20 year-old Jake Sykes currently plays in the 9th... tier of English football for Heanor Town - he’s just been offered a 2 month trial at Manchester City.🤯🧤 Sykes was in Sheffield Wednesday’s academy from age 10 to 15 when he was unfortunately released.❌ Following this, he had a couple offers to join other academies but chose to play in non-league - where he has been playing ever since.👏 Props to both Man City for giving him the opportunity, and to Sykes for earning the chance to trial with one of the biggest clubs on the planet.🌍 He will be training alongside Man City’s U18 and U21 sides over the next eight weeks.✅ From non-league step 5 to a trial at Man City - love to see stories like this, we wish Jake the best of luck for his trial.🫡✨show more

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: When you show pictures of how... clean Cape Town CBD is, they will then ask you about the townships. Like for like Cape Town CBD is the cleanest in South Africa by far. Let’s go to the townships, Cape Town townships have working swimming pools, I saw a play area which also had like a gym thing. Not sure we’re exactly but I saw an entire street in Cape Town township lined with palm trees. Then go to other townships in other provinces, no palm trees, no working swimming pool, and take a place like inanda in kzn, no running water for nearly a year. It’s also chaotic, did not see any swimming pools, they just broadened the lanes on the road. 90% of street lights not working, a resident said it’s like this for years. Cape Town in this years budget have a massive budget for fixing things that need to be fixed. Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis is a protege of Helen Zille and she is the only person in the country that can fix jhb. Frame 1: Cape Town CBD Frame 2: the cleaner part of jhb CBD which actually looks disgusting Frame 3: Cape Town townships. When Brayden Point came into the league, drafted 79th... overall, people questioned his ability to skate. Jon Cooper said his first impression of Point was that he struggled to skate. So, what did No. 21 do? He worked tirelessly to improve, becoming one of the best skaters in the world. Yes, I know he struggled this year, posting 18 goals & 32 assists through 63 games. It’s not great. But if anyone can work his way out of a slump, it’s Brayden Point. “I learned some things in my game that I gotta get better at. Now it’s about putting in the work, and this Summer is going to be a great opportunity to work on those things I identified.” - Brayden Point (during exit interviews). (🎥) - Here’s a glimpse of the Brayden Point we needed more of this season & what we can expect in 2026-27. I’m predicting 50 goals out of Pointer next year. Am I nuts?! #GoBoltsshow more

For the past three to four years now, I... usually go on holiday twice a year — one international solo trip and one local family vacation. I do go for my solo vacation in spring and our family holiday is during the summer when the kids are on school break. Schools have finally shutdown for summer break last week and the kids are already all pumped up for our family vacation which will be coming up in few weeks from now. We haven't yet gone for our family summer vacation for this year but babe has already started making plans for our 2027 summer holiday. Last weekend, she brought up the idea of just the two of us going on a boat cruise next summer. She wants it to be just me and her without the kids. She suggested that we bring in a family member on invitation from Naija, such that there will be a family at home with the kids while we both go on a lovey-dovey boat cruise to western Europe. She advised that we should start saving up for the adventure by September. This woman and long term planning are five and six, and that virtue has been very helpful in helping us avoid financial pressure. We do everything with ease, thanks to her wisdom. For instance, two weeks before the end of the session that ended last week, we have already bought the kids school uniforms for 2026/27 academic session that will be starting in September; thanks to my wife's wisdom. If she hasn't suggested it, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind at all. I am awake now, staring at this beautiful woman sleeping peacefully next to me and I feel nothing but joy in my heart and total love for her. I am really blessed to have someone like her as my better half. I am the often chaotic and the more expressive person while she is the calm, quiet and better organised one. We perfectly compliment each other. It'll be our 12th anniversary in exactly a month's time from now, and I really look forward to our anniversary getaway weekend. Cheers to forever, baby.show more

