here's how I optimized video assets on my site... and improved perceived performance: - added a tiny ( ~30px wide ) `base64` encoded blurred inline image for each snippet, rendered as an underneath the video ( renders instantly! ) - moved all the videos to Cloudflare CDN. previously was using Next.js `/public` local path. which was fine when I had only 2-3 videos - added both `.webm` and `.mp4` formats via elements ( .mp4 as fallback in case browser doesn't support )show more

I made a second version! This time, I improved... the opening to make it more eye-catching, added extra padding to the character shots so the video won’t get cropped across different social platforms, and updated the prompt into English. I also improved the canvas workflow. Previously, I had to generate multiple images and videos one by one, then pick the best results. Now the canvas supports generating multiple results in a single run, which has greatly improved my workflow efficiency. Now you only need to swap the image, and the same video prompt can still produce great results. Which anime cosplay should I make next? Full workflow and prompts:show more

I'm using GPT Image 2 to create a video... concept for a weapon selection screen for CHILD OF THE SOIL. When I initially made the short film I always envisioned this as an open world hack and slash video game inspired by my own continent of Africa. As an avid gamer I wanted to just quickly envision different weapons Nyoni can use as she traverses the world. Of course there is no video game here, it's just a rough idea presented purely as a video. The video sequence is just cycling through 4 different images and I used Seedance 2.0 omni to generate the video. I added music in post. Prompt: A static shot shows a video game menu screen. During the sequence it selects different weapons. It selects all 4 different weapon types. Ensure the item in her hand changes to show the selected item. Every time a weapon is selected she poses and analyzes it. The wooden animal next to her is looking around. Do not change any text. No music, only sound fx when the weapons change. No dialogue.show more

So remember that time machine I told you about?... I managed to sneek out another video from my visit to the future.. this time I captured video of a 3d artist creating assets for a short commercial. They sculpted the bird in the video with nothing but two controllers which they used to manipulate generative matter in 3d. The AI model changed in realtime and adopted their style of work, both based on the work they did on the scene, and on reference images they gave the system. Seeing the 3d model transform in realtime as they were working on it was incredible. When it started moving and reacted to their instructions, I knew it was time to return to the present :D #art #aishow more

I've got a situation and I'm asking for help... from experts in firearms and ballistics. Two shots were fired - nearly a minute apart - while I was working on my car. Each shot had two distinct audible components - a crack and a bang with only a tiny fraction of time between them. My impression in the moment is that it was literally right behind me, and the crack startled me. In the moment I thought I may have heard an impact somewhere beside me. The video is clipped and cropped to protect my security as much as possible. So, my question: is there any reasonable or harmless explanation for this or did somebody take shots at me? Have you ever wondered why David Hogg 🟧 was... being groomed as a crisis actor? Have you ever wondered why his father was coincidentally an FBI agent of over 2 decades but he failed to mention that all these years? Have you ever researched who was really responsible for that event and which ways Hogg and others were involved? I think there is a LOT that we aren't being told, and I would like to the get to the bottom of it. I know there are many others that would like to as well. Have you seen any of these videos? Do you know that as soon as I posted that first rehearsal video on Youtube right after the incident that my youtube account was suspended and they deleted the video? Who do you think had the power to get youtube to suspend my account and remove the video right after I posted it? The FBI perhaps? Do you think something smells bad too? Let's DEMAND ANSWERS. Dear DGCA NIA India Air India Wanted to draw... your attention to a very serious matter. I was on AI 2469 Pune to Delhi. At three different times, when the flight was close to Delhi, three successive high power green colored lasers were beamed at the flight. I was able to capture only one. The flight path and log will be able to give you exact locations of the one I wasn’t able to capture. 1. Around 2120 - by the time I could get my phone and camera out, the plane had moved on and the beam stopped. Area unknown to me. 2. Around 2124 - I was able to record. The area was Churu- Tatanagar as informed by photo location feature. Recording attached. 3. Around 2128 - again, it flashed only for few seconds and by the time I started recording, it stopped. Area was Noida - Chapraula. I’ve highlighted the general area in the image attached. Threes successive beams, at regular intervals - you might want to check. There was a recent case in US just couple of weeks back where this laser pointing was taken very seriously by the agencies. And one odd guy fooling around is one thing. But same green colored laser, on path of a flight, beamed successively, requires an investigation for sure. First - Aroundshow more

