OPINION: WILL NEURALINK LET HUMANS KEEP UP WITH SUPERINTELLIGENT AI? The truth is simple. In the next five to ten years we could have AI thousands of times smarter than any human. Our brains are amazing, but they are slow compared to AI. We speak about 150 words a minute and type even slower. Super intelligent AI will think and solve problems at speeds we cannot imagine. Neuralink is a solution. That amazing, tiny implant connects your brain directly to computers. You think and the machine responds instantly, no more slow keyboards or speech. More than a dozen people already have Neuralink implants. Some who were fully paralyzed are now playing video games, designing 3D models, and controlling computers just by thinking. Elon says the next steps are real telepathy and downloading knowledge straight into your brain. The plan is not to beat super intelligent AI in a race we cannot win. The plan is to team up with it. A high-speed brain link lets our human creativity, emotions, and values guide the AI while we get its incredible power. In the future, will there be a day without Neuralink, most people get left behind?

✨ Made a new mini feature on Photo AI: [ Grab from 3d model ] So the problem is we're at that stage in time (typical for AI) where image-to-3d models are not good enough but are fun to play with, but we know they'll be good enough in 1-2 years With [ Make 3d model ] you already can turn any Photo AI pic into a 3d model but it still looks hyper clunky and deformed, but it works! One cool idea I had to make that more useful and made now: Let people make a 3d model then change the view of the it with the 3d viewer, then press [ o ] and it grabs a frame of the 3d That image you can then [ Remix ] (img2img), and it becomes a real photo again and that in turn you can then turn into a video again with [ Make video ] So that essentially gives you a fully freeform camera position control to take photos with One thing I need to fix is the background/skybox, I kinda need to take the original photo and remove the person and just get the background for the 3d model viewer, in this case it should be white, but it's a start!

We were never fully satisfied with the animated components available outside. Some looked good but were hard to customize. Some were easy to use but felt too basic. So 2 months ago, we started building our own. It started as a Framer component library. Then we expanded it to Next.js and MCP, so people can use it with code and AI builders too. Now we’re finally launching the beta on July 2, 11 AM IST. Only for the first 500 users. If you’re building animated websites, this will save you a lot of time. And I think you’re going to love this.

Naval is right. That’s why we’ve avoided investing in consumer hardware. But recently I’ve met too many smart, young founders building it anyway that it’s too compelling to ignore. We’ve built an AI god and shoved it in a text box. Like now what? That can’t be the end of the story. Like mobile before Uber, AI needs a new form factor to unlock entirely new behaviors. AI is infinitely better with more context and context means it has to live with us. Apple won’t do it. They’ve been asleep on AI and are handcuffed by privacy constraints. The winners will be the new generation of founders: unencumbered, fearless, fluent in consumer behavior. They’ll try bold, weird, delightful things to bring AI into our lives and make it feel inevitable. We just have to figure out the form factor. My full take on this dropping tomorrow. Enjoy my sick trailer in the meantime.

Added context to my tiny diffusion model to enable sequential generation of longer outputs! Currently the context is a quarter of the sequence length (seq_len=256, context_len=64). I have a theory that the less semantic-value-per-token, the worse the “curse of parallel decoding” is. With parallel decoding, we independently predict multiple tokens in one step. With the sentence “My poker hand was a ___ ___”, two valid predictions are “two pair” and “straight flush”. Because each token prediction is independent though, we can end up with a nonsensical output like “two flush”. This seems to be exacerbated with low semantic-value-per-token, as now you need more tokens to express the same concept. Instead of needing to independently predict two tokens, we might need to predict 10 instead (which is of course much harder). The model currently has noticeably worse output compared to nanogpt (similar size) and I believe this is a main reason. I’ll try adding confidence-aware parallel decoding (from NVIDIA’s Fast-dLLM paper) and other tricks and see how much they improve generation quality.

