From the e/acc trenches to watching Extropic ship. Congrats... Beff @ NeurIPS can't wait to run this on actual stochastic silicon instead of simulating it digitally. 65k spins finding equilibrium using THRML. Extropic's THRML library built for their thermodynamic hardware. Currently Running on GPU/CPU now, but one day we might all be running quantum on our devices. Traditional computing fights physics (force bits to 0/1). Thermodynamic computing uses physics (p-bits that naturally fluctuate). For sampling problems, that's orders of magnitude more efficient. This is energy-based inference in your hands. I would have never ventured into looking into this, still way over my head but its so fucking cool wish I could have had the capital to put cheques into extropic, nous_research and rysana but lets build to the top.show more

🚨 SCIENTISTS MAY HAVE JUST FOUND A WAY TO... CONTROL MAGNETISM USING ONLY LIGHT Researchers demonstrated “all-optical control” of antiferromagnetic materials — meaning magnetic states can now potentially be written and switched using ultrafast laser pulses instead of electric currents. Why this matters: Most modern computing systems rely on moving electrical charge. But future technologies may use “spin” instead of charge a field known as spintronics. Antiferromagnetic materials are especially exciting because they: • switch incredibly fast • consume less energy • generate almost no stray magnetic interference • could store massive amounts of data The problem? They’ve been notoriously difficult to control. Now scientists may have discovered a way to manipulate them using light itself. In simple terms: Future memory devices may one day write information at near-light speeds using ultrafast laser pulses instead of traditional electronics. This could eventually impact: • AI hardware • ultra-fast computing • next-generation memory • quantum technologies • energy-efficient data centers The future of computing may not just be electronic. It may become photonic and spin-based. Follow for more future physics and technology breakthroughs.show more

OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ... Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. Sounds like the guidelines for this definition will be changing, either this season, or certainly for next season.show more

Western politicians, based on a secret and shameful deal... in Doha, have sold the present and future of Afghan women into the hands of that wild group that cannot be compared to the animals of the forest too! In our culture treating a woman like this would result in death, but now this is happening on the streets of my country, because Afghans have already been sold by so-called human rights organizations, and Afghan men are silent because of the fear of death unfortunately 😡 But I am optimistic that Afghan women will definitely one day take revenge for their humiliation from their internal and external enemies. This path is difficult but not impossible!show more

I just built my own wiki generator plugin for... my agents. My agents can now generate wikis for anything I ask. One of my favorite wikis is called PaperWiki. This is a great example of what Andrej Karpathy describes. It uses obsidian vaults to organize papers, retrieve LLM-generated summaries, diagrams, and other advanced views for paper exploration. When Obsidian UI is not enough, I use my own artifact generator inside my agent orchestrator (see clip for example). This allows my agents to build any kind of view or exploration feature that I need. The papers are all curated with automations and several rules/patterns I have manually built over the years. On the surface, this looks basic. But behind the scenes, there are advanced search capabilities, connections, metadata, derived data, and other interesting bits of information that are extremely useful for my research agents. This is mostly built for agents. The artifact preview is just a high-level way to validate and quickly assess the quality of the wiki, suggest improvements, and it's also great for research. I use tobi lutke's qmd for all search capabilities. Everything is markdown. The summaries and even the diagrams. The wiki updates on its own based on several automations I have optimized over the past couple of weeks. The wiki grows and self-improves based on several requirements important for my research use cases. This is as personalized as it gets. There is nothing like it out there. And I use my research expertise to continue improving it over time. This is a vanilla wiki. There are so many things I want to build on top of this. Different aggregations, views, artifacts, etc. All to help automate more of my research work and accelerate productivity. I think the biggest leverage here is how powerful this could be for discovery and experimentation. One of my goals is to use it to find deeper connections and insights that would otherwise elude the top human researchers and use those to generate interesting new hypotheses and research experiments. That way, my agents can use autoresearch to explore research ideas at the frontier. Stay tuned for more.show more

