Elon Musk on Giving Effectively "If you care about... the reality of doing good and not the perception of doing good, then it is very hard to give away money effectively. I care about the reality. Perception be damned." Elon’s point isn’t just about philanthropy—it’s a mindset. Real impact rarely comes from flashy gestures or public applause. It requires deep understanding, relentless focus, and a willingness to face uncomfortable truths: what you think helps may actually harm, and what seems small may change everything. Giving effectively is an exercise in brutal honesty with yourself and the world—it’s about results, not recognition. In Musk’s world, doing good is almost like engineering: measure, test, iterate. Vanity and optics have no place in the lab of real-world impact. Source: Elon Muskshow more

The Environment Agency crisis comms swings into action ahead... of the first episode of ‘Dirty Business’ tonight with the usual mix of gaslighting, cover up and half truths. They say they “act on breaches of environmental law”, but on my river, the Roding, there are dozens of illegal outfalls, spewing over a billion litres of raw sewage into the river every year and the Environment Agency has not brought a single prosecution this century. Not one! The evidence is not hard to find- many of these outfalls have been reported by the public for decades and run through parks & major population centres. There seems to be actual policy in place to just ignore rampant criminality, although we cannot say if this policy springs from inertia, incompetence, corruption or a mixture of all three. So that the EA cannot say I’m making this up, I’m going to post pictures, locations and data measurements from illegal outfalls on the Roding. First up is the Cran Brook. Running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at least 25 litres a second and ammonia concentrations of 5-7 PPM, this river is arguably the most polluted river in London, spewing 750 million litres of sewage & landfill leachate directly into the Roding, here:show more

REMEMBER WHEN THEY ALSO LIED THAT PRINCE HARRY AND... MEGHAN WERE BOOED AT THE QUEEN’S JUBILEE. “Right let’s talk about Harry and Meghan. We also saw them arrive. They actually had a really pleasant reception.” American reporter present at the scene. I was watching this live (but only to see them) and I heard the crowd cheer when Harry and Meghan arrived. To be honest I was surprised. With the daily incitement of hate against them by the tabloids and the royal reporters dog whistling in the lead up for them to be booed, online tabloids posting polls on if this would happen, and that it would be a royalist crowd prone and indoctrinated to hate them anyway, I expected this. Yet they were cheered. Omid Scobie and Robert Jobson were actually being interviewed by an American reporter at the time and they all acknowledged the ‘surprisingly’ great reception the Sussexes got. They heard it on the ground. Then the reporter mentioned the pleasant reception again in this video.👇 However, it wasn’t long after initially admitting the cheers, that the royal rota reporters got their instructions and got back on their social media accounts back tracking that ‘it was mixed with cheers and some boos’. Then over the course of the day it went to ‘they were booed’ and the headlines the next day were fake ‘Harry and Meghan were booed’ headlines, when the person who was actually mercilessly booed was Boris Johnson, with video clips backing that up. It’s all genuinely FAKE NEWS with practically all tabloid in on it and other outlets that regurgitate it. The main thing is that any people booing H&M for leaving abuse and defending themselves with truths about the royal family institution that are not hard to believe, are poor indoctrinated sheep of propaganda that typically love the beliefs and behaviour of people like Trump and Farage. Booed by scum. So it wouldn’t be an insult anyway.show more
