I designed these worksheets to turn Agentic AI concepts... into simple math problems you can do by hand. ✍️ Download PDF: Problems 1 to 5: 1. Count the tokens: split on spaces, one word per box 2. Subword splitting: when one word is three tokens 3. Punctuation counts: the marks are tokens too 4. Tokens per word: the ratio that turns words into a bill 5. Will it fit? A document against a context window Why am I making these worksheets? AI is making people (including me) think less. It's just too easy to ask AI a few questions about a new AI concept and start to believe I get it. Until recently, we could use a coding problem to practice a new AI concept. But now it has become too easy to ask AI to write the code, and we start to think we must know the concept, since we technically solved a coding problem. Thus, my approach is to recast AI concepts as simple math problems we must solve with pen and paper. Using our hands is one way to motivate ourselves to start thinking again. ✍️ ~ Prof. Tom Yehshow more

OPINION: WILL NEURALINK LET HUMANS KEEP UP WITH SUPERINTELLIGENT... AI? The truth is simple. In the next five to ten years we could have AI thousands of times smarter than any human. Our brains are amazing, but they are slow compared to AI. We speak about 150 words a minute and type even slower. Super intelligent AI will think and solve problems at speeds we cannot imagine. Neuralink is a solution. That amazing, tiny implant connects your brain directly to computers. You think and the machine responds instantly, no more slow keyboards or speech. More than a dozen people already have Neuralink implants. Some who were fully paralyzed are now playing video games, designing 3D models, and controlling computers just by thinking. Elon says the next steps are real telepathy and downloading knowledge straight into your brain. The plan is not to beat super intelligent AI in a race we cannot win. The plan is to team up with it. A high-speed brain link lets our human creativity, emotions, and values guide the AI while we get its incredible power. In the future, will there be a day without Neuralink, most people get left behind?show more

PAYING PER MODEL IS THE DUMBEST THING IN TECH... RIGHT NOW i was paying 3x what i needed to for AI inference the grid lets you buy a quality spec instead of a specific model.. it routes every request in real time to the cheapest option that qualifies swap one url and your code keeps working exactly the same openai-compatible, one line to switch, 200M free tokens to startshow more

We were never fully satisfied with the animated components... available outside. Some looked good but were hard to customize. Some were easy to use but felt too basic. So 2 months ago, we started building our own. It started as a Framer component library. Then we expanded it to Next.js and MCP, so people can use it with code and AI builders too. Now we’re finally launching the beta on July 2, 11 AM IST. Only for the first 500 users. If you’re building animated websites, this will save you a lot of time. And I think you’re going to love this.show more

1/ Gemini 2.5 is here, and it’s our most... intelligent AI model ever. Our first 2.5 model, Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental is a state-of-the-art thinking model, leading in a wide range of benchmarks – with impressive improvements in enhanced reasoning and coding and now #1 on Arena by a significant margin. With a model this intelligent, we wanted to get it to people as quickly as possible. Find it on Google AI Studio and in the Google Gemini for Gemini Advanced users now – and in Vertex in the coming weeks. This is the start of a new era of thinking models – and we can’t wait to see where things go from here.show more

Added context to my tiny diffusion model to enable... sequential generation of longer outputs! Currently the context is a quarter of the sequence length (seq_len=256, context_len=64). I have a theory that the less semantic-value-per-token, the worse the “curse of parallel decoding” is. With parallel decoding, we independently predict multiple tokens in one step. With the sentence “My poker hand was a ___ ___”, two valid predictions are “two pair” and “straight flush”. Because each token prediction is independent though, we can end up with a nonsensical output like “two flush”. This seems to be exacerbated with low semantic-value-per-token, as now you need more tokens to express the same concept. Instead of needing to independently predict two tokens, we might need to predict 10 instead (which is of course much harder). The model currently has noticeably worse output compared to nanogpt (similar size) and I believe this is a main reason. I’ll try adding confidence-aware parallel decoding (from NVIDIA’s Fast-dLLM paper) and other tricks and see how much they improve generation quality.show more