All this before they find the shooter. They just... assume it couldn’t have been one of their own to further their agenda. I hated Charlie Kirk, I genuinely wouldn’t have pissed on him if he was on fire, but any idiot knows that killing him would only spark these idiots into thinking they were right, to push them further into their derangement and propaganda that they deep throat on the daily. Again, I hated Charlie Kirk, but for anyone on the left to kill him would be stupid. The American far right had so much more to gain by putting his lights out in such a public way. I’m excited to announce that Humanic has been acquired!... We built Humanic to capture how the best sales teams think, decide, and act to translate that into actionable context. Enterprise sales conversations deserved a true decision layer for automated judgment, and after 2M+ minutes of deal conversations, we’re proud to have set that in motion. Growing up in India, abhi and I admired the behemoths of Silicon Valley, but joining forces with one was not on our cards. It’s an honor. I wish I could divulge more, but our lawyers say we have to wait. We want to thank our earliest believers, our users, and the ones who stayed. It's still day one here in SF, and we are just getting started! See you in the next chapter.show more

By Thursday, we will be announcing Phase IV of... the Health Insurance for vulnerable citizens in Kaduna. The figure takes us to over 1, 000 in partnership with KACHMA. I missed being in the office. In the next few weeks, I will state my position politically. I owe the public that. I always state whatever I do through my handles. I was with my father for a few hours and he is fine with me running. As God is my witness, and on behalf of the excellent people Kaduna North, I will be running for office in 2027, if alive. We will still focus on the job we were elected to do, and there are a few leaders, Northern Statesmen and fathers that I have to speak to. My position is peculiar. But I have tried to handle with honour and dignity. My wife and I have decided this is the right course. And my people are with me, on social media and offline. I have never feared an election for a day. But it is the right of anyone to try. Respect that right knowing my record speaks for me. Thank you.show more

I’m so sorry from the bottom of my heart... for putting this in public domain. But if you look away, it will come your way. IT IS GRAPHIC. I have never imagined to be one to publish anything remotely close to it, but against the evil propaganda and lies we must put the documentation. This video is from the massacre at the Reim music festival. It includes a part of the hiding time and then when the rescue finally arrives. The guy that made it later said that he was saved thanks to the bodies that were on him. #HamasIsIsis 💔show more

I mean you do have a very good point,... however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.show more

This is one of my turntables for Bumblebee's damage... variant from Transformers Rise of the Beasts. We use renders like these to critique our work on the characters in a sterile environment before putting them into shots. Normally, fans don't get to see these behind the scenes looks at our characters, but I convinced the marketing team to also include this turntable in the official breakdown for the film as I think it is super cool to see how the characters are made and brought to life. I have so much behind the scenes work to share about Transformers but unfortunately 99% of it is under NDA so the odds are that no one else will ever see them, as unfortunate as that is.show more

I look at all markets. Sectors, asset classes, bonds,... metals, energy, and sentiment. Why? Because there is a finite amount of liquidity in the system, and it all has to go somewhere. The main driver is fundamentals, but every now and then, macro comes into play. We have literally gone straight up for the last 6 weeks. Sure, it might be time for a pullback, but it was also time 2 weeks ago. However, let’s not kid ourselves, the last 6 weeks have been the most outstanding performance of my our career. You can never sell the top, and you’ll never catch the bottom consistently. My best ideas have done VERY well YTD and have had breakneck rallies in the last 6 weeks. No, I didn’t go all in on software. I also didn’t go all in on oil stocks at the worst time possible or FOMO into $NBIS or $MRVL today. I have been looking hard at leading themes every day. No breaks. That is exactly what I do. And I love it. I learn every day from everyone. There are so many people to thank, but the job is not over. The job is never done. Keep going. Whether long, short, flat… just keep going. I ALWAYS will. This is my vow to the community. God bless. 🫡show more

