Calling Persib a cultural phenomenon might be an understatement... Today, tens of thousands of Bobotoh gathered at GBLA to give their support ahead of one of the biggest football matches in Asia between Persija and Persib, a clash that could define the title race. A victory would move Persib one step closer to a historic three-peat, something Indonesian football has never witnessed before They came from all walks of life. Some skipped school, others left work early, all for a chance to stand behind the club they love. These players are called heroes for a reason. People place their hopes, emotions, and dreams on this club. Persib have never been just about football. It is part of their identity, their memories, and their everyday lives There is pressure that comes with support of this scale. But moments like this are also why footballers dream of playing for clubs like Persib And this is how it looks through Luciano’s lens.show more

IT IS TIME TO 𝐑𝐄-𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐅𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄... 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐅𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 IN OUR COUNTRY. ONCE AGAIN. ALL OVER AGAIN. I read a beautiful farewell message from a Kenyan High school teacher (Physics & Mathematics) to his colleagues, friends, students, and community. I also watched a short clip on the same! So moving, it reminded me how Teaching is, easily, the most importantly IMPACTFUL profession for national development. Indeed, the difference between the so-called First World and the rest is not how high buildings rose to the skies but how much of deliberate investments went into Education and Healthcare. Let me drop both items - farewell message and the clip - here! "Askum (Asalam Aleikum). As I prepare to bid farewell after 17 incredible years at Sheikh Ali High School, my heart overflows with gratitude and love for each of you. I feel both sad and happy as I write this. Sad, because I am leaving after an incredible 17 years filled with unforgettable memories and wonderful friendships. Happy, because I am joining my family and starting a new chapter in my life. Thank you all for the beautiful memories and the unwavering support. I will cherish the times we've spent together and carry them with me always. To my dedicated staff mates, your camaraderie, support, and understanding have made every day a joy. Working alongside such talented and committed individuals has been a privilege that I will always cherish. To the support staff, your tireless efforts behind the scenes have been crucial to our success. Your dedication and hard work have often gone unnoticed, but I want you to know that they have always been deeply appreciated. To all my current and former students, you have been the heart and soul of my time here. Your enthusiasm, resilience, and achievements have been a constant source of inspiration. Watching you grow and succeed has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. To the Mandera community in general and the Rhamu in particular, your love, support, and prayers have sustained me throughout my stay. You welcomed me with open arms and made Mandera feel like home. Your warmth and hospitality will always be remembered with fondness. Serving as Deputy Principal for over 10 years has been an incredible journey. Sheikh Ali High School will always remain my home. To the Secondary Schools Sports family , my experience as Secretary of Sports, KSSSA Mandera County for 14 years has been nothing short of extraordinary. The spirit, determination, and passion you have shown in sports have created some of my most cherished moments. To my dear friends, I will miss the memories we've created together. The laughter, the challenges, and the countless moments of joy have made my time here unforgettable. Your friendship has been a cornerstone of my journey, and I will carry these cherished memories with me always. Thank you all for the beautiful memories, the support, and the understanding you have shown me over the years. Mandera has been my home and will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will miss you all dearly. With heartfelt gratitude and warmest regards, Wario D. Guyo, Outgoing Deputy Principal Sheikh Ali High School."show more

🙏My friends, I haven't talked much about my other... fundraiser in a while. I have told you life is unbearable in North 🇵🇸#Gaza.❤️🩹Life has been unbearable for months and I don't know how we keep going. To say prices for food and other necessities like soap are unreasonable, is an understatement. What they ask for the most basic canned food is infuriating. And it gets worse every week! We need your financial support to get through this, my friends. My brother-in-law Mahmoud wants to leave with my family and his wife as soon as the border reopens. My fundraiser right now is meant to help him get to Egypt. But we are getting to the point where prices are so high and donations are so slow, we will need to cut into his fund. It breaks my heart, my friends. I don't want him and his lovely wife to stay behind. Will you please help us out, so we can help Mahmoud? If you can't donate, will you please share my tweet? 🙏🫂❤️🩹 🚨🆘️🐾🙏🐾🫂show more

Earlier this morning, I took part in the graduation... ceremony of the The University of Law at the Barbican Centre. I enrolled for the program in 2023 and completed in 2025 after taking a hiatus in 2024 during the election campaigns. A pretty challenging endeavour as I combined the multiple phases of my life. The Masters of Law in Professional Legal Practice qualifies me as a Solicitor of England and Wales. I hope this inspires someone out there to pursue any dream that they have deferred. You never know what you can achieve until you start. Thanks to the Lord Almighty, my wife, family and friends for all the support and prayers during this phase of my life. The life of a lifelong learner! On to the next pursuit. 🦁🇬🇭show more