🚨🎙️Reporter: Wayne Rooney “What’s your reaction to Chelsea moving... for Danny Welbeck after spending heavily over the last five years?” 🗣️Rooney: “I honestly don’t understand it. Chelsea have spent billions over the last five years talking about building for the future, and now they’re signing a 35-year-old striker from Brighton? It just doesn’t add up to me.” “I believed Xabi Alonso was the man who could completely change Chelsea’s direction after last season. But if these are the type of signings the club is making, I’m starting to question that belief. Experience is important, but this move feels more like panic than planning.” “Chelsea should be building a squad capable of challenging for the Premier League and the Champions League. If this is the level of ambition in the transfer market, I genuinely worry they could miss out on European football again next season.” “Maybe I’ll be proven wrong, but from where I’m sitting, this transfer makes absolutely no sense.”show more

I just tried the new Gemini-4 Pro Preview and... honestly, for 3D work it’s right up there with Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra, all in a single shot, I genuinely didn’t expect it to be this good, It only used around 10% of my weekly limit on the $20 plan, I’m going to make a comparison video against Opus 5.2 or Fable and Astra if I can, I still can’t believe it, From what I’ve tested so far, this is easily top 1 or 2 for the best one shot execution I’ve seenshow more

Your $156/year VPN subscription is the reason your TikTok... gets 200 views. I shadowbanned myself 4 times before I figured this out. Here's what consumer VPNs won't tell you: You share ONE IP address with 5,000+ other users. When you connect to NordVPN's "New York server," you're joining: > 2,847 dropshippers > 1,293 bot farmers > 891 banned account creators > You TikTok's fraud detection sees this IP and thinks: "5,000 accounts from one address? Spam network." Your content never had a chance. I tested this across 23 accounts over 4 months. test Group A: Consumer VPN (NordVPN, ExpressVPN) > Shadowbanned in 72 hours > Average views: 247 per video > US audience reach: 3% test Group b: private cloud VPS with Outline VPN (dansvpn) > Zero shadowbans in 4 months > Average views: 48,000 per video > US audience reach: 87% The difference? IP address reputation. Consumer VPNs = flagged by every platform Private VPS = looks like a real US user Here's the method that's working: Instead of NordVPN ($12.99/mo): Set up your own VPN Why this works: TikTok assigns a "trust score" to every IP. Shared VPN IPs: Trust score 2/10 (thousands of users) Home IP: Trust score 5/10 (residential, but wrong region) Private cloud IP: Trust score 9/10 (consistent, clean, dedicated) When you post from a 2/10 IP → 200 test viewers When you post from a 9/10 IP → 20,000 test viewers Same video. 100x different initial reach. One creator I advised switched from ExpressVPN to a private VPS. Week 1 (ExpressVPN): 14 videos, 2,347 total views Week 2 (Private VPS): 14 videos, 847,000 total views 361x difference. The only variable: IP address authenticity. The setup (high level): 1. Rent a VPS in your target region (US East Coast for TikTok) 2. Install Outline VPN (Docker one-click install) 3. Generate your private keys 4. Connect from your phone 5. Warm up your TikTok account properly (separate thread) Your competitors already figured this out. While you're troubleshooting why NordVPN "isn't working," they're hitting 1M+ views with $3.50/month infrastructure. Consumer VPNs are designed for privacy. Not for platform growth. +113k No words can describe the month that I... had to be honest and all I can thank is God and the relations that I have made. To say that 3 months ago I went from -3k -> 5.6k -> 23k to now is just so amazing for me. Im happy with the turnout of every single day as well as I can't thank 67FnF anymore and all the boys that are in there 30-1 pretty damn happy and my 1 off day is the day after I ended a 4-year relationship so i'm happy to say I kept my head down and kept grinding. Just had the round of my life (this is... Year 4 of golf for me) at Watchung Valley. BEAUTIFUL course. S/o to my boy Scott for the invite. Shot a 42-38. Had this birdie putt on 18 to break 80. As you can tell by that god awful putting stroke in the video, my putting is killing my scores But never struck the ball like that before. Irons and wedges just leaving the club and going exactly where I wanted them to. 7 pars in a row at one point. Such a funny sport though because my brain is less replaying the 9 pars/1 birdie I’m replaying my three putts on holes 2, 3 and 8 🤣 It’s never enough — is it? Anyway, I’m totally screwed now for gambling/match play with my poker crew because of some exception score quirk in the GHIN system that just dropped me from a 15.4 to a 13.5 in one round 😂show more