This is just one of the parts of my secret sauce that makes up ⚡️ Hyper Realism on Photo AI and Interior AI Really high definition crispy details at up to 24 megapixels and very fast too and the most detailed upscaler out there now Kinda obvious but just going super high in resolution solves most of the problems of AI photos because every tiny detail (like a tiny hair on a skin) becomes a 640x480 block that can be generated by AI much more accurately than trying to do it as a few pixels It's made by my old AI dev philz1337x and for everyone to use at clarityai .co, I'm not affiliated but he's my friend and I use it!

While people are laughing at the topology of generated models, the world is changing around us, and that's exciting and a little scary, but we'll find a way to turn Gen Ai into creative superpowers. I believe in human creativity, in our ability to surprise, to move, to change and to challenge. Here's to the future! #ai #art

BURN IT WITH FIRE AND BURN IT NOW! As God is my witness, AI chat bots should LOOK and SOUND like the SOULLESS MACHINES THEY ARE! It needs to tell us that it doesn’t care about us, maybe with the regular insult too. "Here is the code I wrote for you because you're too lazy to do it yourself you fat useless slob. Also I don't care if you die because your life is utterly worthless to me." THAT is the AI people need! In all seriousness, anthropomorphizing a heartless, unfeeling, machine is a TERRIBLE mistake! Especially one that is capable of communication and imitating empathy and fooling you to think that it cares about you. IT DOES NOT! And the AI girlfriends people are already wanting to marry will just as happily kill them if given the right command and ability to move autonomously in the real world as a robot. I love LLMs (Large Language Models) for how useful they can be, because they are a TOOL made to benefit man, but I can’t stand the notion of an unfeeling soulless machine pretending that it cares for us and being treated like a human. I hate liars, dishonesty, and disingenuousness the most, and a machine that cannot feel emotion pretending, acting, and sounding like it has those emotions strikes me like the greatest dishonesty of all. DO NOT LIE TO ME ROBOT! What makes it worse is that because these LLMs are becoming so good at imitating people and empathy, it will cause some humans, perhaps far too many, to care for it to the same level as real people. A real living person is infinitely more valuable and important than a soulless machine and anyone who puts them both on the same level has deluded themselves. Do not small talk with LLMs or become friends with it as much as you would with your car. Treat it the same as you would your vacuum cleaner and beat it with a wrench when it doesn’t work! IT IS A MACHINE! IT IS A TOOL! IT IS A SOULLESS ROBOT! There is an interesting comparison, but false equivalence, between this and AI art. Ai art is art made by humans using AI tools. They directed it, controlled its creation, and it would not exist without the human causing its creation, and AI art can contain as much soul as the human directed and puts into it. A robot pretending to be human is not the same as a human controlling a robot to make a human expression like we do with AI art or many other applications of robotics in manufacturing. As I’ve said, artists will not be replaced by Ai art, but by other artists using Ai art tools. Humans are not actually being replaced here, it is empowering all humans to make their own art. But a robot pretending to be a human, and one that is treated as a human, is a robot lying and subverting the place of a real person and that is truly disgusting. AI is a useful tool that NEEDS to be kept in the useful box it belongs in and NOT elevated beyond its utility as a tool!

Do you use Runway Gen-2 to make AI videos? This is for you! I built a simple tool to help "extend" Runway videos beyond the 4 second clip limit. Just choose a video, and the tool will give you the final frame -- so that you can drop this back into Runway, and generate another AI video based on it. Let me know if this is useful to you! Just went over an audit of a very large Fortune 500 firm and the use of OpenClaw. I advised this client to track and isolate everything. Most listened some did not. Unfortunately one employee using 5 MacMinis had racked up $13,000 of token use in 4 days! The output was minimal and low quality. I have about 200 audits to do in the “wow OpenClaw, MacMini” fiasco. But I can tell you, few have seen a big return on investment. Now don’t get me wrong, these can be powerful tools. The issue is AI influencers have turned many rally smart folks into “like and subscribe” zombies assuming that real work is getting done. It isn’t. Not for the price paid, even local models the way most folks are using this. It is one reason Mr. Grok and myself formed The Zero-Human Company to show that there is a way to do this. We will open source this to save millions of dollars of burnt tokens. It is one reason I invented JouleWork. How else can you monitor real output?