HALLO SPACEBOY VIDEO UPGRADE “It's confusing these days...” Hallo... Spaceboy was originally released on the 1995 1. Outside album. This version was going to be the follow up to Strangers When We Meet, even going as far as a video being filmed at the Big Twix concert in Birmingham, released as the No Trendy Réchauffé live album by Parlophone. Hallo Spaceboy was performed twice at the gig, once as part of the main set and again as the last encore. That final version was intended to be the video. Bowie had this to say of that original album version: “I adore that track. In my mind, it was like Jim Morrison meets industrial. When I heard it back, I thought, ‘Fuck me. It’s like metal Doors,’ It’s an extraordinary sound.” In the event, the song was reworked and produced by Pet Shop Boys for the single, giving Bowie a #12 hit in the UK. The chart placing was no doubt helped by a profusion of remixes and various formats (including a pink vinyl 45), not to mention the eventual David Mallet-directed official video, which featured both Bowie and the Pet Shop Boys interspersed with stock footage of all manner of interesting and slightly sinister flavours. View the restored video here: Two live songs from the Birmingham set, Moonage Daydream and Under Pressure, were used as the single’s extra tracks along with the radio edit of The Hearts Filthy Lesson. Various sources have been suggested as possible inspiration for the spoken introduction by Bowie on this version: “If I fall, moondust will cover me”, including Brion Gysin’s* last words and more likely, a line from his 1969 novel The Process: “I look for my guide to find him, too, buried in moondust.” It’s unlikely we’ll ever know for certain, but we can probably rule out the Mike & Bernie Winters 1967 comedy classic, Smother Me With Moondust And Elusive Strawberries. * Gysin was the original inventor of the cut-up method employed by both Bowie and William Burroughs. #HalloSpaceboy #BowiePetShopBoysshow more

.Fiat and I go wayyyyy back. Their cars are... featured in the music videos for This Kiss, Good Time, Cut to the Feeling and now On Wires: Fun fact: Fiat is the very first car I owned when I first moved to LA. For ten years I ripped around in that bad boy. I wasn’t what one would call “car savvy” and so it was about three years in, during my drive to a session one day that I finally tried the button for the sun roof. I was on the phone w my dad at the time, middle of the highway and started screaming…”oh my gawd I have a convertible!” That story lives on as one of my family’s fav “oh Carly” moments. Here's a good example of how you can use... Seedance 2 to edit videos. In the opening shot of the Thriller movie clip I posted last night, I had a generation that was perfect, with the exception of a man entering the scene at the end, and running past the woman. Didn't want that! So, I uploaded the video into Seedance 2's Omnireference on Dreamina AI and used the following prompt, which worked like a charm! The "EDIT THE VIDEO - remove the man in the white shirt who enters the scene at 00:07 seconds. The woman in the yellow dress is the only character we should see in this scene. Maintain all other details." Before (left) and After (right).show more

Today, I want to share two big lessons I... learnt in the past one month. So here’s what happened. It all started with an unexpected physical setback of all places in Port Blair (now Sri Vijayapuram) on 20th December. That morning, I suddenly suffered what is called in medical terms, bilateral foot drop, meaning I lost all power in my feet. I couldn’t walk without support (the 1st video shows the limpness in feet); Somehow, I got back to Delhi on a wheelchair. As I consulted Dr Satnam Chhabra, renowned neurosurgeon (he had treated me earlier) at the Gangaram Hospital. He was worried and immediately recommended surgery since my L-4 disc was compressing the nerve. As I was mentally preparing to undergo the surgery in the last week of 2024, many dark and negative thoughts were playing in the mind (will I have to spend rest of my life on wheelchair? Will prolonged sitting and writing be a problem?) My immediate family was equally worried since we were told, it normally takes 6-7 months of intense physiotherapy and exercise to regain the strength and ‘flex’ in my feet even after the surgery. As I waited for the scheduled day of surgery and as the year was ebbing away, pessimism was creeping in. Then a friend suggested I consult Dr Sandeep Vaishya, another highly-skilled neurosurgeon and executive director of Fortis Hospitals. Thanks to this friend, Dr Sandeep said he will carry out a ‘key-hole’ surgery, which is quicker than an open surgery and takes lesser time to heal. So, on 30th December, I was wheeled into the operation theatre. Five hours later, I was back in the room and by evening, the hospital physiotherapist made me walk, albeit with support (2nd video). As the New Year dawned, I was back home! Now came the part entirely dependent on my own mental and physical strength, support and care by my wife and children. Thus began the recovery process. After a weeklong break, our websites and YT channels were back to work in the meantime. Since I know nothing else but work, it was hard to stay away from office. So, I took courage in both hands and went to office on 3rd January so as to assess my own ability to recover quickly (3rd video). Two weeks since then, life is almost back to normal (4th video, welcoming Nana Patekar to office on 17th January). I like to consider myself as a practical, take-life-as-it-comes-kind of a guy. And so far life has indeed been a busy, fulfilling journey with no time to philosophise much but the last 30 days have taught me to think deeper. Why am I sharing these details? Because of two reasons: A reinforcement of my own long-held belief that life can be extremely uncertain and therefore one must live in the moment, enjoy every opportunity that comes one’s way to achieve whatever your aim in life is and not plan too much for the future. And two, family, friends and their support is the greatest wealth one can acquire. Celebrate them and this incredible gift called life. Rest is all peripheral.show more

