gray, and that got them where I wanted: visible, without pulling all the attention. I'm so happy with the difference. The video shows the before and after across the map and on the castles. Being able to give feedback on the actual scene and keep refining it this way feels great.show more
