ALERTCalifornia incorporates more than 20 years of UC San Diego research into their state-focused camera network of nearly 1,100 cameras. Outside California, ALERTWest partners with other universities and stakeholders to operate hundreds more cameras in neighboring states, with the network constantly expanding. It’s an honor to partner with these two organizations to provide you with the most actionable wildfire information available. Once you've updated your app, open the ‘Layers’ drawer found in the top right hand corner of your map and select ‘Live Wildfire Cameras’. When you zoom in you will see the cameras appear. Green Crow Dev and I are making an addon... for #GodotEngine that lets you control every aspect of rendering and post-processing in one place. For example, you'll be able to adjust rendering settings that are usually hidden in the Project Settings, like shadow resolution and anti-aliasing, control the sun, tweak WorldEnvironment settings, add and customize lens flare and other effects, as well as handle post-processing in general (color correction, chromatic aberration, film grain). You'll also be able to change the mood of a scene entirely with just a couple of clicks by selecting a preset (e.g. cinematic, horror, noir, etc.). Our vehicle "accident rate" declined from 33% to 14%... while our fleet grew from 200 to 300 trucks. How? We installed cameras in every truck. We implemented this change a couple years ago. As you'd expect, our drivers weren't thrilled. We tried to implement the change in a way that respected privacy while adding accountability measures that could reverse a bad trend we were seeing. For trucks assigned to a team member who drives the vehicle to and from work, we installed only road-facing cameras. Our shared trucks have dual-facing cameras that look at both the road and the cab. The cameras have sensors that can: - detect speeding, rapid acceleration, hard braking, rolling through stop signs, and distracted driving. Resistance to having a camera on board your truck is understandable, but I'm happy to say that our drivers have adapted well.