My little daughter Tamam is currently going through a... very serious health condition. Because of the viruses spreading among children, she has developed a very high fever and severe chest infections that are causing her intense pain and frightening shortness of breath. We spent the entire day at the hospital trying to help her breathe. She received nebulizer treatments to relieve her breathing difficulties, but her condition is still very hard. She urgently needs medication and treatment to reduce her fever and ease the pain in her chest so she can breathe and breastfeed normally again. Right now, we urgently need $500 to be able to buy the medicine and provide the treatment she needs. My friends and kind people, My daughter truly needs your help right now. Every moment she continues to suffer, and any support from you could help relieve her pain and save her.🥹🙏show more

Tell me again how clubs, teams, and travel teams... aren't scams? My $ 80-per-season son's soccer team beat a $ 5k-per-kid club team. Somewhere along the way, youth sports stopped being about kids and started being about parents. Club sports promise: • better coaching • more exposure • better competition • scholarships But the numbers tell a different story. Only about 1% of high school athletes get a college athletic scholarship. And most of those aren’t even full rides. Meanwhile, families are spending: • $3k–$7k a year on club teams • travel flights • hotels every weekend • private trainers • camps Over 10 years, that’s easily $50k+ per kid. For youth soccer. At 10 years old. Meanwhile, rec sports still do what youth sports were originally meant to do: Kids play with friends. Parents sit in lawn chairs. Everyone grabs pizza after the game. Low pressure. Pure fun. And kids who love the game usually end up getting better anyway. Our $80 rec team proved that last weekend. So I’m curious… Are travel sports actually for the kids…show more

♥️♥️♥️ I was only 22 when my world changed... forever. My sister died during childbirth, leaving behind three tiny lives — triplets who had barely taken their first breaths. There was no father listed. No grandparents left to call. Just me. One moment I was a young guy riding motorcycles and living freely. The next, I was standing in a hospital hallway while a nurse gently asked if I could take one of the babies until arrangements were made. I didn't hesitate. "I'm taking all three," I said. At the time, I was sleeping on friends' couches. My motorcycle sat in the living room of the small place I was crashing in. I pushed it out to make room for three cribs and prayed I would somehow figure the rest out. Life became survival. I worked night shifts at a warehouse, then delivered food during the day. I learned how to warm baby bottles in gas station microwaves between jobs. Some months, I had to choose between paying rent and buying formula. Somehow... we kept going. Neighbors began leaving diapers and groceries quietly on the porch. My motorcycle crew showed up one weekend with tools and wood and built bunk beds when the babies outgrew their cribs. People told me I wouldn't last a month. But love can make ordinary people do extraordinary things. This spring, Emma, Lily, and Noah walked across their high school graduation stage. As I watched them take their steps toward the future, tears filled my eyes. I thought I was going to be their uncle. Instead, I became their dad.show more

The New Orleans New Orleans JazzFest is the Best.... I love festivals and love this one the most, so I highly recommend it. I started coming 31 years ago and have only missed two because I love it so much. I come with a bunch of friends, our adult kids, and in some cases our and our friends' grandkids - so we've evolved three generations around the festival over three decades and they all love it because it's so great. It's great because it has the best music - all imaginable types from all over the world, including the biggest names (I saw the The Rolling Stones three days ago) and the most talented lesser-known great musicians (like the Meters, the Nevilles, Trombone Shorty playing simultaneously on 9 stages. It's an orgy of great music. And it has the best food -- not just for a festival but for food experiences anywhere. If I had to pick the top place to go for great eating, New Orleans would vie for my top pick. That's because it has the best indigenous food in the US, and the local restaurants have food kiosks at the Fest serving unique delectables like crawfish strudel, soft shell crab po-boys, seafood gumbo, etc. I recommend what I just told you plus a boiled crawfish sack and crawfish monica. And the people's vibe is cool too because the people couldn't be more diverse in ethnic and economic backgrounds while they share the same love of the great fundamentals of music, food, and camaraderie. It is funky - too funky/grungy for some until they settle into all the good stuff. And that's just the Fest. New Orleans has lots of great music clubs and restaurants that we wallow in after the Fest, typically til 2 or 3am. I suffer from FOMO, so I'm challenged here. My favorite music club, my favorite band, and my favorite people are the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The music is great because the Preservation Hall (which is a tiny converted, old-world residence that holds about 40 people) attracts the best musicians in the world. There's an abundance of exciting flavors here to stimulate all your senses and it's a great place to go with friends. So I suggest you check it out next year. #JazzFestshow more

🌴🌞🌊🌵 This was an afternoon when the Levante of... #Mojacar for the first time this year in a preview of what to expect in summertime 🏖️ showcased it’s full Charme and coziness. So it will have been therefore that I took my coffee with a sophisticated though tiny piece of cheesecake in „Restaurante Lua Beach Club“ right in the last mile of the paseo maritimo of #Mojacar. This club is only three minutes walk away from that one I showed you two days ago and it has it‘s very own and distinguished appearance and you know what: if my intuition is not wrong it seems to attract society people like a magnet 🧲 So I‘m sure you 👉🏼 knowing much more society people than I ever can dream of will have a great time exploring this social laboratory ( instead of social net ) inside out. You know the spanish saying: „El mundo es chico!“ in english „The world is a village!“ So you never know whom you will meet and have a great time with them over there. All ingredients for a succeeded afternoon & evening are just in place 🌴🌊🌞🌵🏖️ What else you may like to know about this place you will find on the google-maps page hereundershow more

