Grok Build is seriously addictive. I can't put it... down. I had my 8-year-old nephew build a game with it, Starship Breakthrough. He sent all the prompts himself; I just gave a little guidance on the side. He knows zero code, and when he finished his first real game, he was over the moon. One tip: when you start a new project in Grok Build, don't have it execute right away. Say "I want to build a ___, design it first, then build it." For vibe math in Programming Language Theory, it’s keeping up with Sol 5.6 and feels way more fun to work with. Some models want to write a whole museum of documents. I don’t think people realize how big a jump... Grok 4.6 is. Look at this comparison with Fable on the same prompt. They’re pretty close, but Grok took half the time at ONE TENTH the cost. And I prefer a lot of choices Grok made: - fills the hero image to the top instead of leaving an ugly white strip - flat sharp tiles instead of the usual rounded card slop - fewer pointless labels and elements, more restraint - lighter text, less dense and overwhelming Fable certainly has more depth if you’re trying to do crazy edge-of-distribution stuff. It’s a much bigger model. But for the majority of work, you can get Fable quality for a 90% discount. Just insane how much of a step up it is from Grok 4.5.show more
