Great thread. It’s been really disappointing how the club... has sought to characterise all this this week. There has been no offer to take three years of price rises off the table and while that stays there that particular discussion is kicked into 2029. No one *wants* to protest but if club management wave away any further discussion on the matter, it’s inevitable. If today’s protest is supported well then things will likely escalate. And all for what? £1.2m? We’re not making it up that people are angry and pissed off - they are. They want LFC to do it differently - to lead the way on protecting supporter culture instead of enabling other clubs to continue the race to make match-going only something for the richest. Get a yellow card before the match and raise it on the 13th minute. 🟨 Show FSG The Yellow Card 🟨 ❌ Not A Pound In The Groundshow more

If this doesn’t prove how differently #THFC are officiated... to other teams, I don’t know what will! 🤦♂️ Paul Tierney on Kai Havertz tackle: “I’m going yellow. There’s no intensity to it” 🟨 Dermot Gallagher on Xavi Simons challenge on Van Dijk: “You can’t unsee that. It’s always going to be a red card. He’s always going to go for this, you cannot make that challenge!” 🟥 It’s a real shame the club don’t stand up for themselves against how we’ve been reffed this season. 🤷♂️show more

I understand what Russia wants to achieve with its... missile and drone strikes on Ukraine - namely, to destroy peaceful life and drive people into such a psychological state that they are ready to make any concessions just to end it all. However, such strikes have the opposite effect. They remind us that the war is ongoing and that it is not limited to the conflict in the east; they show that at any moment, a missile can take everything away from you. And the only way to prevent this from happening is to donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to hate the Russians even more. I think we can cite examples from World War II, when Hitler's attacks on Great Britain did not break its confidence in the struggle. If the Russians aimed to cause a massive blackout, they failed, wasting dozens of missiles worth tens of millions. But we understand that strikes on oil refineries and other targets must continue! PS: These are small fragments from real life that I filmed. The video may not show it, but the shock wave was strong enough to cause quite intense emotions in me.show more

So British Airways this is a joke .. we... land into Heathrow and there are no slots to park the plane . We then find a slot but its not attached to a gate so we to wait for a bus as there are no buses. Three buses finally show up and because there is now a shower someone has decided that any arrival which has steps and a bus, passengers are not allowed off the plane … this is ridiculous , the weather forecast says its going to rain for the next three hours .show more

📣📣HOW DOES THE STOCK MARKET WORK ❓️🤔 We are... lead to believe that supply and demand set the price. That when you purchase a stock you actually receive the stock. That markets are regulated and fair. That is all BS. Supply and demand can only set the price if there is a limited supply. But criminals have found a way to counterfeit shares way over the legally issued float. Meaning there is no longer a limited amount. Brokers are gatekeepers facilitating counterfeiting. As they are selling you something that doesn't exist they can't settle the trade. They take your money and deliver an IOU sometimes they deliver the shares but most of the time it's at a much lower price than you purchased it for. Do they give you back the difference in price❓️NO Do they always deliver at some point❓️NO if they bankrupt the company they get to keep all of the stolen money and never have to deliver. Surely Regulators like the SEC make sure this doesn't happen and if it does they are held accountable ❓️NO SEC has been found to be a compromised agency and called out for their questionable practices yet they themselves have never been investigated and faced any consequences. All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel... culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?show more

The same people that wished for Trump to be... assassinated are the same people that are saying the United Healthcare CEO deserved to d*e. Are you all not seeing what this country is turning into? It’s not okay to assassinate people no matter how you feel about them. Our nation is facing a spiritual plague. Evil has been rooted into the minds and spirits. Idk what it’s going to take to turn things around, but a major change is needed. Only God can help us. 🙏🏽 🇺🇸show more