Video shows 18-year-old Kimber Mills (in the pink shirt)... and her friends line dancing at “The Pit.” This is where they were when an uninvited male opened fire, shooting 4 people on Sunday. Two males were severely injured, and Kimber was killed. *Video is from September* Kimber's honor walk was today at 4:00, followed by surgery to procure her organs for donation. Please continue to pray for her family and friends, as they cope with this devastating loss. 🙏🏼 BACKSTORY: Jefferson County, Ala. — A night of fun quickly turned deadly at around 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a location known as “The Pit,” where dozens of teens were having a bonfire gathering. A man not known to the group, 27-year-old Steven Whitehead, reportedly showed up uninvited and approached one of the girls, causing a confrontation. He pulled out a gun and began firing, shooting four different people. One of them was 18-year-old Kimber Mills, who had no involvement in the fight. She was shot in her leg and her head. The tragedy has brought an outpouring of support from the community. More than 100 people gathered at the hospital Sunday to show love for Kimber. “She is so loved by this amazing community she has behind her,” Ashley said. “We are beyond thankful for everyone who has shown up to support her.” On Monday morning, emotions ran high as Cleveland High School students gathered outside the school to pray for their classmate. Many held hands, bowed their heads, and shed tears. Principal Brannon Smith said additional counselors were made available for students as they process the news. “I have a daughter who’s a cheerleader, and yesterday was a hard day,” Smith said. “This tragedy hits close to home.” Deputies arrested Whitehead and charged him with three counts of attempted murder, although one will likely get upgraded to murder. He is being held in the Jefferson County Jail. #crime #truecrime #news #tragedy #viralshow more

“Oh my gosh, she’s completely alive!” Anne Heche survived... for six days after a bizarre car accident (crashed into a house at high speed) in Mar Vista (LA, just west of Venice Beach) on August 5, 2022. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition with severe “burns and a significant brain injury.” Heche was later declared brain-dead on August 11, 2022. She was kept on life support for three more days “to facilitate organ donation.” Heche’s last project was Girl in Room 13, a made-for-TV movie about human trafficking, a Hollywood issue she cared about. It premiered a month after she died (September 17, 2022). Anne Heche and Ellen DeGeneres were in a highly publicized romantic relationship from 1997 to 2000. They were one of the first openly gay celebrity couples in Hollywood, which garnered significant media attention at the time. Their relationship was groundbreaking in terms of visibility for LGBTQ+ representation in the entertainment industry.show more

A 17 year old high schooler told his mom... he needed a Steam Deck for school. She said no, it's a gaming console. He said it runs Linux. She didn't know what that means. Bought it for his birthday. $280. He never installed a single game on it. Opened the terminal, installed Claude Code and typed his first command while holding the device like a PlayStation controller. Thumbsticks on both sides. Code editor in the middle. The most ridiculous dev setup anyone has ever seen. At second 0:09 you can read what he typed into the terminal: claude your code looks like absolute shit Claude didn't argue. Just started rewriting the shader, adding bloom effects, fixing chromatic aberration and improving the particle system. On a gaming console held in two hands on a couch. His friends play Fortnite on their Steam Decks. He builds software on his while lying in bed. He set up Claude Code with custom skills, hooks that auto run tests every time a file is saved and memory that remembers every project across sessions. The stuff most developers pay $200 a month for and use at maybe 20% capacity. He runs it on a $280 handheld and squeezes out every feature. Within three weeks he had built and sold four small apps to local businesses. A booking page for a barber shop, an inventory tracker for a vape store, a menu site for a taco truck and a scheduling tool for a dog groomer. All built on a Steam Deck in his bedroom. All coded by Claude while he gave instructions with his thumbs. Made over $13,000 in his first month. His mom still thinks he plays games on it. His teacher caught him using it during study hall. Looked at the screen expecting a game. Saw green code scrolling and Claude asking: Do you want to make this edit to main.js ? Teacher had no idea what she was looking at. Told him to put it away. He closed the lid. Claude kept running inside. A $280 gaming console that his mom bought thinking it was a toy is now a development workstation that earns more per month than her car payment. Setup time: 20 minutes once. Time he saves every day: 3 to 5 hours. Money made in month one: $13,000. Games installed: zero. His grandpa asked him to install FIFA last weekend. He said the console is busy. Grandpa asked doing what. He said working. Grandpa didn't ask again.show more