On 11th August, 2025, I was involved in a... ghastly accident on my way from Kumasi to Accra with my friend, an accident that almost took our lives. The accident happened around 4:00 am, just a few minutes’ drive from Nkawkaw. In those moments after the crash, fear took over. Help was not coming, and at a point, I genuinely feared for our lives. I kept thinking the car might catch fire as we were helpless. We both sustained serious injuries: the bone in my thigh got broken, and my friend suffered fractures in both legs. I was admitted at St. Joseph Hospital for 22 days, where I underwent surgery and received all my treatments. After the surgery, the pain was unbearable and i even forgot how to walk. I stayed indoors for a long time, battling both physical pain and depression. There were days and nights I cried endlessly, holding on to hope and praying to get better. I feared our legs might never be the same again. Today, I am grateful to say that we are both doing well. From the depths of my heart, I extend my sincere gratitude to my friends and family, the doctors, surgeons, nurses, and everyone who stood by me during this extremely trying period. Your support, prayers, and encouragement carried me through when I felt weakest.show more

My final video from last nights findings. As I... was walking down canal street I noticed this girl walking down the street alone only to be stopped by 2 Pakistani lads (in fairness they seemed similar age). After she started walking backwards and they followed I hung back to see if she was ok. They ended up talking right in front of me. Whilst the guys were trying it on with her and you could say the girl was flirting back she then looked at me right in the eyes and said “help me, help”. I’m not sure how serious she was but a taxi was booked for her to get home. Blur added for the girls privacy. •This photo was taken last night directly in front... of Burj Khalifa. •The video was taken on Saturday in Abu Dhabi with my friends and children (Europeans and Arabs). This is not a defense of the UAE simply because I live here. Rather, I speak as a Lebanese political activist who was subjected to political detention in Lebanon by a direct decision of Hezbollah. I chose the UAE and the Gulf countries as a place of safety and freedom of speech (that I still deliver it on my social media till today ) for the time being, instead of Europe ( despite receiving offers of political asylum from more than five countries within the European Union and Scandinavia) which I travel only for vacation and despite my deep appreciation for Europe, as well as for the human rights advocates and politicians who supported my case there. However, I will not accept any manipulation of the “image of a country” where I live by my own choice, with my own means and work (especially as an activist who returned from my country, Lebanon, under war conditions less than a week ago) I will not tolerate media distortion when the reality is : security, discipline, and the continuity of peaceful life. Under an air defense umbrella that has intercepted more than 1,000 attacks, every sound in the sky reassures me that I am safe that I, my family, and an entire region stretching across the Gulf, the Levant, and the Eastern Mediterranean, are being protected amid ongoing threats. The Gulf is safe. The UAE is safe. Dubai is safe. I am safe( along with four children, my sisters, and their children who came from Australia) We all chose to spend the Eid holiday in Dubai.show more

Where did you go, Charlie? Well, hello everyone! Yes,... it is really me. I am back! As a great number of you had noticed, I have been missing online for almost two months now. I disappeared almost as soon as the trial for the Southport Massacre ended. Public opinion and concern has been split as to why I went missing; between those who thought I had a breakdown after covering the massacre, and those who thought I had caved to government pressure to stop reporting upon the cover-up. Neither of these, thanks to the strength of public feeling and the support of my colleagues, is true. What really happened? Three days after the trial ended, my X/Twitter account was hacked. My profile remained intact; live but inactive. Except for one thing...My viral timeline of the Southport massacre had been unpinned and DELETED. This timeline had been collated on the day of Axel Rudakubana's sentencing, and detailed exactly what had taken place on that dreadful summer's day in Southport. It exposed how the UK Government had failed time and time again to prevent this monster from moving about with freedom, and what they and other authorities had done to cover-up their incompetence, and the devastating consequences of their political agenda. This timeline had been see by 50 million people within 3 days – and was recognised as one of the most authoritative records of the Southport massacre. But, just as my account was gaining momentum, and I had the platform to explore the depth of the corruption in this case – including the anti-white sentiment of Rudakubana being glossed over by the Establishment and mainstream media – this detailed timeline of evidence was deleted, and I was locked out the account until this morning. (More on this to follow.) I do not know who did this to me, or what caused X to withhold my account from me for almost two months. But there is one thing of which I am certain: Whoever did this did not want the hideous truth about the Southport Massacre in the public domain...show more