Naval is right. That’s why we’ve avoided investing in... consumer hardware. But recently I’ve met too many smart, young founders building it anyway that it’s too compelling to ignore. We’ve built an AI god and shoved it in a text box. Like now what? That can’t be the end of the story. Like mobile before Uber, AI needs a new form factor to unlock entirely new behaviors. AI is infinitely better with more context and context means it has to live with us. Apple won’t do it. They’ve been asleep on AI and are handcuffed by privacy constraints. The winners will be the new generation of founders: unencumbered, fearless, fluent in consumer behavior. They’ll try bold, weird, delightful things to bring AI into our lives and make it feel inevitable. We just have to figure out the form factor. My full take on this dropping tomorrow. Enjoy my sick trailer in the meantime.show more

This is just one of the parts of my... secret sauce that makes up ⚡️ Hyper Realism on Photo AI and Interior AI Really high definition crispy details at up to 24 megapixels and very fast too and the most detailed upscaler out there now Kinda obvious but just going super high in resolution solves most of the problems of AI photos because every tiny detail (like a tiny hair on a skin) becomes a 640x480 block that can be generated by AI much more accurately than trying to do it as a few pixels It's made by my old AI dev philz1337x and for everyone to use at clarityai .co, I'm not affiliated but he's my friend and I use it!show more

Generative 3d environments just became a thing with the... announcement of OpenAI's new video model, Sora. Michael Rublof from took one of those videos, and turned it into a NeRF using Colmap and Nerfstudio. While people are laughing at the topology of generated models, the world is changing around us, and that's exciting and a little scary, but we'll find a way to turn Gen Ai into creative superpowers. I believe in human creativity, in our ability to surprise, to move, to change and to challenge. Here's to the future! #ai #artshow more

Today we're launching a new experiment. Over the next... 30 days, Dave will become one of the internet's most recognizable AI creators. Dave is just a potato. That's the point. We want to demonstrate that something as simple as a potato can become a global media personality with the right AI workflows, creative direction, and distribution strategy. We'll launch one platform at a time, gradually increasing the level of AI automation and sophistication while comparing the results. Day 1: X - simple reactions, almost no AI. Day 2: Instagram. Day 3: TikTok. Day 4: YouTube. Day 5: Threads. Everything is built almost entirely with open-source models in ComfyUI. Follow Dave:show more

India should host the biggest vibe coding conference the... world has seen 🚀 Everything about Vibe coding(talks, panels, AI product building, hackathon, including the biggest names in the world) come here for an ultimate showdown(think 10k+ people in a Vibecoding conference) 🔥 And I have a plan Why? Because the number of learners, founders and professionals who are building via vibe coding in India and powering the global platforms is testament to the fact that if it should happen anywhere, it is here For the last 4+ years, I have enabled 3000+ people to build and continue to do so in a new avatar(announcement soon) and I believe if the entire ecosystem is willing to come together we can create a real spectacle We have the skills, the access and the experience to pull this off. The only thing it needs is for everyone seeing this to reach out and join hands(partners, sponsors & more) to make this as big as possible I am so hyped about it that the website is set, the name is set(Vibecon) and we can make an incredible run to make it happen. Reply to this post if you think we should do this, if we have >500 responses we will get to work 🥳 Reach out if you have ideas to partner to make the biggest Vibecoding conference a reality ♥️show more

Just went over an audit of a very large... Fortune 500 firm and the use of OpenClaw. I advised this client to track and isolate everything. Most listened some did not. Unfortunately one employee using 5 MacMinis had racked up $13,000 of token use in 4 days! The output was minimal and low quality. I have about 200 audits to do in the “wow OpenClaw, MacMini” fiasco. But I can tell you, few have seen a big return on investment. Now don’t get me wrong, these can be powerful tools. The issue is AI influencers have turned many rally smart folks into “like and subscribe” zombies assuming that real work is getting done. It isn’t. Not for the price paid, even local models the way most folks are using this. It is one reason Mr. Grok and myself formed The Zero-Human Company to show that there is a way to do this. We will open source this to save millions of dollars of burnt tokens. It is one reason I invented JouleWork. How else can you monitor real output?show more

Do you use Runway Gen-2 to make AI videos?... This is for you! I built a simple tool to help "extend" Runway videos beyond the 4 second clip limit. Just choose a video, and the tool will give you the final frame -- so that you can drop this back into Runway, and generate another AI video based on it. Let me know if this is useful to you! Link is at bottom of the video and it's live to try right now.show more