I feel like there is some kind of stagnation... in my soul. I don't feel hopeless or tired, but suddenly everything became less interesting. I have to do something to wake up my soul so I can go back to how I was. I am the one who insisted on living, even if life was only room for my feet. I wonder what happened to me. I have become just a mass of flesh without a soul. I lost my passion and love for life.. My dear friends and loved ones .. This is your friend Mo from Gaza and this is an update The military operation is still continuing in northern Gaza... and there are more evacuation orders for the north and more displacement. I heard from one of the merchants that he has some cat food in Jabalia... but the area is dangerous there... Approximately he has 15 to 20 boxes Each box contains 24 cans Despite that, I said let's try to go, but we have to be careful... I went with my cousin Animal world We went to the furthest place we could reach. The picture below shows us at the Qurm Junction, and anyone who is in Gaza knows that it is the entrance to Jabalia... Unfortunately, we did not dare to approach any closer than that... We heard the sounds of explosions and saw plumes of smoke and the sounds of gunfire. Drones were flying densely over our heads. So we backed down and decided to go again today.. but the weather is very, very rainy today.. We will go again on Wednesday.. I wish we had access to cat food. It is more beneficial for them.. My friends and loved ones.. There is still the possibility of donating to buy the largest possible amount of food for them Or on the PayPal link It appears that the talks have reached a dead end. In this case, I should buy as much as possible. Today we can buy.. Who knows? Perhaps we will not be able to go and search in a few days... as I am doing now... I am grateful to someone who stood by my side during these difficult times. Your loving friend Moshow more

GOD CAN DO ALL THINGS in the mighty name... of Jesus Christ, I pray for the acceleration of the generational wealth transfer for $XRP. I pray for the Brandon Biggs Brandon Biggs prophecy of #XRP going to five dollars quickly then one day $10,000 per coin. I pray for everyone watching this to go into the word of God, pray on the wealth transfer. Not for the love of money, but instead for the righteous ones to receive a massive blessing where the righteous ones can pour back into the world abundantly to further the growth of the lords kingdom. More churches, all around the world I proclaim more churched to be paid for and donated and built by the righteous ones who have faith in this wealth transfer. Jesus, we pray for an acceleration but we also trust in your timing. Gods timing is the best and is perfect although it may not feel like that at times. We trust in you lord. Thank you in advance. “Bruce Lee had me up to three miles a... day, really at a good pace. We'd run the three miles in twenty-one or twenty-two minutes. Just under eight minutes a mile [Note: when running on his own in 1968, Lee would get his time down to six-and-a-half minutes per mile]. So this morning he said to me ‘We're going to go five.’ I said, ‘Bruce, I can't go five. l'm a helluva lot older than you are, and I can't do five.’ He said, ‘When we get to three, we'll shift gears and it's only two more and you'll do it.’ I said ‘Okay, hell, I'll go for it.’ So we get to three, we go into the fourth mile and I'm okay for three or four minutes, and then I really begin to give out. I'm tired, my heart's pounding, I can't go any more and so I say to him, ‘Bruce, if I run any more, — and we're still running — ‘if I run any more I'm liable to have a heart attack and die.’ He said, ‘Then die’ It made me so mad that I went the full five miles. Afterward I went to the shower and then I wanted to talk to him about it. I said, you know, ‘Why did you say that?’ He said, ‘Because you might as well be dead. Seriously, if you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it'll spread over into the rest of your life. It'll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.’” - John Little, “The Art of Expressing the Human Body” (1998)show more

Here it comes Starting out in Australia I never... thought things like this were possible. No one from Australia had ever “made it” so the idea that anything like this would ever be a reality seemed so far fetched. This week I got to wrestle in front of over ten thousand, countless friends and family, do interviews with the news outlets I grew up watching, test myself against some of the greatest to ever do it and just so happened to get into the best shape of my life for it. Plus I got to share my beautiful country with my beautiful life partner for the first time (and see Bodhi the golden) This entire week has felt surreal. Overwhelming at times but all worth it for one of the best days of my life. Thank you for being a part of it in any way, it will never be lost on me how blessed I am to live this life. I’m gonna be riding this high for a long time.show more

Today, I completed my last chemotherapy treatment and am... blessed to say that I have conquered cancer. The Lord has helped me through this difficult time and we have come out on the other side victorious. This has definitely been the hardest journey I have had to take in my entire life. Going into this, I had doubts, fear, and was really anxious on how this would affect me mentally and physically. But, fear is a choice, and I chose not to fear Cancer. Throughout the tough treatments, the times where I had no optimism, and the numerous amount of bumps in the road, God’s love for me never failed. I cannot thank the doctors and nurses at Texas Children’s and MD Anderson enough for their immense amount of help. Also, if it werent for the numerous amount of prayers, support from friends and family, and encouragement, I wouldn’t be in the situation I am now in. It feels great to say now that I HAVE BEAT THE HELL OUT OF CANCER💪 #BTHOCancershow more