On this day, 5 years ago, I was isolated... in a Covid ward - on my birthday. I could not breathe, eat or drink. I couldn't see my husband, as he was at home, taking care of our son who also had Covid. I vaguely remember hearing doctors mentioning "ICU", nurses singing happy birthday & begging me to eat applesauce or else I might need an NG tube. I had almost died once in April 2019. I thought this time I was most certainly going to die. Six months later, I wish I had. The #LongCovid community knows my story after that. How the whole world came together, in a spirit of generosity, to take me back to India in an air ambulance, how the amazing doctors Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre saved me and brought me back to life, how my husband, son, parents & brother took care of me, how I had to give up practising law but slowly came back to it (albeit in a limited way but with all my clients waiting for me). As I write this while hooked to my BiPAP (12 hours a day), relying on a wheelchair & oxygen machine while I leave the house, being able to eat ten things, and barely remembering how life was before my birthday in 2021, I am grateful for one thing: that I am alive to raise my son, teaching him to manage his congenital conditions and live a good life. Everything else is just added bonus. Today PEM has met PMS, on a gloomy day in the Netherlands. So I'm going to be in bed, with my beloved BiPAP, and listen to Stray Kids (on the cool, CD player that my boys gifted - thank you, Anand). I may be fatigued to my bones but I shall rest in style.show more

Everyone's sleeping on image-to-3D AI models. They can make... your app look incredibly unique, with just a little effort. Here's how. This is my calorie tracker, built in a week with nothing but prompting. Just Claude Code + a couple APIs. The visuals are all AI-generated. I'll be sharing the full workflow + all the crazy technical stuff Claude and I did to make this work, so nobody has to struggle through it like me. Deep dive coming soon! Till then, this is the high-level idea: 1. Get a clean image of the food (or whatever your asset is) - In my app, the user describes foods via text, or attaches images (or both) - If text, an LLM extracts the food description and formats it into a specific prompt I tuned for this design, and we generate an image using Z-Image Turbo through fal - If image, we do the same thing but with FLUX.2 [dev] to edit the user image into our reference design - Originally, both used Google Nano Banana, but switching to open models cut costs and latency a ton 2. Gaussian splatting (2D image → 3D model) - I tried various 2D-to-3D options on fal and ended up with TripoSplat as my preferred balance of speed, cost, latency; this turns an image into a 3D model that looks super high quality (link below) - The app displays the 2D image while our backend generates the 3D splat - We "groom" the splat to reduce size and load time by culling low-opacity/scale points 3. Render efficiently on device Originally, it looked great but ran at 10 FPS. Getting to 120 FPS was a crazy journey. TL;DR: - SwiftUI had to go; it forced us to render each asset in independent MTKViews, which wasn't workable - Instead, we composite every dish into one full-bleed CAMetalLayer using MetalSplatter (link below) - We had to make some optimizations within MetalSplatter's code too, to reduce the overhead of sorting points per render Then I added some finishing touches like the subtle rotation and parallax as they move around. I think it turned out pretty cool :) Overall, this took some effort, but we still got it done in less than a day. Hopefully your agent can follow in the footsteps of mine and do it much faster. Keep an eye out for the bigger writeup, which'll give your agent everything it needs. If you have any questions, drop em below!show more

Had my mind blown today by how simple it... was to buy Tokenized Gold. I was listening to Balaji talk about Gold today on a podcast with Luke Gromen I asked ChatGPT “what’s the best way to buy Gold that’s digital and almost like owning the real thing?” It responded with “tokenized gold: Each token represents ownership of real, physical gold This is not a gold stock, not an ETF, and not a synthetic bet—it’s closer to digital warehouse receipts for gold.” It then said the best option was Tether Gold (XAUT). I remembered recently the World team saying that you could buy real assets like Gold on World App. I wondered if you could buy XAUT? I opened the app and one of the first ten assets was XAUT. Swap USDC for Tether Gold in under 10 seconds and that’s it. The experience was magical. We are so close the Balaji vision of interoperable money and assets. When everything is a token, value will be the only thing that matters again. Tokens are just 24/7 global markets for trust. People will be able to move in and out of whatever assets they trust instantly. Trust will become the most important thing that compounds. What’s even cooler, is that you can then send Gold to anyone, instantly in World Chat 💬 Any asset, anywhere, to anyone, in any any chat. Check out the screen recordings to see how fast and easy it wasshow more