Nic is actually one of those people that looked... perfect on the show but the more you keep up after, the more things just start… not adding up. It’s like everything he does has a layer of performance to it. The “good guy” image is a bit too polished, the way he moves is very calculated, and you can tell he’s very aware of how he wants to be perceived at all times. That kind of thing always cracks eventually. With Olandria I must laugh cause she’s blinded by her delusions, it’s nice on the surface, but if you’ve been paying attention, there are little moments that feel off. Not enough for people to clock immediately, but enough to make you side-eye. And that’s usually how it starts small inconsistencies before the real slip. I don’t think he’s as genuine as people want him to be, and honestly, it’s only a matter of time before something happens that people can’t defend or spin. When it does, I’m not even going to argue with anyone. I’ll just be here, because some of us already saw it coming. #LoveIslandUSA #olandria #NicholasVansteenbergheshow more

Buckle up friends. This is going to get VERY... ugly. Jack Smith has managed to do what no prosecutor before him has. Trump is now trapped in a court proceeding with limited options to delay, and a judge who has already proved to him that ‘presidents are not kings’. The victim card will hold no sway and if he steps out of line on the conditions of bail, I am confident she WILL hold him to account, so he should tread very carefully. The indictment is a masterful submission which leave’s his defense with a significant challenge. It has legal booby traps around every corner. There is no question, Trump has his back against the wall and his lawyers will have to bring their A game. While the above is a massive win for the rule of law, it presents a clear and present danger that Trump and his surrogates will incite his supporters to intimidate court staff, DOJ staff and witnesses. They ARE prepared to burn down the house to protect him. It may well lead to violence on the streets and for Republican lawmakers to attempt to paralyze government and take the DOJ hostage. This is NOT fear-mongering this is a real possibility. #DemsAct #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE #ONEV1 #FAM46show more

i’ve been very impressed by washington dc. government officials... are taking crypto seriously. they’re listening and want to make progress. they’re hyper aware of their mandate from trump. and they know how important it is to get clarity. plus, the city itself is the cleanest american city i’ve ever been to. the roads are perfectly paved. there is no litter on the streets. there are no homeless people. it’s a far cry from san francisco and new york. it makes me very bullish. because it shows that when they pay attention to the problems that matter, they can solve them.show more

To all of the people JUST learning about the... HORRIFIC stuff that's been done to children for sick thrills, political, monetary and leverage gain, come in and grab a chair. My advice to you, would be to find your nearest conspiracy theorist and have a discussion, or two, or three, depending on what you can actually handle because, it is DEEP, DARK and VERY SICK. Let me further educate you before your journey. Trump IS NOT one of these people. He is the "outsider" that started the ball rolling on this in the early 2000's. It doesn't matter what the media, your followers, or peer pressure is making you think. They are driving a narrative because the "outsider", the guy not allowed in the club anymore, KNOWS THEIR SECRETS. They want him gone, so business can continue as normal. This spans from your local cities, to your states, to the federal government, to other countries, all the way up to the people you now call the elites, the 1%. The World Banks, The WEF, The W.H.O., the U.N. It's how it's all been run, for at minimum, decades. It's done for control and power. I will say trust some of those people you have called crazy conspiracy theorists about this stuff for years and years. So much more of what they say is true, rather than not. A LOT of what you learned and were taught, was a lie. The term "Conspiracy Theorists" originated, to HIDE THE ACTUAL TRUTH! 🤔 We're not always right, but our track record is phenomenal. You'll see. Jus' Sayin' ✌️ Pray, A LOT!🙏🙏🙏 YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT FOR THIS ONE. GOD LOVES YOU AND BROUGHT YOU HERE FOR A REASON! Most of US, are at this stage,👇 ready for JUSTICE 👇 #WWG1WGA #NCSWICshow more

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in... the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtronshow more