I’m excited to introduce Artist Commons, a year-long, online... development program for early- and mid-career artists. Applications open next week, and the program starts in mid-January. ➤ Do you want to learn more about how to navigate the business of art? ➤ Do you want an artist community invested in your longterm growth? ➤ Do you want real feedback on your work instead of just some kind words from your friends? If you’ve been looking for a way to level up your art practice without spending an arm and a leg to get an MFA, Artist Commons is for you. Artists accepted into the program are paired with a mentor and a small cohort of peers at their level for weekly feedback sessions. Then tune in every month to lectures on the business of art, craft workshops from visiting artists, talks on various modern and contemporary art movements, and guest speakers working across the art world. You’ll build deep community with your fellow members through online meetups including regular reading groups, close looking exercises, and forum discussions, as well as quarterly IRL meetups in select cities. Developing this has been so inspiring and I’m so excited to build the community I wish I’d had when I was coming up. I can’t wait to tell you about all the amazing guests we have lined up. If you’d like to go into next year with a clear sense of purpose for your art practice, we’d love to have you. Below is the website where you can learn more about the program. Follow Artist Commons on socials. And sign up for the email list to be the first to know when applications open next week.show more

Unmarshal Mega Buyback Plan 2025 In 2024, we kicked... off our buy-and-burn program with over 1 million $MARSH removed from circulation, averaging 250K tokens per quarter. That was just the warm-up. Earlier this year, we announced a bold target: to buy back 4 million $MARSH throughout 2025. We’re now going well beyond that. We’re committing to a 10 million $MARSH buyback over the next one year. A snapshot of the second buyback of the year will be shared in the next 24 hours, along with proof. An aggressive open market buyback is already underway, backed by a renewed focus on driving real value back to the community. This next phase is supported by real momentum: → A significantly expanded product suite → Key integrations across RWA, DePIN, and AI → A live, revenue-positive network with growing adoption We’re actively working to bring that circulation supply number down, while reinforcing the foundation for long-term value capture. Full details dropping soon. Stay tuned. $MARSHshow more

Football is such a brutal sport, things can change... in a second. Arthur Okonkwo arrived on loan from Arsenal in 2023, he helped Wrexham secure promotion from League Two to League One. You can hear the fans singing for him to “Sign the contract”. This was at the end of the season in June 2024. Well, he eventually signed a 3-year contract and stayed with them. He helped them secure promotion again from League One to Championship. Wrexham signed Ward to replace him in the Championship, because Ward was more experienced…Unfortunately, Ward got injured as the season started. Okonkwo then helped them so much in the league that they almost got promoted to the premier league. Guess what? Ward came back from injury in the last 4 games of last season, the coach, Phil Parkinson benched Okonkwo. I can even say that’s why they didn’t promote, because he started to change the squad that was already doing well and sitting in a good spot for play offs. Wrexham has now signed Patterson from Sunderland. He was on loan at Millwall last season but those ones didn’t keep him. Okonkwo has now moved to 3rd choice. This is the reason he’s now being loaned to Charlton. If he does well, and Charlton does well, I’m sure he’ll get a good move because he is a good goalkeeper and he’s still 24. Again, football is brutal. Fans could be singing your name to sign a new contract today, and by tomorrow, you’re out. Football is not played with emotions, it’s a brutal sport.show more

Can hear the seams in the pen from #TransferPortal... arm Nick Bonn (Nick Bonn) who was up to 96 MPH today. Actually is 6-1, **160 lbs.** I put 190 on the original post from his outing. Lively arm. Added slo-mo side angle 🎥 to this. Just started working on splitter with 375 rpm. New pitch that was up to 86 MPH to compliment slider at 81-83 MPH. Loved watching him pitch today for Padres Collegiate Scout in the Five Tool Collegiate League. Just hit the portal, but think there’s going to be a lot to like with whatever school lands him next.