The past year has seen me have a renaissance,... in the truest sense… I won’t go into details now but will at some point before long. What has brought so much happiness to my life and those around me this past year has been my falling back in love with sport. Cycling has, and always will be, my number one. Yet I’d forgotten that I simply love sport, not for results but for the sheer joy of doing it, I’d completely forgotten that the health of my mind is intrinsically connected to the health of my body. I’ve rediscovered the love I had for sport that existed before the world of professional cycling took over in the way it did. I’ve been pushing myself and trying new things this past year, indifferent to the results, just out having fun and at times going deeper than I thought I was capable of anymore. Last week I got on a TT bike for the first time in a decade, Factor Bikes built me a bike, I’ve been looking at it for two years and decided it was time to get fitted, getting back on it felt like going home. Anyway, the long and the short of this is that it’s inspired me to create a club to inspire and be inspired. A community for us to share our love for getting out there and doing it, because I’ve realized that although I spend most of my sporting life on my own I derive the most pleasure when feeling part of something. It’s in its early days, I’ve called it Sporting Club CHPT3 aka SCC3, I’d love you to check it out and join. It’s still in its infancy, but I hope it’s going to grow into something that will inspire you as much as me.show more

Nobody comes into my office and says they've been... losing ground for years. They come in for a knee or a shoulder. But when you ask the right questions, a different story emerges. They stopped hiking because it got too hard. They gave up tennis. They hesitate before the stairs they used to take without thinking. They've quietly rearranged their lives around what they can no longer do... and most of them didn't notice it happening. This is what I think of as the narrowing of people's lives. It's not a dramatic event. Instead, it's a gradual shrinking of what's physically possible, so slow that people mistake the adaptation for a choice. It wasn't a choice. It was the slow, quiet disappearance of capacity that nobody warned them to protect. They normalized all the changes and attributed them solely to aging. The narrowing is not inevitable!! Dammit... it's not ;-)! But it requires intention to resist because the body will not hold the capacity to do things you do not train, and the losses accumulate in silence until they don't.show more

The political establishment in Australia is not entirely stupid,... they just think you are. As they lament the rise of One Nation, they pretend they don't understand it. Because if they showed us that they understand the resons, they then have to make a major admission. Hanson's rise is all their fault. Because the major parties and the faux independents have been on a unity ticket on all of the big problems they have jointly caused for decades. They can’t hide from the messes they have caused, so now they want to blame everyone else but themselves. Today, on ABC’s Insiders, Annabel Crab belled the cat, as Karvelas did the two step crab walk. Annabel correctly diagnoses the political situation here right now. It is not a love for Hanson, or One Nation that is causing the surge, but a total lack of faith in the other offerings. It almost does not matter what Hanson says or does, because her greatest strengths are that she is there, and she is not one of them. Those are enduring traits and the more the major parties hit her, the more the media carry on about her, and the more the establishment present her as a “deplorable”, the more people they will push in her direction. It is like they are in quicksand... the more they struggle, the deeper they sink. People are growing ready for wild political change. A worsening economy and a growing collapse in social cohesion has put the nation on edge. The big end of town want to pretend everything will be fine when the latest special envoy delivers their newest report, but nothing changes. Nothing changes because nothing is supposed to change. Because the government, the opposition and their Green Teal cheer squads want things just the way they are. They didn’t just pass all of the enabling legislation for no reason. There are real beneficiaries of these things, it is just that none of the beneficiaries are the Australian people. Australians have broadly been the target of the changes made to benefit foreign interests, the political class and major corporations. We have been targeted for so long it is impossible not to feel the cross-hairs of the scope resting on our forehead. Hanson and her team simply have to talk about that feeling... they don’t even have to have a solution. Because when the establishment continues to pretend the problems don't exist, just acknowledging the pain is enough to earn a vote. Annabel nails this sentiment in just a few words. Right as Karvelas changes the subject, because it is not that this isn’t obvious, it is because Karvelas is there to cover it up, and hit Hanson’s credibility again. Fuelling the vicious cycle of the rise of the outsider. Unless something significant changes in the establishment, and I don’t expect it will, there will be major upheaval at the next election. Most people will not be voting for their favourite party or person, they will primarily be voting against the status quo, because in their minds, it could not possibly be worse than what we have experienced for decades... but it just might be a little bit better. And that is a risk worth taking. After all most of us like a punt. I just want Australia back.show more
